I was hesitant about this place, but holy moly...it's GREAT! So fresh. They cut all the meat to order and grill it right there. I literally have no complaints. Even with as new as god place is, they are all working well together and running things smoothly. We love it here

Atmosphere was wonderful. The sandwich was amazing. David cooked it as ordered. #17 is our favorite. There was a woman mopping and keeping the place great.

Their burgers are flavorful, has the right amount of sauce (not too much), and the buns that stay together until the last bite. We love the nicely crunchy well seasoned with a touch of spice curly fries. To top it off, for us, they carry a NA beer. Hooray! Service is friendly and helpful. They checked on us multiple times to make sure all was well. We tried their burgers not long after they opened. Recently, we returned and I tried their mixed baby lettuce salad. The current mix includes asparagus, apples, and watermelon radish. The dressing is the perfect balance of refreshing with a touch of sweet. I will have to add a photo next time. The salad is HUGE and at $11 a great value! I added a burger patty and it was a nice combo. I really like the choices to add on. You can add protein such as chicken (white or dark meat), pastrami, Ahi, or burger patty for additional charge. Hubby got a milk shake made with Gunther's ice cream. What a treat! We enjoyed everything we've had at Gami. But I can see I will be ordering the salad quite often this summer.

The burger patty itself was not super flavorful, but it was put together well, and each of the ingredients tasted fresh. As other reviews have mentioned, it is a bun-forward burger, but the bun is better than your average store-bought burger bun. As a lover of Asian food, I enjoyed the pickles. The waffle and curly fries were both heavily seasoned. I enjoyed the thick ranch dipping sauce, but there was an additional herb in there that I couldn't quite put my finger on... it wasn't bad, just different. The patio area is super cute! Parking can be difficult, but not when we arrived at opening time on a weekend morning. Even though they gave us a buzzer, staff brought our food to us in red baskets. Staff checked on us and brought extra napkins when requested.

This is a luxury. $20/large sandwich. Life isn't cheap. Things like this is a treat. So I took my son out to lunch. I asked to change the turkey for ham on a club sandwich, which already has ham, and is the cheaper meat.... and was told I would have to build the sandwich from scratch for $2 more. I wasn't asking for more meat, I wasn't asking to ADD meat, I was asking to simply change the more expensive meat for the cheaper lunch meat. Cashier standoffish, definitely didn't care about customer service, just a flat No build it yourself. Ok. No ty. Again, already a $20 sandwich. No thank you. When the sandwiches were ready, after at least 5 peoplewho came in behind us, another girl called out my name, but incorrect, no big deal. I stated mine in question form and she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and handed it to the cashier who handed it to me. I dont know what it was today, but even my child said it. He said everyone working was just "hella rude" and made him uncomfortable to want to return. Honestly, me too. Sandwiches, amazing. Everytime. Service? I could pass on the attitude. No accommodation or explanation to customers for a request, only an uncharge? Again, I could pass on that. The last two beat out the first everyday. The owner used to be in so often, all the workers were so nice, it was like the Dutch Bros of sandwich shops Not worth it for the price.

They offer a variety of sandwiches with ingredient combinations that will please any sandwich lover. I love their Italian and especially that you can add roasted red peppers, olives, and pepperoncini to them. My husband typically gets the Italian or their Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The large may seem expensive, but it's huge and definitely enough for two meals. They also offer salad options and soups, along with cookies and a great tasting pasta salad. There's plenty of tables to eat inside, but we typically take ours to-go. We always stop at the convenience store that's attached for more drinks and snacks.

When Rosa sold the restaurant (formerly El Papagayo), she didn't take the decision lightly. Her dedication to quality, and respect for her loyal vegan clientele needed to be preserved. But carnivores and sports fans win here, too. This is what happens when the former executive chef at 58 Degrees and Holding Co. In Midtown teams up with a creative bartender with over 10 years' experience, one who knows that a real margarita includes actual fresh fruit. Not only do these guys have mad skills - they're genuinely nice people. Combine that with music, big screen TVs and a casual, fun atmosphere. Add in free appetizers, Whimpy Burger Wednesdays (Sorry guys, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday" ain't gonna fly here - but good try!), and of course, scrumptious food with options for gluten-free and vegan diets...plus plenty of parking, and a horseshoe-shaped bar that encourages new friendships. Pure magic. My personal recommendations - Lady Lumps or Tofu Lumps, light and flaky choices that will make you rethink lumpia. As of this post, the current special is the Palo Tallow, flavorful fried rice featuring thinly sliced, sweet and savory Chinese sausage, topped with an omelet for added protein. Or, try the "Cali"-flower Sisig, or choose from delectable, skewered meats. And why not get in a collision with the Head-On Garlic Shrimp! Don't underestimate this place, these guys are true culinary adventurers and willing to change up the menu to bend with the wind. Check it out!

I remember the first time I heard of Ike's Sandwich shop-I was going to a Giants game in San…read moreFrancisco and my brother told me about this spot that had these incredible sandwiches with really cool names, most of their sandwiches are named after Bay Area sports legends. We decided to stop at the location in Walnut Creek and as soon as I saw all the options available and finally took my first bite-I was hooked. It's been my favorite sandwich shop ever since. Fast forward to today and I had heard there was an Ike's location on Howe Avenue-so I just knew I had to check it out. This location is part of a multi tenant shopping center so parking is plentiful. When I walked in,I was immediately greeted by one of the workers, they were all very helpful. The restaurant is very clean and there are plenty of tables to sit either inside or outside. I placed my order via the mobile app,as usual and after much debate,I ended up going with an old favorite of mine. I got the Matt Cain. This sandwich features turkey, roast beef, salami,& provolone and godfather sauce-I made a few additions adding lettuce, pickles, banana peppers and jalapeños. My order was immediately ready for pickup when I arrived,It was ready at the exact time the app instructed me to pick it up. I like that they add a Caramel Apple lollipop with all their sandwich orders,it's a cute thing. The sandwich was perfectly made and has so many flavors that went so well together-not sure exactly what the Godfather sauce is but it tastes kind of like a Garlic-Dijon sauce-it's pretty tasty. Their sandwiches are generally around $15.00 range, pretty standard for what you're getting-I wouldn't call it a great value but the taste is definitely there to justify the cost. I would for sure recommend Ike's to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of trying their sandwiches-they are pretty high level & this location definitely does a great job. PS-I have to mention their menu is so incredible-so much variety-there is a sandwich for everyone here at Ike's.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. This is something that is seemingly happening less and less in my experience so a nice "welcome in" with a smile will get me every time! The menu is a LOT but I'm glad they have so many choices. I couldn't decide between the ménage a trois and the backstabber. . .in comes Dale to my rescue! I asked him his thoughts and he was more than happy to share and he did it in a way that made me feel like we would be friends from now on. He also suggested the Creole onion chips, which are so good. It's like he became my automatic food buddy!! I went with the ménage and it was what he said it was. .DELICIOUS! The location is quaint so perfect for linking up with a friend for a bite or a couple taking lunch together. The decor is. . .the owner which I found to be hilarious!!
