I would rate it 5 stars, but the loss of one star is the wait time. I get it you don't need that many people sometimes at midnight/1 in the morning but ... come on. Went to the Denny's at 820 S. Indian Hill blvd., Claremont, CA. On January 23, 2026 approximately at 5:22 PM. I ordered the grilled cheese with a salad. When the waitress brought it to me. I couldn't believe how much cheese was on that bread. I tried to eat it and it made me gag. So I picked at it and tried not to eat so much cheese. When I told the waitress that that had a lot of cheese, she didn't seem to care she just walked away. I didn't get her name but was not happy with my meal. So I ate what I could. I walked up and paid and walked out the door. Knowing that maybe next time if I tell them not to put so much cheese in it, they will do exactly that. I always go to that Denny's in the morning for breakfast and the waitress that helps me is very friendly, and cares about whether I am happy with my meal or not. I don't remember her name. But she's always there when I go have a meal there. My favorite meal there is the grilled cheese meal but when it was on the senior menu. Denny's removed it so now I have to find something on the senior meal that I can like. But when I looked this time, there wasn't a very much to pick from. read more

Probably the worst Denny's I have been to. You walk in and it looks abandoned. The air is warm and musty. I see there are tables that haven't been cleaned and the vibe is just odd. We finally get seated down and we get our menus. I ordered the pot roast and rib eye Benny. We get our food and it looks like something out of a horror movie. The pictures don't do it justice. The plates are clean but with wear and tear it looks gross... the carrots are old I mean wrinkly old. The meat is not pot roast. It's not roasted at all... they got a slab of meat and literally cooked it on the plancha then covered it in gravy. This place is gross don't ever come here. The booth smells like urine. Health inspectors really needs to give this place a look. read more
