Berry Stuffed French Toast
Brii W.

I visited this location on my first trip to the United States from Canada, and was very impressed with the service, especially in contrast to many of the Denny's locations I have visited in Canada! There wasn't a table available when I arrived, as it was early and I happened to arrive in the middle of the breakfast rush, but they were very prompt in seating me. The waitress was friendly and quick to come take my order, and I did not have to wait long at all for the food/drink. The lighting/temperature of inside the restaurant were quite pleasant, and the food was delicious! I get the Berry Stuffed French Toast frequently when I go to Denny's, and it certainly did not disappoint. The staff were young and hard working, with excellent problem solving skills from what I had observed, I was happy to leave them a good tip, especially with the always reasonable Denny's pricing. It was an excellent experience and I would be happy to return someday!

Slice of French Toast

I ordered late night around 12 for me and my Gf and the food was terrible. I got French Toast and it was leaking egg yolk from not being cooked completely , and my GF got pancakes and it was leaking uncooked batter a complete waste of time and money the cook there should be fired immediately for this completely disgusting!!

Looking for a quick place to stop for breakfast on our last day in Philadelphia. My Wife found the…read morecafe address on line and it was easy to get to from our hotel by the airport. We were met by the friendliest and most hospitable young lady I think I have ever met in a restaurant. She talked to every other customer in the place as if she knew them, which I thought was very impressive. The food was very good, the peppers and onions made the home fries. When finished we had a chance to talk with the waitress and she was a complete delight to speak with. She offered to let us put a pin in our home town of Omaha Nebraska on the U.S. map that was on the wall that had several similar pins from other customers. My wife and I agree that this stop was probably the BEST! part of our whole trip to Philadelphia.

Once inside Miller's cafe is a clean and organized restaurant. Although the furniture is dated and well let's just say 'inexpensive' it's not broken or damaged. The walls are nicely decorated with a farmhouse feel but modern items from places like Bed Bath and Beyond or Home Goods. The carpet was clean not soiled with food stains or the last person sitting at your tables meal. This place is really cute and appears to be an all female staff. Okay GIRL POWER! As for my experience there is a large breakfast menu and lots of daily specials. I went with the PHILLY style cheesesteak with eggs on a nice soft roll but authentic cheesesteak style. This came with home fries casserole, potatoes with fried onions, fried green peppers and melted cheddar cheese. My server multitasked cleaning, serving etc., all with a pleasant demeanor. My meal was a great value for $7.95. At the end I added a Pepsi I was a little disappointed when I was told it was fountain soda but not to worry it had the necessary kick. I had a very good experience and I'll be back very soon!

I love a diner. I'm originally from the northeast but live in SC now and we just don't have the…read moresame kind of diners that I had before - don't get me wrong, I love a Waffle House but it's not the same. This was a really great spot. My coworker and I were over in North Jersey for work but flew in and out of PHL rather than facing Newark. In order to beat the crazy construction traffic outside of Philly and to have a buffer for whatever TSA nightmare we were going to face, we got back near the airport early... like 4 1/2 hours before our flight kind of early. I wanted breakfast outside of the airport so I found this spot while he was refilling the rental car. I got the French toast with homefries. The french toast was perfect, with just a tiny bit of crisp in spot from the griddle. Same with the homefries. I would have liked a bit more seasoning while they were cooking, but a bit of salt and pepper and I was good to go. My coworker got the big breakfast but subbed out the homefries for corned beef hash. While I'm not a fan of corned beef hash, it looked exactly like how my mom and grandfather like it, with a little bit of crisp to it. The pancake was huge and he said his over medium eggs were cooked exactly like he hoped they would be. Now I just need to plan out my flights so I can come get breakfast here again and try one of the sandwiches, or omelettes, or maybe get French toast again...

After an early morning drop-off at the airport, we ducked into Folcroft Diner for breakfast. More…read moretimes than not I order something non-breakfast-y for my first meal of the day. Today was no exception. Their grilled chicken sandwich was not what I hoped for. On the plus side, it was a generous portion of chicken, most of which I took home. As a negative -- at least for me -- I like a flat filet, with grill marks. This was "chunky," rendering it clumsy to eat. It simply didn't taste grilled at all. And the chicken was dry. T ordered a country omelet that was filled with breakfast meats, cheddar and peppers. Though not my thing, I agreed it was pretty good. His grits were creamy, buttery and delicious. Coffee is strong and served in the old-fashioned heavy mugs that I favor. Our server was friendly. ("Where are you from?" she asked, picking up on my Brooklyn accent.) I asked if Greek lemon soup is ever on the menu. She said that the owners are Turkish, then gave me a rundown of their specialties, all of which sound delish. (Alas, no avgolemono.) I wouldn't hesitate to return to Folcroft. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is clean -- as pointed out by another Yelper AND our waitress. If you order the right thing, you'll no doubt be pleased.

Her 5-star service was absolutely top-notch! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. My fiancé ordered the steak and eggs, cooked just right and full of flavor, while I had the Old Timer's Breakfast with fried apples and sausage. Everything was delicious! And of course, you can't forget the warm, fluffy biscuits and that amazing sausage gravy; truly the best part of any Cracker Barrel meal! You can never have a bad meal here, and with service like Savannah's, this visit was one for the books.

I'm not big on sending food back so just finished half of it. Got the grandpa's country breakfast platter and the gravy was bland...hashbrown casserole was salty. Server asked us what kind of cheese on the eggs and we assumed it came with the platter but we were charged an additional $1.49 for a slice of American cheese. I would understand .49 charge but 1.49 is steep for one slice of cheese. The steak and grilled chicken platter was good for the most part...steak was also overcooked...we asked for medium...should've asked for medium rare... The weekend daily platter was fried chicken and it was just okay...sad to say but popeyes is better.
