We ended up staying for hours just enjoying the vibe of the brunch crowd and the soccer fans. Food & Drinks: LOVED! The Mimosa Flight (~$9 per drink): We shared this between two people and it comes with 8 different flavors! It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. I watched them make them, and it's a majority of champagne with just a splash of juice. Chilaquiles: This has become my absolute favorite breakfast dish lately, so I try it everywhere. It was very yummy here! It comes with eggs, and I added steak for some extra protein. The presentation was beautiful, too. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. She said it was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and I noticed they have a changing table available as well, which is always a great plus. Overall, I had a really good time eating, drinking, and talking here. They took our drink order 20 mins from when we got there. A total chaos and a complete failure on the service of the restaurant especially on my birthday breakfast that was ruined. It's because of this I got very familiar with Swedish Crepes or Pancakes, as some might call them. I don't know if they were ever my favorite style of pancakes but they were always an option on those rare occasions I wanted something with more fruit than blueberry. Tara always appreciated me making an effort to broaden my perspective on what a good pancake or crepe constituted. That being said, I hardly ever run into great Swedish crepes. Usually the butter or compote is sub-standard, and I usually feel like I should've gotten something different. Silver Dollar Pancake House makes some majestic Swedish crepes. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.

Easy 5 stars. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the main issue was the customer service. I ordered a Diet Coke when we sat down, and it took about 15 minutes to arrive--even after I asked twice. The bigger issue was with our meal. My wife and I specifically asked for the gravy to be served on the side, but when our food arrived, the gravy had been poured all over it. We explained the mistake to our server, and they took it back to have it remade. Another 15 minutes or so later, we finally received the replacement meal. By that point, the other couple at our table was almost finished eating. Our server mentioned that he had only started working there the week before, so I don't want to put all of the blame on him. He was clearly still learning. However, this is also where I would expect the restaurant to step in when something goes wrong. What really bothered me was that when we received the bill, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of what had happened--no apology, no adjustment, nothing. Mistakes happen, and we weren't looking for a free dinner. But when a simple request is missed, your meal has to be remade, and you're left waiting while everyone else at the table is eating, a little acknowledgment from management would go a long way. Overall, the food and drinks were enjoyable. Unfortunately, the delays, the service issues, and the lack of any recognition of what happened took away from what could have been a much better experience.

1 STAR -- BUG IN MY FOOD, DISMISSIVE STAFF, DISRESPECTFUL OWNER, AND DISTURBING COMMENTS ABOUT EBT…read moreCUSTOMERS I visited GoodFellas Cafe today, and this was hands down one of the most appalling dining experiences I've ever had. What happened at this establishment raises serious concerns about food quality, customer service, and, most importantly, the attitude of the person running the business. During our meal, I discovered what appeared to be a bug in my food. Naturally, I brought this to our waitress's attention, expecting some concern, an apology, or at least an effort to address the situation. Instead, the waitress responded with absolutely no empathy or concern. She simply stated that she had no control over the situation and would get the owner. Her tone and demeanor were completely dismissive, as though finding a possible insect in a customer's meal was nothing worth being concerned about. Unfortunately, things only got worse when the owner arrived. Rather than acknowledging our concern or making any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation, the owner insisted it wasn't a bug and told us that if we didn't like it, we could leave. But what he said next was even more disturbing. The owner proceeded to tell us that he wasn't there for "give outs" and made comments about not accepting EBT customers for this very reason. Let me be perfectly clear: We never presented an EBT card, never mentioned government assistance, and never asked for free food or money. We were paying customers who simply brought a legitimate food-quality concern to the restaurant's attention. Why would an owner immediately associate a customer complaint with EBT recipients or people looking for handouts? The assumptions and apparent prejudice behind those remarks were astonishing. What should have been a simple opportunity to address a food complaint turned into an unnecessarily hostile and degrading encounter. And that's what makes this experience so troubling. Finding what appeared to be a bug in my food was concerning enough. But watching both an employee and the owner demonstrate such a complete lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism was arguably worse. Restaurants make mistakes. Food preparation isn't perfect. But customers should be able to raise concerns without being dismissed, insulted, or subjected to inappropriate assumptions about their financial circumstances. The owner sets the standard for the entire establishment, and based on what I experienced today, that standard is deeply disappointing. I genuinely question how an establishment can expect to maintain the public's trust when a food-quality complaint is handled with this level of hostility and disregard. I encourage prospective customers to consider this experience before choosing to dine here. No customer should have to tolerate this kind of treatment simply for questioning what was served on their plate. I will never return to GoodFellas Cafe, and based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
