Passing through on our way to Lake Louise and found this gem. We are at the bar with Justin and the service was awesome. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meal and our wine selection. I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye.. both were very tasty and cooked to our liking (medium rare). Good vibe in what seems to a quite town and friendly service.

    Best steak ever

I had the blue cheese filet and holy crap! Honestly one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. Veggies were so so but damn that was a good steak!

I went in for the caesar because I've been looking for a decent one while on my road trip around Canada. I checked Yelp for local places while passing through Kamloops and the twisted caesar sounded like exactly what I wanted. The housemade bloody mix and Italian deli stick made me excitedly rush over for my first caesar in Canada. It was pretty good! Loved that it was a double, but while too much booze sometimes overpowers the other flavors in a cocktail, this one did it right. Just the right amount of hot sauce--left a burn but I wasn't dying. The deli stick had a piece of salami, mozzarella, pickled pepper, and an olive and was yummy. I was a happy girl. Although I was surprised not to find any salt on the rim when the menu I ordered from specifically said the drink had a salted rim? I love salted rims, but didn't want to ask them to redo it :( My boyfriend, on the other hand, opted for a simple gin and tonic, and it was not made right. His bartender didn't know how to make one and so he asked the other bartender. She said, "it's gin, tonic, and lime, right?" turned to my boyfriend and asked, "is that how you like it?" He said yep, and we waited for our drinks. A third bartender made the drinks. She put sour mix into it (what? no no no, go back, start over) and a lemon wedge (after just asking if he wanted lime). Needless to say, it tasted nothing like a gin and tonic. It was sweet (I guess their sour mix was mostly sweet?), and a little lemony, and hardly any gin could be tasted over the overwhelming sweet, lemoniness. A gin and tonic should taste almost bland in comparison, a lot simpler--just gin and tonic, really; like it's called. There was also a glass with someone's melted ice on our table that was there before we sat down, but no one ever took it away, although the bartender stopped 3 times to check on us and offer us food (though I specifically asked to be sat at the bar when I came in and explained to the person who walked me to the separate room and to the bartender that we're just here for a quick drink.) So, my twisted caesar was a 4, while my boyfriend's drink would be a 1. Let's say the average would be a 2.5, and since I can't rate a half point on Yelp and the dirty glass on our table was never removed, I'll round down to a 2.

They serve a good, relatively quick breakfast here. My favorite was the bruschetta eggs benny but all was delicious and cooked perfectly, including the kiddo food. Location is easy right at Four points hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed this for breakfast and will definitely go back when we stop through. Decent price for the quality and quantity. Service was good, the server took care of our kids, so thankful for her!

Cherry fig glace complimented the duck - Elk osso buco ($39.00) - special of the evening. Elk was a touch dry, scallop potatoes were delicious - Herb crusted Pacific red snapper ($31.00) - flaky and moist. It is welcoming and cozy, great for a date night, the patio area just off to the side is really well set up with hanging garden lights to create an outdoor garden experience. Service is prompt and our server was really nice! What we ordered: Crab cake with side salad - generous sized crab cake is mostly crab meat and just enough fillers to hold it together. Tangy dressing on the salad. Smoked beet salad was delicious with a hint of smoke flavour and toasted sunflower seed, pumpkin and sesame seeds add to the overall taste and textures. Mains: Cioppino was very fresh with a tomato based fish broth had a wide variety of seafood- shrimp, squid, mussels, salmon, scallops and fennel, carrots, potatoes and onions, served with grilled sourdough. Very well done! Breaded red snapper was a generous piece of fish pan fried and topped with romesco sauce, served over risotto. This was also served with green beans and carrots. Thinly sliced pickled green beans added a bit of tangy crunch. Everything was prepared with care and cooked perfectly! We might have to come back on our way home! Yum!

The ambiance was chill and the booths were roomy and comfortable but sadly that was probably the highlight of the meal. The server was ok but not overly friendly or attentive by any means. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, a pulled pork "bowl" and a small pizza. Nothing too crazy or over the top so we figured it was pretty simple and would be relatively fast. To our surprise it took a solid 40 minutes. We figured that one of the dishes may have taken a bit longer so we stayed patient, but when the food was served it was lukewarm nearing cold. The food was nothing special but maybe could have gotten another star had it been served hot. Sadly disappointed to be quite honest, the best part of the actual meal itself was the side of French fries that accompanied the pulled pork sandwich. Sadly, the menu prices definitely did not match the quality of food or rave reviews.

We were seated right away by a friendly host and our server who was super helpful throughout our visit. While we dined, the place got much busier and had a nice buzz to it. It had a distinct theme inside that aligns with its name and its selection of flagship brews. As I mentioned, we were hungry after a long drive so we obviously over ordered. We started with the Triple Threat Pull Apart Bread and the Crispy Pickles. Both were amazing! The bread was so soft and delicious and the pickles were savoury, but also spicy! Be warned! My partner ordered the Stuffed Yorkies because they weren't something we'd seen on a menu before. He loved them! The dish was three Yorkshire puddings stuffed full so it was also HUGE. I got the Flagship Mac and, honestly, for a place with multiple macs on the menu, it was remarkably unremarkable, unfortunately. Don't be discouraged, though! The quality of the rest of the food was so high that it made up for that tiny miss. If you're in Kamloops, check out The Noble Pig. They also have a great patio!
