I really didn't appreciate the management at this location when I went in on Monday 5/30/17. I was eating with my family and noticed that some plates broke in front of the restaurant manager. Mind you, the brush and dust pan was right next to her. She goes and pulls one of the bus boys from the other side of the restaurant to drop what he's doing and clean the mess as she watched. The bus boy had a great attitude though kudos to him. He was busting his ass in there but he did it with a smile on his face so I asked the cashier his name and she said it was Joseph. I come here about once a month for breakfast. The staff is always friendly. Meals are reasonably priced. Food is served quickly, with quality. The staff always seems to go out of their way to surprise and delight the customer. Taking a coffee to go is never a problem. Great family atmosphere or if your working on the go bring in a laptop and connect to the wi-fi. They never have any issue. I am a fan of Denny's in general. They've got a great business where food and service quality are consistent across their fleet of restaurants. read more

I've been here after church. It's been a pleasant experience. To the comment below and not to agree with either but I think it's fine cooks listen to music, any music of their choice excluding cursing or just yelling. They are busting their butts to please every customer to hopefully enjoy their food. Maybe just a little lower would be appropriate but not be completely removed from allowing them to listen. My family and I have been enjoying this Dennys location every Sunday for the past several years. I am a very observant costumer especially when it comes to the handling of costumers food. Hygiene is very important, as far as the waiters and waitresses and cooks go. It is their responsibility to ensure their hair is up, uniform is presentable etc. Today was slightly different. Each time I come in i notice this one particular waitress working really hard and going above and beyond to ensure her costumers are taken care of. What threw me off were her long colorful nails. If nails like that are allowed to be worn while handling food, I recommend she wears gloves. The hands are exposed to plenty germs and bacteria, and as customers we've excepted that by the assumption that those who are handling the food are keeping their hands clean. Nails that are nearly touching the food or even hovering over the food is not a good practice in the waitressing field. Other than that keep up the good work. And good job on professionally handling the small disturbance this morning. read more

Really disappointed with restaurant 7715, 2379 Compton Ave, Corona, CA. This is the second time I go back. I went back because I bought a fundraiser card and I had to use two coupons. Unfortunately this second time the Manager Alexis decided to question the coupon and not in a nice way, including not honoring it. Very unprofesional and rude. It seems she did not know how to apply the discount because the first time around the cashier did not have any challenges to apply the discount. I wonder what kind of training they receive? I wonder if this is why I stopped going for a long time and why the restaurant seem dead when my son I were there. Not to mention that the server decided to add additional fees to my receipt, he charge each item seperately in the mean when if he would had charge the meal the check would have been correct. Are employees now trained to charge more to make up for the losses the company is having? This is the closest Dennys to my house but I am starting to wonder if I should find a new place to eat breakfast. The cooks have their Spanish music so loud I can't read my paper or enjoy my food. Didn't even greet me when I approached the cashier and when she saw me she continued to fold her napkins. How much attention does it require to fold napkins? To be honest I'm a ranch guy I love ranch and never once have I been to a place that's runs out of ranch. She gave us a bowl and told us it was the last one then told another table the same thing but said we used the last of our ingredients. How in the world do you run out of a popular dressing. She is just being lazy and not making it or they actually ran out which both don't make sense. And that's not all they ran out of ice cream. Explain to me how this is possible. They took our order and served our food very fast! Everything was correct and everything tasted delicious! They even served mac n cheese & fries at 7:30 am! The only reason why I took off a star is because they did not give my friend his refill on the all you can eat pancakes. This is usually the Denny's I visit with my parents, its local and close to where they live. The pros of this place are that it has plenty of parking, we sat down quickly (but we had a small party), and our waitress was nice. I would say the downfalls are that the food took a little longer than expected, we also had three of our four dishes first and about four minutes went by, maybe 5, before the last dish came out. The food was what you can expect for Denny's, and the waitress only checked in on us once after we received our food and she dropped off our milk. It's a Denny's guys, if its local, have it. I do have to say that they must have remodeled or something because it's really nice inside. read more

The worst restaurant I've ever seen. Arriving late night, our party of 8 was seated immediately. In relatively short order our drink orders were taken. That's the end of the good part of this review. 25 minutes later we still had not been asked for our food orders much less for refill on our drinks. Finally the waitress arrived and told us that she'd be right back with us to take our order. 15 minutes later, I had to chase her down on the other side of the restaurant to let her know we were still waiting. She was taking someone else's order, so I complained a bit. She snapped at me and told me she'd be right there. I asked for a manager and was informed that there wasn't one. In the meantime, back near our table, several other people had been seated and given their orders. When she finally arrived to take our order I was so disgusted I did not order anything. The rest of our party ordered however. When the first of our food finally arrived (one plate a full 5 minutes before any of the others), we still did not have any silverware. After the second dish arrived, I complained about the lack of silverware and that our food was coming out in bits and pieces. She again snapped at me. Finally the last of our food arrived; still no silverware. The bus girl eventually arrived with silverware, bawling. My only assumption is that the waitress had chewed her out for not having the silverware at our table. As my party began to eat, several people complained that their order was not correct. At this point no one was really willing complain any further; they just lived with what they got. To top this all off, I went into the restroom to find a young man vomiting in the sink. When we left, I once again visited the restroom; the sink was completely full of vomit and not one thing was being done about it. There is only one way to sum up our experience: ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE.. Incompetent waitress, management (at least due to lack of it), and most probably ownership. No one expects Denny's to be spectacular. However, we should expect an effort at service and at least some level of professionality. The amateurism displayed by the staff at this Denny's made this the worst dining experience of my life. I urge everyone to boycott this location. read more

It's the closest Denny's to my house, about 15 seconds driving distance, and I'm usually never there anytime before 10 PM. I feel weird eating at any Denny's when the sun is still out. I'm a bit of a night owl and people from Corona would know that as far as late night dining is concerned, our options are very limited. I'd estimate that I've been here about 30+ times, and usually the service is pretty good. Like I said, I'm here late at night when the restaurant is almost empty, so that might have something to do with it. I think they've probably screwed my order up once or twice, but I can't really remember any specifics so I doubt they were huge mistakes. It's a typical Denny's that I've frequented over the past 15+ years and it's always come in clutch. read more

It seems to me that Denny's is going DOWN hill. I use to love coming here but recently it doesn't matter what Denny's you go to they all seem to be lacking good service. Waiters/waitress's get orders wrong, or it takes forever for your food to come out. No one seems to care anymore. No one is friendly in this particular Denny's. Seems like the employees are there to hang out instead of work. I guess this is the new generation of kids. They only care about their social status. Please I hope someone from Denny's reads these. I find it sad that my first Yelp review will go toward a terrible restaurant experience, but there's no other way to describe it. Our server didn't look thrilled to see us as we walked in the door. When we sat down we were warned service would be slow because she was the only server there. So we waited. Then we started looking around. Everyone seated in the dining room was waiting. No one was eating anything. Nothing was coming out of the kitchen. The server was hidden in the back for the twenty minutes we sat there. The man I assume was the manager didn't take a single order or bus a single table despite being as short staffed as was claimed. We left without even our drink order being taken, along with at least four other tables. Not planning on going back. read more

Being it is Denny's what can you really say about it. The food is Ok and on par with what I use to eat at the chow hall while in the military. The service was good but my wife did complain about the state of the restroom. In her words, it was dirty and unkept with paper towels and toilet paper all over the place. I also noticed no one bussed tables while we were there even though the place was not busy. With the dirty restroom and no one bussing tables, it seems to me the employees take no pride in their jobs. Otherwise, if you are looking for a cheap meal that doesn't taste bad then Denny's is a good choice. If you are looking for the 5 star treatment, then look somewhere else. read more

Got here at 7:15pm tonight. Didn't get our drinks until 7:40pm. Under staffed. The poor 2 servers were trying to handle the entire place. The management NEVER staffs enough servers at this location. I have walked out of this place at least 3 times before. Thought I would give it another try. ABSOLUTLEY no better!!! As a I was writing this 2 parties walked out. They asked for management, but there aren't any managers on site. The ONLY reason I stayed is because my 9 year old granddaughter beg me to stay so she could have a milkshake.
