this place is a joke! check out my picture of their pathetic excuse for a tri tip sandwich!! $14 dollars for that crap & the bbq sauce will cost you extra! mind you there were no bbq sauce on the sandwich!! the fountain drinks is crap too, feels like i was drinking chlorinated tap water! i was so disappointed with my meal so i drove down the street to burger king & got me some chicken nuggets and a soda..& the soda tasted fine!! oh and the bbq sauce for my nuggets were free!! el oh elle :) steer clear of this place if youre from out of town!! im sure thats where they get their business..it is from out of town fools like me who has business here & dont know any better!!!

Best shakes in town! Campus has multiple flavors and you can create custom choice by combining options. Chocolate peanut butter and chocolate pineapple are regulars for us!

Quick service, burger was perfect. I knocked 1 star because of the price. Fries and burgers wasn't as much as I'd expect but, there's. It much options to each at this small town. I'd eat here again.

The French Burger

I was hoping for so much more from Campus. We skipped the fast food stops on the 5 and decided to try somewhere a little different and I must say I was pretty excited to try a new burger joint. Some good sounding food on the menu with some of the lowest prices I have ever seen. I ordered the French Burger, which has three patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and on a French roll, which is where the French part of the name comes in. The burger was OK, just a lot smaller than I expected. With three patties, I was hoping for it to be significantly bigger. We ordered fries and fried zucchini as well. Both very obviously frozen then fried and both were quite disgusting. When you oven bake frozen fries at home, and they don't cook all the way so you taste that stale flavor when you bite into it. That's exactly what these fries tasted like. The zucchini were just as bad. The batter tasted like nothing. The zucchini fell out of the "batter pocket" as soon as you bite into it. You can taste the lousy quality of food here. I'm not holding Campus Drive In up to some painfully high standards here. I just want food that tastes good. Good enough to at least finish.

Very good BBQ but my favorite is the jalapeño burger. Fries, mushrooms and zucchini are all great!

I use to work in a small cafe back in the day so working in food service can be trying sometimes. I noticed they have added some menu items and Friday/Saturday dining options as well. Today they had a Monday feature of Tri-Tip Sandwich with either fries or fresh fruit. A free drink was included and I chose lemonade with cucumber and fresh mint. OMG that was delicious. They also had several flavors, strawberry-Hibiscus, strawberry, raspberry, and the cucumber mint lemonade. I chose to dine in and I received my food hot. The fries were perfect. Crispy and not greasy. I chose a hot chipotle ranch & ketchup. Yah, being a vegetarian is hard. I wasn't vegetarian today. I tore up that sandwich and left no crumbs ok maybe the butt end of the roll but that's for Buddha. While waiting I saw the advertisement for Friday night dinners & Saturday Brunch with Mimosas & Micheladas. It's just two staff so go easy on them. They off a 3% discount if you pay in cash. They also accept tap pay. Cool tunes too. Until next time. . .SYOYelp

HAVE AGAIN: Salmon salad is wonderful. Have this every time. We happened to come for gas around lunch time and decided to try the food at Wild Jacks. Burnt Ends Burrito: Brisket, tri-tip, rice, beans, chipotle cheddar cheese, wild jack's ranch. The burnt ends are the most desired part of a Brisket. This one tasted more like leftover meat and I couldn't taste any of the burnt ends. This is a very good way to get rid of leftover scraps but they should change the name. Pulled Pork Nachos: Had a nice looking color from the salsa but the pork was dry and not that great. Sweet Potato Fries: They had that cornstarch coating that some places do to make the fries more crunchy, tasted OK but I prefer them as normal fries. Kid's Cheeseburger: A bit bland and normal for the price we paid, I think they would have enjoyed the McDonald's one more.

Our dog is a certified service animal and because of that they were able to give us a table. We waited like 10 min and we were greeted pretty quick. Food is pretty expensive but tasty so is worth the stop. Along with the menu they gave us the requirements of the behavior of the service animal. I would love that they apply same structure of service for people who dine with toddlers and children's that do not behave. They throw tantrums and is pretty upsetting and disrupt the environment of the guest surrounding that table. My dog behave as she should compared to the table next to me who had a toddler who ... well... was screaming and crying .... I hate flies and there were a couple inside the restaurant... However, the prime rib was just average and definitely not worth the price they're charging. For a place known for steak, I expected more consistency. The bread was a letdown--cold and hard, which is surprising given the overall pricing. When you're paying premium steakhouse prices, you expect better quality across the board, especially with sides and basics like bread. Service was also just okay. We waited longer than what I'd consider normal for a dinner service, and nothing really stood out in terms of attentiveness. That said, the setting is nice and it's a convenient stop if you're driving north. But honestly, it's not worth going out of your way for ( paid $120 for 2)

We stopped to relax, and have a nice meal after sitting in some holiday traffic. We ate at the Horseshoe Lounge in the adult-only dining room. It was very relaxing. It came with salad, s baked potato, bread & butter, and veggies cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious. If you have a Tesla, Harris Ranch is a great stopping place to charge your car, and shop & eat while you wait. Very cool place. We will definitely be back.

But the more you progress through your meal, the more you realize the meat is cooked medium well. Still good though but sort of fell short this time around. I enjoyed the roasted vegetables alotmore this time while pairing it with the mashed potatoes. Was hoping they had Creme Corn and Creme Spinach like Lawry's but guess thats asking too much in the middle of no where Coalinga California Cow Country. Looking forward to my two cuts of rib eyes and tri tip steaks I picked up at their Butcher. Gonna go home and make myself a Michelin Rib eye dinner and some Korean BBQ tri tips. :) Note to server: y'all forgot the raw horseradish I put in a service request for. Cream Horseradish was too un-wasabi-like, I want that nose choke, spicy hit that raw horseradish stimulates you with.
