I decided to give the dine-in experience here a try since I was craving french toast for dinner. Our waitress was very nice but messed up our order. My companion ordered a French Slam which is supposed to come with 2 slices (4 triangles) of toast and was given 1 slice. Good thing we analyzed (lol) the online menu before arriving so we knew exactly what we should be receiving. He also ordered a side of red potatoes and was given the standard shredded hash browns. Mistakes happen but the waitress dropped the ball, the cook dropped the ball and having 2 negative experiences within a couple months means I won't be back. Looking at other negative reviews, I'm compelled to believe the manager doesn't take the time to read reviews to improve or reads them and just doesn't care. Either way, they've lost a customer. It's a shame too, considering it's in a nice area. I'd rather dine at the funkier location on McKinley. read more

Ok. Here goes. In the past eight years, I been here five times. Most times, it not good, matter fact 4 out of 5 times. Usually the service is slow... we're taking snail crossing the road slow. And the food was consistent... which is "OK." 2 stars for service and 2 and half STARS food. Usually the pancakes' eggs and sausage I like. DENNYS and I, we have so much history growing up, it's like eating a piece of memory pie even though it's not the best or the greatest, it's feel right. It's the same stuff from what I remember when I was a kid and that's why I keep going back to Denny's. The food not bad, the value for the money is good. The service is a work in progress, especially at this Dennys. every time I go in there's a new server and hostess. Good customer service, good food quality, better than most dennys I have been to! New menu, lots of new dishes which is a refreshing change. Bacon menu is fanastic, jalapeno bacon very spicy. Prime rib dishes are a great option, the prime rib melt was to die for! Hash browns made perfect! Bluberry smoothie was delish! Will have to come back and try all the prime rib dishes and their mango smoothie. Even have egg white omlettes, excellent! read more

Unfortunately stopped here after a Christmas recital. Thought we would grab a quick bite and some dessert. 10-15 Minutes for a drink order another 10-15 minutes before the drinks came out and then we received our food in a slow progression over the next 20 minutes. What happened to this Denny's? My family and me have been here three times in the past month and a half and none of the food was good. On weekends the service is very slow and they consistently get our orders wrong. The manager is always quick to remove the mistakes from our bill, but at that point the experience is ruined. We gave them the benefit of the doubt because we have been eating there for over 10 years, but we are done now. Lots of small businesses to choose to eat at. Sad. read more

our HOA social Committee coordinated with the Denny's Manager (Compton Ave. Corona, CA) to cater our Easter Event scheduled for March 24, 2018. We wanted a menu of Pancakes, Sausage, Bacon and scrambled eggs. We had a pickup time of 8am and when we arrived at 745am The Manager (ROXANNE) and her staff were already prepared for our arrival. They loaded our vehicle with 15 large pans of food. She provided us with flatware, whipped butter and a gallon of maple syrup. Let's just say everyone, especially the children ENJOYED the delicious breakfast. THANK YOU for making this event come together in GRAND SLAM fashion. read more

As we ordered our drinks SARAH! went to the back and asked if anyone has helped us and one of the girls says "No, but I saw them." As if they saw us but didn't find it necessary to come help us or ask for drinks & then Sarah goes to the back again and calls us "impatient" and then gives an excuse that she wanted to "rush the new girl" to help us that's why she told her we were being impatient. Fucking stupid excuse for that behavior. If you don't want to wait on tables then you shouldn't work there. But after we let the managers know and they made sure we had a better experience which I appreciate. read more

This location of Denny's is so much better so far! The manager Roxanne was extremely nice, politely talked to me and my Grandmother with a smile, and had a wonderful conversation as she seated us to our table! Then, she had our best waitress, Janet, served us with her best service to us with her best personality, her great smile, and she was definitely on point by kept making sure we needed anything! She was so incredible, extremely sweet, and she did such a marvelous job that I highly recommend everybody that's hungry to go to this restaurant, and have Janet be your waitress for her satisfied service! She makes me want to go back and have her be my waitress again! She deserves a big shoutout! We went to this Denny's for the first time last week. When we entered we were greeted right away and also seated right away at a clean table with menus in hand. The restaurant was not real busy but had at lease 20 customers. It was clean and looked inviting. The person that greeted us was very outgoing and personable. She took our drink order and returned promptly. Upon returning she took our order right away. Our food was made quick and brought to our table as soon as it was up. When our food arrived it smelled good, looked good and tasted yummy. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Great job. read more

Time and again this Denny's location has let me down. The service is downright awful. Every single time I have visited this establishment, I have been faced by many issues that I will now list: -Waitresses usually have an incompetent attitude. -Water is never refilled. -The food I receive is often different from what I ordered, often drastically. (i.e.: A friend of mine asked for 4 bacon instead of 2 bacon and 2 sausages with her french toast slam, and received 4 sausages; Another friend of mine found a mystery onion in her pancakes.) -I often wait an hour or more for my meal. -The syrup bottles are inadequate for pouring syrup. (See picture) -On my last visit, my party received all of our food, and then received silverware about five minutes after. Our food was cold. -A table behind us remained uncleared for our entire visit. -Where are the napkins? My hands are greasy. -The bathrooms are repugnant. In conclusion, I am appalled by the disrespect, bluntness, discourtesy, impertinence, and vulgarity I've been faced by the the employees of this establishment. read more

Stopped by this morning for a coffee and a stack of pancakes. My waitress Mayra was very sweet, fast and kept the coffee refills coming. Despite being the only waitress covering the floor at that moment she was very attentive with everyone of her customers and kept a smile on her face. She's the reason I come to this Denny's. I wish I can give 0 stars that's how bad our experience was! My best friend and i go and everything is fine at first. Get our appetizer (but she forgot to get us marinara and ranch) and drinks and when our waitress asks my best friend if she wants a refill she is gone for like 20 minutes and it takes me to get a different waitress to ask for a refill and our sauces. Than when she took our order she put it in as to go and it had been sitting in the front for a while and they were gonna serve it to us after it had been sitting out for like 20 minutes. There are some of us that are called "regulars", meaning we come here often. I see the same grandparents bringing their grandchildren, retired people spending time drinking coffee and reading their books, doctors getting out of their shifts, construction workers and students from the local high schools coming in day in and day out. As much as I go there (6x/week) I have never experienced any rudeness, inattentiveness or disrespect from anyone there. As a matter of fact my family is shown nothing but kindness especially from one of our favorite waitresses, Mallory. I have seen many managers, waitresses/waiters and busboys come and go throughout the years but some of the Yelp comments I have read, especially the negative ones, seem very abnormal to me. The fact that these people are here to serve us doesn't mean we need to treat them with disrespect and that's what I have seen over the years at this place. People walk in with bad attitudes or wanting free food and take it out on the people trying to serve them. I've been coming here since the doors opened and not once have I had any complaints about the team at Denny's. Has my food been perfect every time? No, but mistakes happen and they correct it every time without hassle or moans. I gladly rate this Denny's with 5 stars and I wish I could rate some of the people that come in...because I would rate them with zero stars. Keep up the great work Denny's...! read more

Got there and they didn't seem busy. It took a while to get our shakes then came dinner... My sibling wanted the jr. grand slam with eggs and he received hash browns instead. My sister wanted a plain salad, just lettuce and ranch. This salad had other veggies in it which seemed to be a pre-made salad, which would've been nice to know before hand. Both of the kids pancakes were burnt and crunchy with no syrup on the side. My fiancé and I ordered another shake and it took forever to get the second one. When we got the second shake, it was in our cup from earlier. We didn't get a clean cup which grossed us out because how do we know it was our cup and not someone else's? We did not drink the shake. Last but least, our server did not check on us and did not give us the kids eat free deal on Saturday night. She had to "check with the manager"; there was a big sign right when you enter. Were they trying to cheat us to see if we noticed?? Not cool. It shows that you guys were cheating us and probably trying to cheat the older folks in the restaurant with their grandchildren as well. Terrible experience. I usually enjoy going to my local Dennys for some food when I'm in the mood for something delicious. The food I received tonight was great. But the service I received was anything but. I placed a very large to go order for my food and suaces and once I went to pick up my order I noticed that the sauces that I requested were not adequate enough to go with my large order so I politely asked the manager on duty Roxanne Jimenez for some extra sauce. But instead of a simple yes of course let me help you, no I received attitude from her and her rolling her eyes at me as if I was asking for an entire new order of food. Once she finally decided to go and get the sauce she only gave me miniumal sauce and even once I thanked her she didn't even reply how rude of a reaponse from a general manager. read more

Food may be adequate but there is obviously a coffee shortage in Corona. Getting coffee refills was like pulling teeth. Once the meals got there, service was over. When i walked in the host told me "wait " and not greeting me then got a to go order which i was fine with because she was ahead of me. She came back and i already stood by the door waiting 5 minutes and then a group came up before she came back and she helped them first. When she finally seated me and my daughter, another two party guest was sat next to us and we already were seated for a few minutes. The host went up to them first because the waitress was busy and asked them for drinks first and ignored that fact i was even here. Very poor service today. My favorite dish is there club sand which with seasoned fries. However, there server Juana is amazing which makes it a plus. She provides each guest with a warm smile and makes us feel right at home. 05/24/2017 at 1am on my way home from work tried calling to place a pick up order... hence the work tried. After 3 attempts of no one picking up the phone, I assumed they must have been so busy running around dealing with there tables. In correct. I called as I walked in to make sure I had the right number, I did. One girl working, and one table. The young girl was very nice. She came out from the back to greet me and take my order. As I sat waiting I hear the phone ringing and no one to pick it up. Maybe they need to put the ringer on loud or get a new phone. I'm a nurse and just got off a long shift, now to wait even longer when all of this could have been prevented by just picking up the phone... it's the little things that matter the most. 3 starts for the girl being nice and the food came out quick. read more

This was the 3rd time I have visited this location and the last time I do. It did not take long for them to seat me but it took about 15 mins to get my drink order. I ordered what i wanted to eat while i ordered my drink and my salad still came to me late. My avocado chicken Cesar salad was not as appetizing as the picture. My bacon came out super greasy, barely any chicken, and they forgot my dressing. I got my food, still no drink. It wasn't busy at all at this location around 10pm. I do not recommend coming to this location. Bad service with bad food I could barely eat. read more
