So I work graveyard shift and I placed an order through the app for my lunch and I was waiting and on the app it shows you the progress of the order so when it was finished I went and pulled up to the location and noticed there was no one in the parking lot (which even late night usually there is a good amount of people) and when I got there was a sign that said "closed" and the doors were locked and everything but online it said it was open on the app too and there's no way to refund on the app that I found so I wasted time , money and my lunch ! read more

This is a very mixed review. I would like to start with the good and it was very very good. After being seated for well over 25 minutes, seeing 2 other tables that were seated after us get their drinks and their orders taken, Lianna stopped by and asked if we had been waited on. We had not. She apologized for Denny's as this was not her area, and assured us that she would take care of us. She was friendly, professional, organized and efficient. Our breakfast was customized as per our dietary needs and was served without error. We must say the 'back of the house' was doing their job perfectly. Thanks Lianna for representing the 'front of the house'! All the time we were waiting we had to opportunity to observer the waitress that originally seated us and in whose area we were seated. One of the most inefficient waitresses we had seen in a long time, and essentially spoiled an otherwise pleasant dining experience. We eat out at least 5 nights a week as we are full-time RVers and travel in all the 48 lower states and had taken many cruses. We are educators in the Vocational Education field and have judged state and national hospitality contests for SkillsUSA. This poor waitress surely gives Denny's a bad reputation. She need training. We would never suggest she should not have her position; just that she needs to be shown how to multi-task, be aware of all patrons in her area, be consistent with her routine as menus, drinks, order, table settings, check back often for needs, then give the check in a timely manner. So the the food, taste and presentation, we would give 5 stars. For Lianna and most of the other waitresses in the other seating area, we would give 5 stars. Ordered the bourbon bacon burger with beer battered onion rings. The burger was as I've had it before -- hot, juicy and very tasty. The onion rings were meh. They were made without breadcrumbs which I don't care for, but they weren't bad. Just ok. Also got an oreo shake and it was great. Now we get to the service. I ordered DoorDash curbside pickup. I called the number on the sign and the server says "you can come inside to pick it up. I have no one to run it out to you". Uh ok...so much for curbside service. I walked in and asked for the order. The restaurant was absolutely dead. Not one person seated. And the server...you could tell she was the moody manager type that could not be bothered walking 25 feet to a car in mildly cold weather. Another server was on the register punching something in. "No one to run it out" was a flat out lie. She just didn't want to do it. How lazy. I kept my mouth shut and left. Wasn't worth starting an argument. My favorite part of it all was this: I saw her stare right at me when I spoke to her on the phone. She wanted to see my reaction and if I was mad. Nah, stayed calm. I knew what was up. When a place offers curbside service they actually need to bring the order out. I'm not sure why she thought it was ok to do what she did (I am sure but I can't say it on here) but it was unprofessional and a bad look on the restaurant. Full disclosure -- I've worked in establishments and carried out orders to customers when the house was packed to the rafters and we were crashing. I just want to say "I stopped going here because of the service, every time I would go there something would be missing. But today I thought let me give it a shot because I was told new people are working now. Long story short, so I went there today and you guessed it something is missing, so I called and talked to the manager (Anthony) . I explained that my order was wrong and I was on my way back up there, upset of course. But as soon as I met with the manager Anthony. He assured me that he would fix it. And I was on my way out the door with a smile on my face and my order in hand made correct within a few minutes. Came here a few times. Lots of employees, unfortunately really slow service. However, the employees are nice and friendly! I'd give the employees a 5 star, but the overall service a 3 star. I've been to this Denny's location both during the day and late night. Late night service is definitely sub par. Tonight was especially bad...wait staff took a long time to take and deliver my order. I wanted a second soda and never received bit nor did i get a bill. I had to walk up to the cash register and ask for more bill there. I was polite the whole time and recognized the fact they may be understaffed. To their credit they did offer me a soda in a to go cup. However i will avoid going to Denny's at night from now on. Denny's is quite exceptional, service wise... They can pretty be uptight and stuck up. SO I just play my cool, because I dont want them to put a UFO on my food that Im about to indulge.. You know, like hair, spit, snot, on my food... That I can't deal with right now. But overall, so far, so good. The diner is quite presentable upon coming in and was greeted about less than 3min. Bathroom is well stocked with bathroom paper, so that a definitely saves the embarrassment. One thing I would recommend is to have them employees check their bathroom at least every hour to make sure its clean. When I came in, there was a slight puddle of water on the floor, and I would assume, a little child had trouble cleansing their hands. And thats what it caused it... If this doest go on check, some elderly could die here to "Risk Of Fall" Anyways, good restaurant, but customer service needs a little more work. Ahem! Understaffed! I get it.. Ugh! Hire more people sheeeesh! "Don't get stingy, rude!" **snaps finger in Z formation** And one thing that this restaurant lacks is Sriracha Sauce.... And they dont even have Tapatio Hot Sauce.. AND now, I was forced to use Tabasco Sauce which made my food even more saltier. Ugh! To further a due, great re-design of the menu though. Loving the new pictures. Added into the comment section to add onions to my meal and I didn't receive it on both of my meals. Pancakes were burnt but I was told I can't get a refund due to the cooking time which makes no sense because I'm a customer with a complaint. Asked for salt and pepper and ketchup, also didn't receive this and was told that they don't give salt and pepper to go and if I would like ketchup I can go back. We came for breakfast, we were seated right away. The staff were all smiles and greetings. The food was quick and tasty. The staff really did work very hard to check on us multiple times as well as with the other guests around us. It was clear they are "upping" their game and they did it very well.
