Don't know what was worse being seated in the parking lot on cheapest furniture beside Tranquille Road and beside delivery pick up spot, the diaper rash dude who sat infront of me so I had to move to other side of table, the terrible service or the awful food. Supposed to be eggs bacon Benny poached medium. After a failed classic Benny poached hard as rock to dry and some cheap lunch meat slices pass as ham. They offered to pack it up for me and had to double request refund. My friend ate his because he was too hungry not to, but didn't like his for same reasons. Never going back there again. read more

I have usually been very leery about Denny's because of past experiences. I am up in Kamloops looking to buy a place to move to in the spring. I was starving and figured I would give it a shot. My waitress was Ashley, she was very sweet, attentive, and helpful. She knew the menu and was very good. If you go to this one have her make you a milkshake it will be killer good. The cook, Loren, knows how to cook eggs properly. I have had so many sunnyside up eggs that are inedible from being undercooked or overcooked. The bacon was the way I like it practically burnt and the eggs were perfect. Denny's best give these two wonderful ladies a raise. They are definitely an asset to the company. read more

Before I get into the reason I only gave two stars I want to say that the serving staff are wonderful and the only reason I come back from time to time. Unfortunately the value at this location has slipped to the point of disappointment. $17 without beverage should leave me full at a diner but the portions sizes are quite small. I honestly looked at what my boys got from their kids meals thinking I would have been better off ordering off the kids menu. It leaves me wondering if it a local thing. I was on business in Victoria and ordered the same thing from a Denny's there and my plate was filled. In Kamloops I could see the bottom of 40% or more of my skillet. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean enough, the coffee is hot and you will never run out before it is refilled. Just pack a lunch if you plan on going. read more

We walked in and things seemed ok at first, then as we were getting seated I noticed a smell of old fryer grease and the floor had goldfish crackers smushed into it at our table.. place was not clean even though we are in a pandemic and that should be standard protocol.. also there was a young girl apparently having a overdose in the bathroom according to some lady yelling at the staff to take care of before she left? we waited for our server to take our drink order and nobody came for about 15 mins. When she finally did arrive we still were not asked what we would like to drink, so we went ahead and placed our orders.. another 15 mins goes by and still no drinks.. we then asked a second time for our drinks thinking There's no way they could forget a second time... wrong lol.. it wasn't until 2 minutes before we got our meals then we got our drinks and still they forgot my beer I ordered... food was ok, one of our orders was messed up and after some explaining it was fixed quick. All in all I love Dennys but I will never again visit this location. read more

We have avoided Denny's for 5 years due to Poor service. Thought we would give them another try thinking they had enough bad reviews and had changed We entered the restaurant and err acknowledged however she was cleaning tables 7 min later another couple walk in to also be seated she was still cleaning tables many staff walked by us 4 standing there waiting to be seated with many available tables in our view. Another 6 min passes and the couple before us walked out and my Husband said let's go to. I was so looking. Forward to having a look at the menu and enjoy a meal I said no let's give her 2 more min. Well after 3 we left! We went to The While Spit. And we're seated right away and served our meal which was fantastic We will NEVER return to Denny's again !!! read more

Pleasant wait setvice. Food was good. No problem with accomodatimg a large group. Handled off menu orders and special requests just fine. However, it took forever for the food to come out. We were starving when it arrived and the kids had long past the point where the crayons were holding their interest. Absolutely no sense of urgency in the whole place and it seemed like it had bern that way for a long time. read more

I usually don't like "settling" for a Denny's especially when I'm so far from home as I figure there are so many other places to try. However, this is Kamloops, and in Kamloops there's not a ton of little mom n pop places. I was itchin for a good breaky, and looking for somethings at Canadian Tire which was close by. I know all Denny's aren't the same, but this place certainly redeemed the Denny's brand in my mind. The service was outstanding, they have free wifi, and the food was great. I didn't order much special, just a normal two egg with back bacon and toast with tea. Again, all standard but tasty fixins here. Red rose is the standard tea served here. If I was on my way through Kamloops again and wanted some breakfast, I'd certainly come back. I give this a 5 stars because the free wifi was an unexpected bonus. read more

Disappointed in food quality and portions. The hamburger came out like it was slid across the pan even though asked for a medium. Do not reccomend even in the best of conditions. The chicken wrap came out in a mess and the chicken melt came out not so melted and almost cool.the table seated next to us just sent back their food as well citing that it was horrible an elderly couple had to share a waffle. Avoid this place if you're in a rush over an hour wait time with moderate traffic inside. read more

I had the worst service ever lastnight. My eggs were completely undercooked (whites were jelly) and my server promised to bring syrup when she dropped off food, and after two reminders she still forgot. Kitchen failed, and server. read more

Had a really good senior's clubhouse but the side order of raw veggies had a bad piece of celery on it. Parking was good and the seats were comfortable and clean. Open 24/7, so that was very easy and convenient after a late meeting. read more

Not a great visit this time. Had eggs Benny, the bun wasn't toasted, the eggs and sauce were just warm, not hot. Service was slow. Must be a bad day! read more
