It isn't an "influencer" spot with trendy decor; you come here for straight-to-the-point, satisfying diner comfort food, plenty of open seating, and an easygoing vibe. I ordered the #77 combo, which comes loaded with two eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. The standout on the plate was easily the hash browns; they nailed the texture with a crisp, golden crunch on the outside without being overly greasy. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good...a little more flavor would have put them up there with the hashbrowns/ The total came to $17 (including a $5 tip), which is great everyday value for the portion size. Since it was quiet when I stopped by, service was prompt and attentive throughout. For parking: Street parking was easy to grab right out front, but if Bellflower Blvd gets busy, a public parking structure is conveniently nearby and within walking distance. read more

Bellflower Diner is a very old building just like most of the buildings on Bellflower Blvd. The food was good, and tasted like it was made in house and not from a can or box. I had the waffle, eggs and sausage. The waffle was a little bland but ok. Menu prices are good. $10.99 for breakfast is not bad. Me and my cycling group rode from Bell Gardens to Bellflower one morning, our destination was a bionicos place, but it was closed! So we looked across the street and saw this place. We were all famished from the ride so we pulled up, locked the bikes, and walked in. The dining area had just enough central booths to accommodate all 12 of us which was great. I love vintage looking diners and this one was no exception. We all ordered our plates and I was shocked at how low the prices were! We also found out the place was family owned and the Mom, Son and Daughter all were on the same shift, helping serve us all. I would 100% come back if I'm ever in the area again. I enjoyed this little diner! We want to try new places around our area and came across bellflower diner. It's definitely not modern inside but it has a Homey vibe to it. I can tell lots of locals come here to eat and firefighters/police around the area too. Sometimes when I see places like that, serving the community, you know it's legit! We ordered their omelette which was really good. I enjoyed it and so did my husband. The service was excellent, very attentive and I always love when I don't have to ask for more water or a refill because they are on it! Will def be back for some more good eats here! read more

I haven't been here in years. The food is still good and the service was good. However it does need a good cleaning. The floors haven't seen a broom or a mop in a while, same goes for the walls. 6/30/23 Don't get the pork chops! Finally, we have a day to have breakfast together and hubby decided to go here. I wanted to go to the restaurant next-door but I got outvoted. He ordered the Huevos Rsncheris & I ordered the Pork chops & eggs. Big mistake for me-the meat was so tough I almost broke a tooth (ok exaggeration on my part) it was hard to chew and definitely hard to swallow. At the very least my potatoes were good. I informed the waitress that the pork chops were inedible and she apologized, saying their supplier does not always provide the best (quality)/cuts of meat. I think the food preparer just overcooked it. It's an average diner with average eats. read more

A very small country, local diner down in Bellflower. I drove down from West LA specifically for this diner because I am working through a list of all the diners in Los Angeles County. I don't come to this area often so it was nice to mix it up. The menu is very limited, but does have a lot of great American diner classics on it. Our server was nice however everything that we ordered and getting checked on was very delayed. They forgot our drink refills two separate times and also all of our food items came out very slowly. They also kept running out of coffee because a couple large groups kept getting all of their coffees refilled and then I'd have to wait for mine to brew. Pricing is fair and portion sizes are medium so if you are in the area, it can be a good deal. They don't have a dedicated parking lot, but street parking is extremely easy to find in this part of town. I was able to find a free space right out front. For our first visit, we chose the Eggs Benedict and the Chilaquiles with Chile Verde. The Eggs Benedict was actually pretty good and I especially enjoyed the cheddar cheese mixed in. The chilaquiles were also very nice and the sauce really added to the overall flavors. The eggs on the Eggs Benedict were a bit overdone and not as runny as I like, but still, both dishes had some nice flavors. I would recommend if you are in the area and are searching for a nice local diner. read more

Amazing options for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I spontaneously came across their page and man I am not disappointed! The hospitality and cleanliness of this restaurant is very welcoming. The crew here all greeted me as I walked in, mind you i'm taking food to go. But just the atmosphere in here is amazing. I'll come next time with time to enjoy a sit down kind of meal. My friend brought me here since he said this was one of his favorite spots for years now. The prices are actually decent. It's a little Mom and pop with a bunch of little cute knickknacks everywhere. I only saw one person working the floor and one person in the back. I ordered steak and eggs. The meat had quite a bit of fat, but it wasn't that bad. Like I said, the prices are reflection of the quality of meat. I got. Came with potatoes and egg. We recently visited Bellflower Diner for a lunch date with my husband, and I was charmed from the moment we walked in! It's the second week of September, and the exterior was decorated with Halloween decorations--very cool! The exterior and the building are old especially if you look at the places popping up down the street. This has history imbedded in, if you're exclusively bougie , it's not for you. It's full of vintage license plates, deer heads, handwritten menu signs, and cozy red vinyl booths that immediately make you feel at home. The atmosphere is enhanced by a great playlist or station of oldies and 60s R&B, giving a nostalgic vibe. Service was very friendly ; as soon as I entered, the waiter--who might also be the owner--greeted me and asked if I wanted a drink. I overheard him sharing the diner's history with another customer, and it was clear he's passionate about the place. It was fascinating to hear them engage in discussions about everything from politics to real estate, while still keeping an eye on the other customers. Their rapport was genuinely heartwarming! I ordered an iced tea, which had a subtly unique flavor that I couldn't quite place, but it was refreshing. My husband got the club sandwich which is served with hash brown, substitute has to be requested. I opted for chilaquiles and requested half red and half green sauce. The staff was more than accommodating, happily making my request. Overall, Bellflower Diner feels like a slice of home with its charming decor and friendly atmosphere. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly recommend for a cozy meal. I orders steak and eggs, I am not sure what this was but it was not what I expected. They brought out the toast 5 minutes before the food. This is one of the best mom&pop breakfast places I've been to. The breakfast here is 100% better than at a place like ihop lol. From the bacon to the pancakes. A very delicious homemade taste. I absolutely love getting the Lucky Boy special and adding double the bacon. When I come here they're full.. Most of the times. So I order through yelp and just pick up.
