It was a little awkward for me, because had no expectations of what to expect. The meat was a little salty, and tasted good. The serving portions were of good size. He was so right. Superior Dairy is temporarily operating out of a small trailer while its classic old building across the street is undergoing renovations. That might not sound like the ideal setup, but the two young ladies working there certainly didn't let it get in the way of providing a great experience. Both were exceptionally friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to take care of us. I somewhat hesitantly asked whether they could make a pineapple milkshake. This was a deal breaker at Cold Stone when they looked at me like I was crazy for asking--I've never been back. Here, though, there was a brief "Hmm..." moment before one of the young ladies said, "We don't have a pineapple shake on the menu, but we certainly could add fresh pineapple to our vanilla ice cream." Sold! The result was an excellent fresh-pineapple milkshake--and exactly the kind of little bit of creativity and customer service that makes a stop memorable. It tasted so good on a hot day! The temporary location is actually quite pleasant, sitting alongside a beautiful park near Hanford's civic auditorium, with shaded outdoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream. There's some interesting history right there as well: The distinctive building behind the stand is the old Kings County jail, known locally as "The Bastille." And then there's the ice cream itself. I visited the Hanford Denny's on Tuesday at around 7:30 PM with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by something that happened in the dining room. Three individuals seated nearby were having what appeared to be a work related conversation. They were speaking loudly enough that our entire table could clearly hear what was being said. Because the conversation sounded like it involved the restaurant, we asked our server if they worked there. We were told they were the owner, a general manager from the Visalia location, and the new general manager for the Hanford location. Throughout the conversation, they spoke negatively about other managers who either still work there, or recently stopped working there. They mentioned two individuals by name, one being Franky/Frankie and a Casandra/ Sandra. They criticized their work ethic, made comments about their appearance, and spoke about them in a way that came across as very disrespectful. As customers, this made my family and me very uncomfortable. No guest should have to listen to management discussing employees or coworkers in such a negative and unprofessional manner while trying to enjoy a meal. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected poorly on the restaurant's leadership. The situation concerned us enough that we asked our server for the corporate contact information because we didn't feel comfortable bringing the issue to the management staff who were involved in the conversation. We genuinely felt this was something that should be addressed. Since then, I have contacted Denny's Corporate regarding this incident but have not received a response. Because I have been unable to get in touch with anyone about this matter, I felt it was important to share my experience publicly. This review isn't about a disagreement or poor service we simply believe that professionalism should extend to conversations held within earshot of guests. I sincerely hope this experience is taken seriously so that both employees and customers can enjoy a more respectful and professional environment. read more

This place needs to work on their time it takes to serve food. I understand that it can get busy at times, but waiting at the table for almost an hour and a half is ridiculous. I honestly dont even know why I waited that long. The waitress got us our drinks and told us the other waitress would be there shortly to take our order. It was getting to a point where we were getting desperate for our food and we insisted on having someone take our order. It was almost 45 mins that had gone by and no one stepped foot on our table. We asked and still the same response was given, "they'll attend you shorty". At that time we figured we should just get up and leave. That is exactly what we did, we obviously payed for our drinks and left. Not one employee said a word to us to show they are sorry for making us wait so long. Overall, this place is delicious and I love coming here all the time. I'm sure this has not only happened to me, but to others too. Last night my family and I dined at the Denny's in Hanford, CA and we had exceptional timely service from our server Brendon. Immediately after being seated we noticed a young man working hard, helping customers seated at table, booths and the counter. He was getting coffee, bringing out drinks, taking orders, clearing tables and delivering prepared food to his guests. This kid was working his butt off. We visit this location often as it is right off the freeway, easy to get to, offers a military discount and the staff are always friendly. Good job Brendon, keep up the good work that you are doing for this Denny's location. The Manager on duty this evening was Jessy - good job goes out to you as well for training your personnel correctly to ensure they are delivering top notch customer service in a timely fashion. My husband and I come to Dennys a lot as I am a hug fan of the chocolate lava cake and seasoned fries. Although we usually only order deserts and small sides, we are usually waiting at the door for a few minutes and after we have been sat, it takes a server about 5 minutes to come even ask what we would like to drink. The servers are all very friendly but MOST never seem to be working together. Last night we had Sarina Z as our server for the first time and our experience could not have been better. She was fast, friendly, and just overall good at her job. Not once did we have empty cups on our table. Not once did we have to ask for anything. It's like she knew what we needed and when LOL. We will definitely be coming back and requesting that Sarina be our server. Awesome job, girl! read more

Went in Monday morning to a packed house at Dennys but was quickly greeted by the hostess who sat us almost immediately. Despite how busy it was I was I was quickly served by a young man named Isaac he took my order and had my drinks back so quick I couldn't believe it considering he had so many tables also attending too. He and another young man were taking care of every table in there and working together. The other young man Juan came and delivered my food for me to get me my food hot he said and almost right after Isaac came back to make sure my food was to my liking and everything I asked for. My husband asked me out to breakfast this morning so we arrived at the Hanford Location. The server assigned to us was very nice and always asked if we needed anything. The food was taking a while but not nothing out of an ordinary busy afriday morning. My 1 year old began to be fussy because she wanted her meal. Server Isaac was kind enough to offer a snack for her while the food arrived. Isaac was also kind enough to make small talk to her and assured her food would be out shortly. Over all the experience was great and we will be nack to this location with out a doubt. Isaac sure does know how to make customers feel comfortable and you can tell he is a people person right away. God words can't explain how much I used to love Denny's. The only times I went to Denny's was at like 12:00 and I was a usual and it was just amazing. I would always order cheesecake and water. The cheesecake is absolutely magnificent and life changing. The water is really good too it's not AS cold as i'd like but everything else makes up for it. Also the fries are a side me and my fellow dudes and the fries are great and an amazing side for the cheesecake. Absolutely amazing. They did hire somebody named Brianna and I haven't gone back since. maybe i'll find out what times and days she works so i can go back when she's not there. My group plays d&d every Saturday. We occupy a corner booth and try to behave. None of our individual homes could accommodate the claustrophobics in our group. This is our go-to spot because of it^_^ . Usually our service is reasonable, but with so many other customers in the restaurant my cups often dont get filled. I understand, but tonight the service was exceptional, even with so many people, our server Brendan never let my cups go empty! My husband and I went to this location for a Saturday breakfast. Their outdoor dining set up is by far the best set up we have seen a Denny's offer during the covid-19 restrictions. You can tell they put a lot of thought and time into their outdoor area. And the food and service was great! Our server Jessy-E was on point with her customer service, coffee refills, and keeping our table clear of empty plates. And she was busy because all her tables were taken and this didn't seem to affect her good service. We frequently like to stop by Dennys when we are traveling. The food is usually acceptable and the prices are reasonable. Saturday we stopped by the Dennys in Hanford. We have noticed that this Dennys is always packed. What dally made this visit exceptional was our server, Angela. She greeted us quickly, took our orders and immediately served us our drinks. It's the people who make this Dennys great! having worked in the restaurant business I know how hard the work is and how awful the customers can be. The best part of our Visit on Christmas Day 2021 was Stephanie H Our server. She made our dining experience exceptional with her personality and care in delivering our food and so much more. This Denny's has without a doubt the best server I have ever had the pleasure of having. She is a server by the name of Nila and has been a server here for as long as I can remember and she has always been the best of the best. She is attentive, quick, nice as can be. Amazing service, and great food. While on the road, Denny's has become one of my favorite breakfast locations. The service of this particular location really stands out. City is the name of the server I've had the last two days. She is extremely polite, and although under the mask, she has an amazing smile shining through. We went to this location and they had one side of restaurant almost completely filled up. The other side empty. I asked if we could be seated in the empty side due to the noise level on the other side (I had a migraine). Theresa, our Server, was kind and spoke to her manager about allowing us to be seated in the other side. It was really kind of them to allow us to and am grateful. My server was Lynette and we were having a meal after visiting my husband in the hospital. I was so tired and stressed. Our server was so nice and understanding. She kept our drinks coming without asking, when they got low there was another sat in front of us. This was probably one of the best Dennys restaurants I've been too, the service was nice, the waiters were very friendly, and the food was amazing! The only thing I was upset about was that when we were seated at our table there were no silver ware, when our coffee got brought to us that's when we got or forks,spoons,and knives. Other than that everything was excellent. Our waiter Jaden was very polite and fast with anything we wanted. This evening me and my family were looking for a place to dine and we picked Dennys because 1) it was late and it was the closet thing to us and 2) because it looked empty. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Kiara and Johana. Johana ended up being our server and she was very lovely! This place wasn't very busy, but they have two self service kiosks for ordering menu items. They also have a large shelf in the back for pick-up using Grub-hub or Uber eats. I ordered off the Kiosk thinking it would be quicker. There was a wait, I saw patrons who ordered after me at the counter get their food before mine. I didn't make a big deal as the manager asked if I had the Santa Barbara burger and she assured me the cook was making it fresh. I ordered the Santa Barbara with Avocado and added bacon. I opted for fries. They carry Pepsi products which I was glad to see, but I gave up drinking soda so I opted for the Cucumer lime refresher they have. Oh that tasted so good. My burger arrived hot and fresh. It had plenty of avocado. I didn't realize how big this burger sandwich was. Did my stomach shrinK? I was only able to eat half. The lettuce was shredded so it was hard to keep that in tact with every bite. The onions were carmelized and the sourdough bread had plenty of mayo on it. This sandwich was made perfectly. I have zero complaints. My fries were cooked perfectly and I ate them with mustard and ketchup you can get at the condiment bar. The last time I had a habit burger, I had a Turkey burger. While ordering through the kiosk, I didn't see a Turkey burger as an option. Did it get removed? They restrooms were clean and you're able to wash your hands only without someone locking you out. Great job and kudos to the manager for keeping this place well maintained and operating. Parking: I came at 4pm right when all the high schoolers got out of school so this area was busy and the parking lot was full. I had to park in the parking meant for the tire shop. I didn't include a picture because I completely inhaled my food . By the time I thought about taking one, the plate was already gone. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. I ordered one of their pasta dishes (you really can't go wrong), and it was fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot in a way that made me pause mid-bite like "okay wait... this is REALLY good." Portions were perfect too. Now for my favorite part the drinks. I don't drink alcohol, but Alexis the bartender absolutely understood the assignment. She made me a spicy cucumber mocktail that was hands down one of the best drinks I've had. Refreshing with just the right kick 10/10. Service was just as good as the food. Aaron was my server and made everything easy and comfortable, checking in without overdoing it. You can tell the staff actually cares. I also want to shout out Ray and Cynthia from management, they helped create an overall welcoming vibe that you don't always get everywhere. The complimentary bread was hard, possibly old bread and their signature dipping sauce was so cold (normally served really warm). I again ordered the Chicken Piccata. The noodles were all stuck together, requiring me to use a knife to cut them. Everything else was good. My salad a a few pieces of wilted greens, which I picked out. The others in my party said their food was ok. We ordered the Truffle Fries for our appetizer. The fries were piping hot and flavorful. Service was ok, she was efficient and got our orders correct. The ambiance is casual and on this occasion, quiet. I'm so disappointed that Fugazzis missed the mark on this occasion.

The process was quick, smooth, simple with some small chit chat and more of a one on one experience that makes my visit more personalized. These ladies were very helpful, polite, and friendly and the sandwiches are always great. The shop was clean today as it always is everytime I come in. It wasn't busy at all and they always have little brownie desserts or chips and drink if you want to make a combo meal. The sandwiches are alwaya well worth the money with fresh cut vegetables and whatever else you may want to add on. I definitely recommend this place..

Walking in, my wife and I were promptly and cheerfully greeted by the young lady behind the order desk and with a smile. Alyssa is a great asset to the business and a wonderful person to deal with incoming ordering customers. She gave a great rundown on everything we asked about. My wife ordered a 6" Turkey, Avocado, sprout and Swiss cheese sandwich and I ordered the 8" brisket. Both lived up to their name - Delicious. Thin slicing of the brisket made a probably lower grade cut as tender as a high grade would be. Good move. Taught me how to prepare sandwich meats for the ease of chew. The dining room was clean and fresh looking. Prices were a bit high for what we received, but the food was good enough to lure me back for a second time to check out some more of the business. The bun on the top was cheap, it was stale and broke and crumbled on the top in half after the first bite. Fries weren't even fresh. Meat was the best part, but the meal overall was a letdown. This was definitely not normal for this place. The girls here always have everything running hot and fresh when you come get your mobile orders. Always great personalities and exceptional service.
