How this has 2.5 stars is beyond me. This is the best Denny's I've ever been to. It is consistently fast and great product, I was really surprised! Being a restaurant professional i was really not expecting much, but they changed my mind! I've been here 5 times, love the Maple filled donut holes, the Supreme Omelet, the fish and chips, the burgers and you can never go wrong with the specialty pancakes or the Sweet Cream cold brew! Also what's great is they always bring out a fruit cup first for my niece so she has something to munch on while we order, and before she steals my milkshake! Went for a quick lunch with my son and husband last weekend and the place was empty despite their recent grand "reopening". Our food was cold, completely undercooked, and our waitstaff was clearly under the influence. They were twitching, could barely talk, sniffing/rubbing their nose constantly, and then spent the 40 minutes we were there wiping the same 3 tables over and over again. I am a pretty understanding person, but it was so uncomfortable, and not family friendly at all. read more

The food was horrible! Went there because Applebee's had a long wait. we each ordered cheese burgers. They are so tasteless, well tasted like cardboard. There is no way it was 100% beef. Beef isn't white, ever. I won't be eating there again for dinner. I sure hope there breakfast meals haven't gone downhill. read more

The staff was a bunch of teenagers. Our server was sweet but seemed rushed. Their was only about 2 other tables in the restaurant. We ordered two classic cheeseburgers with extra onions and the server came out to tell us they had one onion left. Our burgers came out with two tiny pieces on both burgers. I couldn't give 0 stars or I would have. We arrived to Denny's at 9:35 & got off to eat. We walked in & an employee said we're closed. The restaurant closes at midnight, but had a sign on the door that said 10:00. It was 9:35 when we got off. Before leaving I went back to take a picture because this is unacceptable. Well above average relative to other Denny's, so take those four stars as triangulating around that standard, not haute cuisine. You want Denny's to be predictable and get attentive service for basics like water and coffee refills, and that's exactly what I got from Ashley (sp?) and the kitchen, which was quite fast mid-evening on a weeknight. The manager was a personable guy, and it was refreshing after seeing quite a few discouraged Denny's managers over the years. The property itself is a little weedy -- a cheap motel is adjacent and the grounds could use a spiffing up to add to the curb appeal. If you are reading this, local management, that's where I'd put your efforts in -- what's going on inside the restaurant is good. read more

Food is good but the service has always been great. We take our grandkids and one time we were going to a movie after and asked if it were possible to get our food out quickly and they accommodated us. We went to celebrate a birthday because our grandkids love Dennys. They said they don't do anything special for birthdays but at the end of our meal they brought out a big sundae and crew sang happy birthday. Made her day special! read more

I've been to Dennys plenty of times but this time has just over the top amazing. Our waitress Tamara was absolutely fantastic. She made it feel so homey and like the family restaurant as a little girl. It's so nice to see there are still waitress who enjoy making their customers laugh. What a waste of time and money it is sad to see an American staple going so rotten I got a simple comfort meal and end up getting so sick! the cook/manager Rob it's obviously cutting corners and heating and reheating food over and over to the point of chard and rock solid, and he is rude and his appearance is less then ready for either roll, forget about service barely fair...depending on the day and hour, everything in this place has gone into cruise control and even do it is a chain you are for sure paying for supermarket purchase ingredients, forget about substituting anything you will get over charge and cheated out the original choice.The ambience it's uneventful basic and in some cases uncomfortable specifically if you get a just wipe bench so you can dry it as you seat with your clothes eww, overall worse Denny's in the surrounding area and a shame for the tradition. Our server was wonderful. I ordered a simple breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon and hash browns. The bacon was sliced so thin you could see through it. In the past the hash browns would be small mound of yumminess! Sadly that was not the case this time. There was so little on my plate I actually thought it was a mistake or maybe a joke...? The cook had used about half a potato and then smooshed it on the plate to make it appear as though there was more. I asked the server if I could get a bit more because there was usually much more. The response from the cook was 'If she wants more then she has to pay for it'. I declined. I don't think we'll eat here again. The cook didn't seem to care. read more

The standards of the food here were up to par with the Denny's i've tried down state. The store was definitely not the cleanest. There were crayons and tampons on the floor of the table where I was seated at for a 21st birthday dinner that I brought my boyfriend to. The waitress was very nice. We got a grand slam, a breakfast set with eggs and pancakes, and a plate of ice cream. There was a lot of chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and chocolate ice cream. There was so much food we couldn't even finish it all in one sitting! I wish Denny's would switch to (waterproof) paper boxes rather than foam because it is less sustainable to use styrofoam and requires switching containers in order to reheat the food anyway. The location is a bit hard to get to for me since I do not have a car...that said, most students without cars would have to either walk here, take the bus and get off at a far location and walk over, or take a cab which would cost $16 round trip because that's what I did. Beware if you are paying with card because the lowest option for tips is 18%. There is a lot of parking space outside. I've never seen the parking fill up completely. A major perk of this place is that it is always open and they give a free grand slam for people on their birthdays. read more

Just came from Dennys and my daughter and I waited 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Meanwhile there was 6-8 tables that hadn't been cleared and four wait people standing behind the counter talking, not looking at anyone standing in the now very long line. The food that we received was very fresh and we really enjoyed it. What really made our visit extra enjoyable was our server Debbie. She was an amazing person with a great personalit. she can and checked on us and never "forgot that we were there." she interacted with us, we laughed together. Amazingly poor service ruined what promised to be an average meal celebrating the birthdays of two awesome people. The meals for our party of nine were brought out piecemeal, with over 30 minutes between the arrival of the first and last meal. One steak was over cooked and another was still frozen. Between the two there might have been palatable meal. The steak and shrimp arrived sans shrimp, the omelette arrived without toast. We had to ask for refills on both the coffee and water. And repeatedly asked for two missing soups and things like steak sauce, cocktail sauce. The ice tea was old (tasted awful) and frankly most of our meals even failed to achieve the normal average standards. When we discussed this with the manager, the staff was thrown under the bus. They promised to reduce the price of the lost meal and then failed to deliver on that promise. If you want a truly memorable meal, this is the place. I was craving an eggs benedict all day after a terrible day. Just to get to dennys and them tell me they don't serve eggs benedict's after 2pm. I was so upset my day felt ruined. All I wanted was a delicious yummy eggs benedict but I was upset when I find out they switched it to only available from 6am to 2pm. My server was amazing and so sweet. But I wish they would expand the hours of how long they serve the eggs benedict. Only a couple other menu items are restricted. The bathrooms have been remodeled but they're in desperate need of a paint job some cleaning A thorough cleaning and not just the floor. The ceiling could use a paint job and in the women's bathroom there's a wire just hanging like a zip cord plugged in. The employees of very pleasant and eager to help you in anyway. The food is OK was not excellent but then again I'm at Denny's it's a fast food breakfast. the blueberry puppies puppies we're over done but still very good. We had a lot of food on a plate and definitely couldn't finish it. So it's definitely cost-effective. Decided to get some breakfast at Denny's, waiting to be seated, very long line that also extends outside. Looked inside the restaurant and we see that most of the tables are empty and a section in back is closed. There are more available tables then people waiting. Not sure what the management is doing but having empty tables while there are people waiting to be seated is ridiculous. Every body in this town knows that it Parents weekend, most of the revenue comes from the two colleges that are in this town. For management not to know that and have staff on call to compensate for the rush is just amateurish. BTW this was the same last year, they don't learn or they don't care, I'm leaning toward " don't care". The quality continues to deteriorate at this location. Rude staff, burnt food, broken phones and poor web ordering bring the experience to a new low. Fast food, diner food, eating out, is not a necessity. Visiting these locations is a benefit for the business and its staff, orders should be prepared and treated as such. Courtesy is a two way street. No amount of new signs or paint can rectify poor customer service and lackluster food. read more

I went with my family about 2-3 days ago. We ordered the banana and chocolate chip pancakes and I was really craving the chicken wings as well. We had gotten our pancake ordered and finished that. But we were waiting for the chicken wings wondering when they'd be out. The chicken wings never came even though we told the waitress we wanted the buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese. Ah, good old Denny's. A classic breakfast place to bring your family. To be fair, I'm not the biggest fan of Denny's in general, but I was willing to give it another try.
