Clean restrooms in a traditional tiled ceramic floors decor to pictures of one of my favorite animals, horses! Looked forward to breakfast and was pleasantly surprised a a very comprehensive menu, I'm glad we made it in time for breakfast because I really enjoyed the corned beef hash and eggs with Pico De Gallo the only way to eat it, even had more meat than potatoes, nicely seasoned. Becca over the top great service! That's everything isn't it, especially these days with higher prices, if I'm going to pay, I hope the service meets the prices. In this case very good overall service. In store and restaurant. I included both menus since they only serve breakfast until a certain time. VERY BARKY BRISKET!…read more I've been coming here for years, since life has me driving up and down I-5. Brisket is the stuff of dreams--has everything I crave, a very peppery, smoky bark, and smoke ring. Meat is always juicy. Also good value for money because 4 oz brisket is just $8.95! Their chicken sandwich is also good, but chicken unlike brisket dries out quicker. So the chicken quality depends heavily on how recently it was taken out of the smoker. But overall very solid smoked-chicken sandwich. This place will have me coming back, as long as i keep driving I-5.

We haven't gotten a full dish here, but I always order all the sides to try a little bit of everything. This includes the tri tip, brisket, mac n cheese, potato salad and the corn bread. The meat here is always good - juicy and tender. They always cut off the burnt ends. The Mac n cheese isn't the best, but I get it for the texture. Of the sides, my favorite is the potato salad. It's refreshing and has a nice flavor to it. The corn bread could be hit or miss - sometimes it's a little dry, but more recently it was pretty good. I also get a small cup of coffee for the road. The only downer is they stopped giving bbq sauce for the sides. I guess I should've asked. You also used to be able to pay for your coffee at the same register but now they make you pay for it at separate registers. Overall, I think this place is solid for a pit stop.

She wasn't serving anyone but had her back turned to us while she was doing paperwork. Menu- lots of choices with breakfast such as omelette, burgers for lunch. I got the Jose Burger with fries- burger with bacon, grilled onions, Ortega chili and American cheese. It was a pretty meaty burger. Had pickles, lettuce and tomato and lathered with mayo. Had to request mustard and ketchup. Burger was impressively good. Fries were thin and fried. Kinda remind me of shoestring fries. Inside was generally clean, although I did notice a few crumbs on some of the seats and spilled food around the top of the trash can that could have used a little attention. One of the biggest perks of this location is its convenience for EV drivers. It's located right next to a row of Rivian chargers and directly across from Tesla Superchargers, with outdoor picnic tables where you can relax while your vehicle charges.
