It is probably like most Denny's, but the reasonable prices, friendly and quick service are winners every time.

Went for breakfast this morning. Service was fine - server very nice. We've been to this location for years, but lately, not very often. Their biscuits and gravy used to be delicious years ago. Now, the sausage they use for the gravy is cut-up link sausage. Hours later, I can still taste the sausage link flavor, ech. Crumbled pan sausage mixed with the gravy is how it is supposed to be made. I don't know why Dennys has screwed this up - or if it's a location thing. The location I went to in Houston was at 1960 at 290. They had served it to me one time before this years ago, and I didn't have it there since because it was so terrible. I thought it was a one-off and that they ran out of pan sausage. Now, I think it's just the way they are now making it. Awful. Husband's breakfast was fine- he enjoyed. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite and Kimberly was amazing. She was vey welcoming and attentive and answered all my questions about the menu. One of the other workers, i think her name was Carolina if I'm not mistaken was also very helpful. She refilled my drink a couple times and even had a small conversation with me. I was assulted on feb 25 9 to 9:30 pm. management did nothing, not even called the police, also, management treats their servers rudely, they go through servers like water. This resturant at 34th and 290, should be cleaned out. fire the management. Worst experience I've ever had at this place. Went for lunch. Just wanted something easy, and close. Been to this location a thousand time over the years. Even for Dennys it was bad. Waitress was fine tho. Management has no clue how to run this place. And the "food runner" wouldn't waste my labor dollars on her. Ordered the fried fish platter...the fish is actually liked. Wish it had been hot, Mac and cheese cold, but has skin on top from sitting under the lights. FF were cold also. Not even going to get into my friends food. I've said enough. Went to have breakfast here with the family for my daughter 10th birthday. Customer service was meh, food was horrible. Hasbrowns overcooked, I was not asked how my kids wanted there eggs cooked, I had to mention it. MiL ordered gravy and biscuits and that's what's she got thinking she was getting gravy with the meat. When asked about it they brought her a bowl of gravy and meat toss in top swimming in grease. Husband sausage was under cooked. It's hard to believe there were dirty tables and floors with the amount of people at the restaurant. It was a slow day and from being to the end it was not a pleasant visit. My husband and I ate at Denny's at 6920 FM 1960, Humble, TX yesterday and today. Our favorite waitress, Diana, knows what we want to order and always gives us a big hug. Today we ate 2 eggs over medium, biscuits (I had gravy with my biscuits), and grits with cheese on top. Diana knows that we always want coffee, water and extra napkins. She's family to us. Service and management are horrible. This store seems to never be able to hire capable employees, the only decent employees that seem to care about their customers are Elanna, David and the present shift manager Marcio. The others are ill mannered, they believe they are above everyone else and don't care. For the new franchise, this has to be disappointing. read more

This is absolutely hit or miss. Sometimes it is outstanding, great food, service, everything. Other times, and too often to give 5 stars, it is miss and the food is so-so, service is terrible and details are missed. My advice is to go in the morning, early. We came here to eat brunch. While the food was good our server never really checked on us. After 45 min I had to get up and talk with the manager before we got any kind of food or service at our table. The server was probably spoken to after that because he ran past our table with poor communication skills yelling "A-Ya-Goo" never really making an effort to communicate with us. LOL!! I've worked in the area for many years but I've only been into this Denny's a couple times over the years. When I do decide to drop by, however, the service has always been on point. The last time I stopped by, our server was super attentive and kept coming by to check in on my table. Really unusual for a Denny's where I usually expect the server to come by to take my order and to check maybe once or twice during my whole dining experience. The food is consistent with pretty much every other Denny's that you've been to. Prices are also in line. There's plenty of parking outside and the restaurant is clean. I was in 3/8/23 about 9am, noting because I didn't get my servers name, older tall Hispanic gentleman. I got the veggie omelette with fruit and toast. Everything was fresh, hot where needed to be, and refreshingly cool fruit. Sometimes we just need that classic dinner feel, it was very nostalgic with the staff super friendly and all getting along with each other. We have a new dennys at 99 and 1314 new caney tx. We have eaten take out 3 times. Once dinner and 2 breakfast and all different menu items. First! The food has been absolutely delicious and visually delicious. The service to get our order by phone and service at pick up has been spot on good customer service. We plan to eat once a week there to support the restaurant and it's employees. We really appreciate good customer service and a great cook. I wish I had taken pictures. read more

Pancakes taste like birthday cake batter. The hash browns are brown and crisp. The eggs are over medium, and sunny side up, the coffee is hot and the waitress comes to the table between smoke breaks.
