This was actually about a week ago but am just getting to my review tonight but The older lady who is the overnight waitress is extremely rude to coworkers and guests. I never saw any name tags so I don't know names. She doesn't keep her mask up when handling food, multiple times during our visit we witnessed her coughing openly on people's food and then taking it to the customers -disgusting- she brags loudly about getting coworkers in trouble. She forgot 90% of our sides, didn't bring out our appetizers until she brought out our food, we sat for 15 minutes needing refills on our drinks before we were finally able to flag her down while she coming in from her third cigarette break during our visit. Behind the counter she leans over peoples food and her sweater lays across the plates of food -disgusting- she reeks of cigarettes and stale beer Needless to say my friends and I will not be dining there again if she is the waitress, for the life of me I can not understand how this woman has a job in the food industry! The young lady working that night was very sweet and attentive to her tables, she even came by and checked on us a couple times after she saw us getting frustrated with our server disappearing! We will come back and be happy to have her serve us anytime! read more

I just had the most awesome dining experience at Denny's, all thanks to Genevieve, our fantastic server. From start to finish, she made our meal memorable! Genevieve greeted us with a big smile and took care of us like a pro. She knew the menu inside out and gave us some killer recommendations that totally hit the spot. Our drinks were always topped up, and our food came out quick and piping hot, thanks to Genevieve's attentive service. She even made some special tweaks to our order without any fuss. What I loved most was her upbeat attitude and treated us like we came home from a long day at work! - it just made our meal even more enjoyable. You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in giving customers a great time. In short, Genevieve rocks, and she's the reason I'll be coming back to Denny's. If you want a memorable dining experience, ask for her section. Thanks, Genevieve, for making our night! read more

On December 12 around 5 am my boyfriend and I wanted an early breakfast and decided on calling Dennys for a To Go order. So we called the closest Denny to our house which is the one on 51st and thunderbird. We called that location 3 times and stayed on the phone for over 30+ seconds each time and no one ever answered the phone. So we decided to call the second closest location (43rd and Peoria) and an amazing employee Brian answered the phone less than 10 seconds! He was so nice, friendly and easy to talk to on the phone. We didn't dine in but we will definitely be back just to have him as our server! You guys are lucky to have him as an employee! Go Brian!! Hopefully I spelled your name right and hopefully you will remember me by this! Will definitely be coming back to this location only because of him! read more

This, in my opinion, is one the BEST locations around!!! The food is prepared gracefully, presented professionally, the wait staff couldn't be more personable. They're polite and extremely courteous. I recently had lunch with my sister at this location. We don't get a lot of opportunities like this and when we do, this is the location we choose. We are NEVER disappointed. Our server, Kim, was SUPER attentive and friendly. Our glasses never reached half full and she was there with a refill. She never made us feel rushed or like we were a bother when we asked for something. So, if you're looking for great service and delicious food .... THIS I'd the location you're looking for!!! read more

I had a really bad experience about 3 weeks ago with the Denny's on Black Canyon Hwy. I decided to give Denny's one last try. So I went to this Denny's & luckily Genevieve was working! She was a very sweet, kind waitress. She was very attentive the whole time I was there. Usually I get one cup of coffee because the servers don't come back around after my 1st cup, but she came around even when I was done & ready to leave. She turned my whole outlook on this place around! I definately will be coming back on her shift. She is a real asset to your company. You need more servers like her. Thank you Genevieve! Give that girl a raise!! read more

I come to this location every week, mostly weekends, w/ Dulce or Chad. I don't even know the waiters name from today. My son birthday was today and he wanted pancakes so Today was the first time on a Thursday and I have to say the service was horrible! My 7 year old ordered his food upon waiter getting our drink orders he didn't get his food until my mother and I were almost done w our food and I ordered a 6oz steak w eggs :/ .. my eggs were horrible steak was dry my toast was burned! The strawberry lemonade was awful. The waiter did remake my egg and toast. But overall it was just not great! read more

Love stopping at this Dennys for a great lunch or late night meal. The food is always hot and tasty. The crew is great, cares for their customers. Some Reviews I saw were negative, seems like ppl mainly write reviews when they dislike something. But y'all should give them a shot. Every time I come each server has showed me they want to give me a great diner experience. They give me what I ask. Managers are friendly, Eric is calm and checks up on floor to make sure things are running smoothly. Fave apps are the Nachos and the season fries!! read more

My friend and I went to the Denny's on Peoria and 43rd Ave for dinner and had a great experience with our server Brandi. She was prompt and made the modifications I needed to my meal, which sometimes can be hard for me to ask because of the response I might get from a sever but she was kind, understanding and assured me that it was ok. I felt at ease and enjoyed every morsel of my meal. I will look forward to returning and hope to have Brandi my server again! Brandi you Rock!!! read more

Went back for another great burger. If you havent been to Denny's in awhile go for the burger. Anyway, my daughter spilled her strawberry lemonade everywhere. Aurora C was our server and she was phenomenal. She moved us and our stuff and got the booth we messed up all cleaned up without making me feel awkward at all. And I have pretty high anxiety, so that is really saying something. Where did servers like this woman go? Truly a Saint. You are lucky to have her. read more

Yesterday I went to this location at Dennis and i got a great service. Maddie my server was super sweet with me and my family. she was always checking how we were and if we needed something. After a long day, came in with the fam so I wouldn't have to cook dinner :) We were greeted by the cutest waitress. She was nothing but smiles and had a great sense of humor joking with our family. The food came fast and tasted great. Drink refills were brought before we even asked for them . . . a huge plus for my hubby. Thank you Abby for the laughs and great service! Hannah D. Stopped in to have a quick lunch with my brother and the service was amazing, our server Aurora was always on top of things to ask us if we needed anything else and was always nice and polite with us. It was also a pleasant surprise to see that their manager Mike was out and about helping with day to day operations with a very outgoing and friendly attitude towards staff and customers. read more

If you like the smell of trash or sight of hair in your food then this is the place to be. Seems like every time me, my friends or family dine here we ALWAYS happen to encounter a problem. This place needs to better educate their employees on customer service, spray some febreeze and invest in some damn hair nets! With that being said, I will never step foot in this place again. read more

Pretty slammed when we came in for dinner but nonetheless the server was very attentive and food was delicious. Bourbon chicken skillet is personally my favorite and I don't mind making the longer drive to this location in exchange for the exceptional service they provide.
