It's been years since I've been to the Campus Drive In , for old times sake, I took my great granddaughters there, I loved there bbq beef sandwiches with the fat beautiful fry's. !!! But guess what the price is so reasonable for the amount of food you get!!! I loved their fried mushrooms and corn dogs too! If you want great food , made by some nice young ladies who work there. I've been there twice now on Thursday. It's my impression they only offer bbq on Thursday. Their tri tip sandwich is very tasty. It's prepared on a white bun with mayo tomato and lettuce. Comes with fries. I always get ranch and their ranch is good with fries. They work fast and are kind and polite. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I've eaten outside on nice days. I don't understand how literally a couple minute drive renders an extremely cold chicken bbq dinner. Noticed cutting up quarter leg of chicken to warm it up, meat was still pink. Corn was shriveled, bread had soaked up juice from chicken (?), plastic wear wrapped in a napkin was a bad idea to place in the container. I started to ask for fries & stopped, my bad! So short of it neighborhood cats got chicken & I tossed rest of meal out. Salty Pickle or even driving a little further to HR Express is better for me. I've been here for burgers on average once a month. They are pretty good always made to order with fresh hot fries. 9 out of 10 times they don't disappoint. I decided to change it up for once by getting a grilled chicken sandwich. Big mistake! It was cold, extremely dry, with old lettuce and tomato. I definitely recommend Campus Drive in. It's a good change from McDonald's, Burger King, and Taco Bell/KFC. Chicken strips are the best in town, and their ranch is the BEST. Food is always fresh. I was hoping for so much more from Campus. We skipped the fast food stops on the 5 and decided to try somewhere a little different and I must say I was pretty excited to try a new burger joint. Some good sounding food on the menu with some of the lowest prices I have ever seen. I ordered the French Burger, which has three patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and on a French roll, which is where the French part of the name comes in. The burger was OK, just a lot smaller than I expected. With three patties, I was hoping for it to be significantly bigger. We ordered fries and fried zucchini as well. Both very obviously frozen then fried and both were quite disgusting. When you oven bake frozen fries at home, and they don't cook all the way so you taste that stale flavor when you bite into it. That's exactly what these fries tasted like. The zucchini were just as bad. The batter tasted like nothing. The zucchini fell out of the "batter pocket" as soon as you bite into it. You can taste the lousy quality of food here. I'm not holding Campus Drive In up to some painfully high standards here. I just want food that tastes good. Good enough to at least finish. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. First off, there is no drive thru (which is a bummer). My experience: You go up to the cashier and order your food and she started cooking my food right after. This is one of the best burgers I've ever had. I know that's a bold statement. I've eaten a lot of different burgers, and their Western hamburger was wonderful! The burger was very tasty, the onion ring was very crispy, and all around the flavor was superb! There are two ordering windows, with the average wait time approximately 3 minutes and 5 minutes for food. The sandwich was pretty small and the meat didnt have much flavor. The order came with fries which were thick cut and surprisingly good.
