Special red white and blue breakfast!!

Rena R our server was the most gracious, efficient and professional waitress that made our first time experience at this Denny's relaxing and very enjoyable. Our plates were completely cleaned at the end of our Grand Slam and Red, white and blue special meals as each bite was scrumptious and so satisfying!! Endless coffee refills without even asking, polite service from attentive servers and despite the obvious need for more personnel, the staff at this Denny's does a superb job taking care of all the customers who walk thru the entrance! COVID protocols are in place as well as a table for take out order pickups of which there were quite a number! - and if you're an AARP member, don't forget to bring your red card for an additional 15% off your bill!

Service was quick. Still confused as to why my plate didn't come in the griddle and was split. Food was warm not hot.

New Classic Tres Leches Pancake Breakfast!

"Tis better to have eaten a pancake than never to have eaten a pancake at all." ~Alfred Lord Denny'son On Sunday before church my mom, toddler and I stopped in for a hot breakfast, we were seated right away and began our order! I ordered one of their Premium Craft Pancakes, the New Classic Tres Leches Pancakes Breakfast. These pancakes are INCREDIBLE, they're everything you want them to be! It comes with a fancy glass bottle to distribute your syrup on your cinnamon pancakes and a side of sweet delicious cream to pour over the top! The sausage was flavorful, hash browns perfectly browned and my eggs were runny just like I asked for! These delicious sides were plentiful so I split half with my toddler, which she enjoyed! I would highly recommend this location! What once started out as a Donut shop in 1953 has grown into so much more with over 1,700 locations to date! Shoutout to our server Rene, for at least 21 years she has been at this location with a cheery attitude and gives amazing service to each and every customer she waits on! We will continue to keep this location on rotation for some delicious and hearty breakfasts served 24 hours a day! Sign up for their rewards program to receive discounts like 20% off your bill and a free Grand Slam on your birthday!

BBQ Wings and Rings. New on the Menu. Very tasty tangy bbq sauce and golden brown onion rings.

Hour and a half to get a raw chicken sandwich and the sandwich was wrong. Don't waste your time go home and eat cereal out of the box.

Biscuit particularly not good as it was doughy, wet , chewy and tasted of too much baking powder. I did like the big chunks of meat. The country potatoes were typical diner quality, but I just don't like country style breakfast potatoes. No substitution offered. Server was efficient if a bit rough around the edges. I sat at the counter. She made sure that I had everything I needed. That's okay, I'm happy enough, don't need a smile from some one who's bringing me food. Oh, yeah just like my old sourpuss mother. Now the value for the dollar issue... The breakfast was $22, the unremarkable coffee was $4.50. After tax and a $5 tip I was out the door for $33. I recently had a wwwwaaaayyy more satisfying breakfast at Mario's Early Toast for half that price. Hot off the griddle is a big improvement over a Denny's. But that's a pretty low bar for judgement. Sorry, no return for me.

A classic breakfast sounded good at the time... From the breakfast menu I chose the Juke Box Special but the friendly server suggested the Soldier Boy instead which was basically the same thing except this included grilled potatoes and only one pancake. The server urged me to try the potatoes... omgosh! it was so good, they were grilled and I love the crunchiness. Nothing fancy on the menu just good, ole' classic home cookin' and diner "comfort food." Breakfast is served all day. Chubby's Diner is a small, friendly, neighborhood diner that is as retro as it gets down from the decor and food. Friendly customer service! Review #3982

I walked in and waited less than a minute to be seated. This location is actually way busier than the Arden location, which to me is a great sign. Since I only come here for breakfast I usually only order either the Big Grizz or the Big Bear's choice breakfast. This time I went with the Big Bear's choice. I went with 2 eggs sunny side with sliced avocado, 2 sweet cream pancakes and 2 pieces of bacon. The Citrus Heights location is definitely smaller than the Arden location. The little raviolis were very strange. Some were only partially cooked, many had edges that were hard and inedible. $34 for this? Husband ordered the pomodoro. The pasta had been boiled to death - it was so mushy it was inedible. We both tossed out our entrees after a few bites. We were extremely disappointed, needless to say. This was my after-surgery treat and it was terrible. Out of curiosity, I perused some of the reviews, and the bad ones scared me. The owner's responses were condescending. Two parties stated in their (separate) reviews that they got food poisoning.
