We made a pit stop here on our way to Portland. Despite it being a weekday morning, the place was bustling. Patty, a lovely lady, assisted us that day and found us a quieter table away from the noise. She promptly served our coffee as we were in a hurry, allowing us to quickly scan the menu and place our orders. We opted for a Jr. Chocolate Chip Pancake, Loaded Veggie Omelette, Berry Vanilla Crepe Breakfast, and Strawberry Stuffed French Toast. The food arrived in about 10 minutes, and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast that morning. The Loaded Veggie Omelette, my usual choice at Denny's, was particularly delicious with perfectly grilled vegetables. The kids loved their pancakes and French toast. We tried the Berry Vanilla Crepe as an alternative to pancakes, which wasn't the best choice, but it served as a decent option for those not craving pancakes. The restaurant is very spacious and conveniently located near I-5, making it a great spot for a quick stop during a road trip. The service was excellent, with Patty being exceptionally attentive. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated immediately. The kids' food came out pretty quickly and so did my meal. The manager also came over to ask us for our drink order at beginning. I ordered Uber eats. Part of my order was missing. The restaurant told me there was nothing they could do. Uber has apparently decided they no longer want to hear from customers, or issue refunds. I call it refers me back to the app and hangs up on me. In the app I go to my receipt to ask for help and it circles between 2 options neither which offers any help whatsoever. One option is to email myself another receipt. You go to the receipt and it and click on support and it sends you to the same exact menu where the ONLY option it to once again email yourself another receipt. I tried calling uber under the restaurant option and the guy refused help, contact his supervisor, or give me any other number to contact someone else at uber. At this point it is THEFT. Uber is stealing from you, and leaving you ZERO way to resolve any issues. It is theft which is a crime. Don't use uber eats unless you enjoy throwing your money into the wind. And Denny's won't help you either. All they have are I'm sorry's, and nothing we can do's. While THEY also benefited from this cooperate theft. THEY DON"T CARE EITHER! read more

She remembers our food orders, she is always pleasant and at the same time very efficient with our food and our coffee. The food has always arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. Was in town for a wedding and staying at a near-by hotel. And all I can say is Denny's never disappoints. It was this past Saturday morning around 9:30. They were pretty busy. Our server had a lot of tables and she was on top of it. I ordered a philly cheesesteak omelette with hashbrowns. My husband is trying to keep up his keto diet, so he got the build your own breakfast with the 4 choices. He got double eggs, bacon, and sausage. Our food came out in about 10 minutes and was good and hot. Even with customers leaving, she was getting more tables and she was fast and efficient. I waited tables all my life and I know a good server when I see one. She never missed a beat. The reason I didn't leave 5 stars... although my omelette was pretty good, some of the meat chunks were a bit tough. And it really didn't remind me of a philly cheese, but did have peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I used to live in Lacey and we would come to this Denny's every so often. It was always good. Came to this Denny's looking for some basic breakfast food that was inexpensive and decently appetizing. I've been to 12 different Denny's in various states all over the country. THIS IS THE BEST DENNY'S EVER!!! Mary was our server, super chill mama with fresh hand tattoos and the right attitude. The kids meals showed 5.49 and I was charged 5.99 each I was told that there are new prices the menus haven't came in. The waiters were very nice and took my order correctly. When my burger got brought to me it was made incorrectly which was no problem so i asked nicely to get it remade. When the "New" burger got brought out it was the same burger with the condiments just taken off. At this point my burger was cold and I could still taste the condiments that were on the burger previously. My wife's sunny side up eggs were also COVERED in grease which I've never seen before. For the love of God, save yourself the trouble and do NOT eat here. I tried to warn the guy walking in as I was walking out, and he didn't listen. Watch tomorrow's news and you'll probably hear about him, something about dropping off a barstool while waiting to be helped, or a mass outbreak of food poisoning after people being served undercooked food. First off, no one seemed to know who our waitress was. The lady who seated us seemed to think it was "Destiny" as she rolled her eyes, but low and behold, she came back (with half of the drinks we ordered) and said there was a "miscommunication" and that it was actually her. We asked her again for our drinks. She came back with a few more drinks, but still not all of them, to take our order, as I fumbled to keep my kid in the highchair they provided that had a broken seatbelt. Sigh.... We asked again for our drinks. Our food finally came out.... wrong. She brought my sandwich with no sides, followed later by the hash browns which were horribly undercooked and not browned. They complemented it with a bowl of white purée with black specks, which I apparently paid 89 cents for. We had no forks. We had no napkins. Our food was a greasy mess that I surely will regret eating later. We asked for refills of our drinks. Then, she came back to let us know she was "clocking out" and was asked to bring us our bill. Fine, whatever, but $36 for THAT slop??? You have GOT to be kidding. Luckily, some old ladies who were dining there because eggs were the only thing they could likely chew heard us chat amongst ourselves and offered up a 20% coupon. That brought our total to $29 - still outrageous for the crap we had to deal with. It's Denny's, pretty much the same as any other Denny's. Same food, same prices. It was clean, we were seated and helped right away. What made this location great was the service. Our server (I forgot her name, unfortunately) was on the ball. It was easy to get her attention if we needed something and she was so quick with our requests! Extra napkins, 10 seconds and they were on our table. This location is very hard to get to from the street, but I'm sure that's not their fault. I would, however, suggest a sign at the entrance, which is the entrance for the motel and gas station. There's no entrance right next to the building, which made it a little frustrating. I know, I know, it's Denny's...but let me explain. First off, we started off going to the Red Lobster across the street, that was almost empty yet had a ten minute wait(not a good sign that we would be getting good service). So I suggest (loudly so the RL staff could here clearly I was not impressed with a ten minute wait for seating in an empty restaurant) we go across the street to, you guessed it, "Denny's" on College St. All three of my rug rats and my better half were quite happy with my suggestion and literally ran out of RL for the car. Five minutes later we were enthusiastically received and seated at Denny's(1st Star). I made my two idiots (AKA our Boy's) go to the bathroom to wash their hands, and this is the only reason why I couldn't give 5 Stars on this visit. The bathroom smelled a bit off, but was clean, however one sink had only hot water and the other sink had only cold water (this needs to be fixed ASAP (loss of 1st Star). Ok ok ok, rant over. Time to sit at our large booth. Idiot 1 and Idiot 2 sat on either side of me, yet I had lots of elbow room (2nd Star). Shannon came over smiling and happy ( she wasn't even high on pot like 95% of the servers I've had in WA state) to introduce herself and take our drink orders, and get this, fill them and bring them back to the table in less than two minutes (Holy S#/+ fast service, what a novel idea), then immediately took our order. The rest of my gang placed their orders. I got a fancy looking cheeseburger and to test the wait/cook staff, I had a specific item (the flame broiled bell peppers) not included (bell peppers are the Devils food). Food order placed, cooked, delivered in about ten minutes, and get this "No Devils food to be seen anywhere near my burger"(3rd Star). Alright, now the big test, the "Taste". The Idiots destroyed their chocolate chip pancakes w/ bacon and sausage (I think they licked the plates). Our teen ate, I mean scarfed down, all of her French Crapes and eggs with hash browns (not quite sure if she tasted them). My better half had some sort of healthy looking chicken and broccoli / potato skillet (she usually leaves one bite for me, but not tonight). Then I bit into this glorious bacon, cheddar cheese, mushroom, hand formed, griddle fried, juicy magnificent burger on a toasted cheddar brioche bun and just the right amount of toppings. It was perfect and unexpected. Thank you, Shannon and the cook staff!!! (4th Star) Every bite of food was eaten tonight. Then I got the check, a whopping $38 for all five of us. Surprise the idiots got to eat for free because it was Tuesday. We walked out the door, full, happy, satisfied, and talking about how great the service was.
