Im a reg here but just had a bad experience - well my wife did when we went here for breakfast. They took like 35 minutes to bring our food and my wifes food was cold and eggs were raw when she ordered over medium. My food was fine and I f**ked it up (Lumberjack Slam!) but she was pissed and sent everything back. They didnt charge us for her plate but they also didnt want to let us use our coupon for 20% off! F**k that wheres the manager? The manager apologized and hooked us up. It was pretty busy this day so my advice is of course, dont come here on a busy day! Like Veterans day, Memorial Day. This is probably the worst Denny's I have ever been too. After traveling across the country and eating Denny's almost everyday. These waiters/waitresses have the nerve to make me wait 30+ min to refill my drink. Currently eating a super bird and dying because I can't wash down my food with a nice cold beverage. I think after they remodeled they also switched up their regular staff. I have been there twice since the remodeling and service has been terrible. Both times were in the afternoon and pretty much empty so we got seated quickly however, after being seated it takes the waitress an eternity to come back and take our drink order and then another eternity to bring them and take our food order. And you better pray they get your order right cause it takes them forever to bring it out. My order was wrong but i was so hungry I didnt wanna risk sending it back and waiting another 45 mins. read more

We had a horrible experience at this Denny's location we went when it wasn't that busy in the evening. The manager or supervisor took our order, the lady who brought our food was a waitress that didn't even take our order (Monica) she brought us the wrong food order, and a side of fries. We took back our meal since it was the wrong order, and the fries had a big hair in it. We took those back. When we got the correct meal they brought back new fries half the size we originally ordered. Very frustrating that they couldn't get it right. It ruined the meal and we were grossed out due to the fact we had a hair in our food. Once the bill came we thought it would either be taken care of or at least a discount for the inconvenience, but instead they charged us for the wrong food that they originally brought. My husband and i decided to eat at Denny's today, which is rare because we are not big fans of this restaurant, but we said okay lets give it a chance... We walked into the restaurant and got sat down pretty quickly... So we sat down started looking at the menu deciding what to get well .. Long story short we sat their for 20 minutes just waiting for some one to come and say hi and offer us a drink no one came all the waiters would look at us roll their eyes and just walk by us ... Our server Rosario was completely incompetent. Friendly when she decided to actually show her face however that was only when we were seated. THATS IT. I waited for 10 minutes for my drink to be refilled after there was no sign of any employee in our general area. We attempted to wave down the manager, Roberto and was blatantly ignored. My daughter had to actually get up and walk to the kitchen area to request the drink refill. When the drink was brought back we were not asked how our food was or if we were in need of anything. Simply dropped off at the table and left. This type of behavior would be slightly closer to acceptable if they were busy however, 4 customers in the restaurant is not busy! Very disappointed. Ordered a grand slamwich with hashbrowns and when I got my order there was pieces of mushroom in my hashbrowns. Now if you all go to Denny's you know that there is nothing in the hashbrowns other than the potatoes itself. Very disgusting to know that my order had no mushrooms not even in the sandwhich and yet there was mushrooms in the sandwhich either their cooks are not careful when they cook or they tried giving me someone else's leftovers never eating there again IHOP and norms it is! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Got seated right away. Took about 5 minutes for the waiter to bring our water. Took about 15-25 for the waiter to come back and take our order. The manager came by to the table near me and apologized for the wait and said nothing to my table. After another 15-20 they finally bring out the food. Plus one of the meals that were supposed to be in skillet was served on a plate. I would give 1 star but the steak was delicious, service makes this Dennys terrible though!! We were seated with menus then left alone while the table behind us was seated 5 minutes after and asked what they'd like to drink about 5 minutes after they received thier drinks server finally asked what we were having. My mom got her OJ quick then came the food and 10 minutes after that my dad had to get up to flag down the manager to get our coffees. We had to get the attention of different servers and the staff bussing the tables to get refills, extra napkins and the bill. I hadn't been to this location in years, last time I came they had people at every table and the servers had thier shit handled how things have changed. Next time I'll make make the 2 minute additional drive to IHOP, wait is a little longer but it's obviously for a reason. read more

The staff were especially attentive and friendly. Also they got all the orders right and the food was fresh, hot and great tasting. The last time I went for breakfast, there was a fruit fly in my apple juice and a hair in my ranch (clearly not mine, i don't have blonde hair). I used to come to this Denny's a lot. Now I don't think I'll be going there. To begin with the waitress was okay, she never stood out and took a while to come to check in with us. Second, the food took an Hour to get to our tables and when it did, it was half assed. The hash-browns, weren't cook all the way, and the pancakes looked like mini pancakes. If I could give 0 stars I would! This is the Norwalk, CA Denny's location on Pioneer. I have had issues with them many times in the past 2 years. I have had orders never show up and the manager tell me there was no such thing as a refund. I already reported this location to the BBB and hopefully this place will get shut down soon. They are selling old stale food to customers, they also steal customers food. Today it took an hour to receive our delivery and I had to pay a $11 in delivery fees, just to have my orders burned or half my order missing and it come cold and stale! I called and was told that I would not receive a refund but to order another day and I would receive it free! I have done this many times and never received anything FREE plus had to pay delivery fees for their mistakes! THE WORKERS AND MANAGERS HERE ARE CROOKS AND DISGUSTING! So we came here late at night/early morning after an unsuccesful attempt at the infamous "Grunion Run". We were on our way home at about 3:00 a.m., and were hungry, so we decided to stop by at this "right off of the freeway" classic American diner. We always go to the Denny's in Hacienda Heights, so this was a new location for us. The place looked nice and tidy, just like many of the other Denny's. I was super cold (my legs were frozen from the icy ocean water), and so we quickly made our way in. The warm, inviting atmosphere already made me that much better. We walked in, only to be seated within moments. Our waitress, Karina, who I believe was also the manager/hostess, was quick to get us a booth and immediately took our drink orders. 2 hot coffees and a tea arrived within 2-3 minutes. In about five minutes we were ready to order, and sure enough, she was there to write it down. I was REALLY hungry so I ordered the Southern Slam off the "Tour of America" menu. It was absolutely delightful. The Biscuits & Gravy were savory, creamy, and just absolutely fabulous. The eggs were cooked to my liking, and the sausages were great too. The only thing I didn't like were the grits, absolutely horrendous, but I've had grits before at home and at different places as well; the experience was no different. Everyone else at our table had the unlimited pancakes. I tried one as well... simply too die for. Moist, chewy, lightly sweet, creamy, will definitely be back for more. Multiple times throughout the night, Karina would return to make sure everything was just fine, which really made the meal THAT much better. She was kind, attentive, and altogether a GREAT waitress. So the overall experience was marvelous; the food, service, and all-around environment/atmosphere, just added to make it an unforgettable night. *RECOMMENDED! read more

Another dissapointing post. Order breakfast over the phone. When i went to pick up the stuff, i was cheated in food. Hashbrowns did not match. Had from small, medium and large sizes. They did not separate food by request. So more time i had to wait for them. Was cheated on corn for my dinner plate. Was cheated overall and all infrom of the manager.
