Stopped by on Sunday, 05/25/25 and Sunday, 06/21/25 - both during lunch hours with my mom. Dined in and ordered the following: Sunday, 05/25/25: - 1 fried fish platter = $16.99 - 1 side of corn = $3.49 - 1 senior salmon plate = $12.19 INITIAL SUBTOTAL = $22.67 I redeemed my $10 off coupon from the app if I spend $30 or more (soooo worth it!) FINAL SUBTOTAL = $22.67 TAX = $2.21 TOTAL = $24.88 ************************** Sunday, 06/01/25: - 1 senior salmon plate = $12.19 - 1 everyday value slam = $6.99 INITIAL SUBTOTAL = $19.18 I redeemed my free everyday value slam (minus -$6.99) FINAL SUBTOTAL = $12.19 TAX = $1.19 TOTAL = $13.38 The overall ambience inside looks a bit outdated but I think that is the normal Dennys norm. The wait time wasn't too bad and the food was mediocre for the price. My mom specifically enjoyed the salmon plate which is part of the seniors (55+ menu) - you also get to choose 2 sides which is a huge perk. Overall I recommend creating an account and downloading the app so that you can get the best deals for your meals!

Hi it's three stars this time as still a fan of the restaurant but not this location. My sister and I went there for what was supposed to be her free birthday grand slam. Because she couldn't find the right place on the app on her phone they wouldn't give her one instead 10% off the bill. I don't know if I'll be safe coming back there for my free one next year the like the one in Diamond Bar did.

Located off the 10 FWY, on S. Indian Hill Blvd. & Auto Center Dr. right by Starbucks. Parking can be a bit challenging if visiting during busy hours (because of Starbucks), but there's additional parking around Denny's building. We visited at noon for late Saturday breakfast, was very busy, and we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The food was fresh, tasted great with that authentic Denny's taste. The restaurant was clean and organized. Restrooms were also clean. Service was efficient. Overall, we had a good experience at this location.

Went to the Denny's at 820 S. Indian Hill blvd., Claremont, CA. On January 23, 2026 approximately at 5:22 PM. I ordered the grilled cheese with a salad. When the waitress brought it to me. I couldn't believe how much cheese was on that bread. I tried to eat it and it made me gag. So I picked at it and tried not to eat so much cheese. When I told the waitress that that had a lot of cheese, she didn't seem to care she just walked away. I didn't get her name but was not happy with my meal. So I ate what I could. I walked up and paid and walked out the door. Knowing that maybe next time if I tell them not to put so much cheese in it, they will do exactly that. I always go to that Denny's in the morning for breakfast and the waitress that helps me is very friendly, and cares about whether I am happy with my meal or not. I don't remember her name. But she's always there when I go have a meal there. My favorite meal there is the grilled cheese meal but when it was on the senior menu. Denny's removed it so now I have to find something on the senior meal that I can like. But when I looked this time, there wasn't a very much to pick from. read more

I've been to several Denny's and the Claremont location is by far the best one. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is tasty and fresh. Laura was our server and she provided excellent service. She kept up with our table of 6. She kept up with our refills and made sure we had everything we needed. Laura was very patient and nice explaining the menu to my children. She definitely made our experience at Denny's phenomenal. Came here to grab dinner & study and I wasn't allowed in with my backpack. I am in literal shock leaving right now. The host said I could take out all of my books and computer and come back with them in my hands without the book bag. I wish I was joking. For the record, I am a normal girl working on my masters, I am not sure what was threatening about my pink backpack. Might as well put up a metal detector to enter that prison, so ghetto! My order didn't come with the oysters or the hushpuppies, and another order at our table was also missing hushpuppies. After I got home, I called about the missing items and was told they were out of oysters. They also said the hushpuppies were forgotten and told me to let them know next time and they would take care of it. The seafood was seasoned well and tasted good overall. The only downside for me was the dark part in the fish (the bloodline), which has a stronger taste and isn't my preference. For sides, I had greens and candied yams. The greens were a little bland and needed more seasoning, and the yams were just okay--not very sweet. Someone with me ordered oxtails, mac and cheese, and collard greens. The oxtails were actually pretty good, but the mac and cheese wasn't for me (I don't usually like mac and cheese). The collard greens were just okay. The wait time was about 25-30 minutes, which they did mention ahead of time. One thing to note is that when we went, it was cash only because the card machine wasn't working. They accepted Zelle, but it would be helpful to have a sign posted. The place is small, but the customer service was great. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and the staff overall seemed on point. Overall, the food was decent, but nothing that would make me come back.

Worst service ever I can't believe I even came back. Time and time again they've failed in their service/communication. We get seated right away but never see a waiter til we flag one down. Today I tried to order their soup of the day and the waiter (a bald guy with a goatee he never introduced himself)tells me he isn't sure if they still have some left but he will let me know. I told my party "I know this place and I bet you anything that he is going to wait til the last second to tell us there is no soup ". And sure enough 30 min later (after he's finishing goofing off behind the counter) he FINALLY gives us our drinks and decides to let me know that there is no more soup. So I turned to my party and said "I told you so". And that seemed to set him off because he just responded "do you just want to cancel it then?" And my party responded " well yea why would you charge us for soup that you don't have" to which he responded "no do you just want to cancel the whole order". Not even offering for me to look over the menu or suggesting something else (which I was more than willing to). After that crappy service we just walked out. If I could give zero stars I would. Thanks to our bald waiter for ruining the end of my birthday. Never again save your time and go to Norms across the street read more

Today's experience at Denny's was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we were seated at a table that was visibly dirty. The chairs had debris on them, there were used utensils still left behind, and the table itself had not been properly cleaned. It immediately made us question the cleanliness of the restaurant. We were then moved to another booth that initially appeared slightly better. However, once seated, I noticed the wall beside us felt sticky, and the picture frames and glass coverings had visible smudges and substances on them. It was very off-putting and uncomfortable to dine in that environment. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when eating out, and unfortunately, that standard was not met. It made it difficult to enjoy the experience from the beginning. When the food arrived, it was mediocre. Did not match the quality we would expect, especially considering the total bill was quite high. The overall value simply did not align with what we received. The only positive aspect of the visit was our waiter. He was professional, polite, and attentive despite the surrounding conditions. Unfortunately, due to the lack of cleanliness and the overall experience, I will not be returning to this location. read more

Oh poor poor Milton our waiter he was the only one that 6 am on a Sunday 8/14/16 and Norms had a small fire across the street so it was closed . Luckily we were one of the first customers directed here by norms and well there was only about 4 tables being used and like 25+ available. We literally stood at the "host" stand for about 15 min no one greeted us and finally i just decided to get my own menus and sit at the table of my choice. I had a great experience at Denny's thanks to the outstanding service from both the manager, Art, and our server, Jesse. From the moment we walked in, Art made sure everything was running smoothly and checked in to ensure guests were comfortable and satisfied. I had such a wonderful experience at Denny's thanks to Jennifer! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel truly welcome. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. My food came out quickly, and Jennifer checked in just the right amount without ever being overbearing. I'm here now waiting for my food with friends. I texted my friend when they seated us at 11:33 and it's now 12:16 and we haven't gotten our food, everybody around us who came in at around the same time are starting to leave. Not to mention there was a lady walking around with her kid panhandling, approaching tables of people while they ate and asking for money with a little girl as bait. This place is hood and the service sucks and I'd like to ask my server what's taking so long but she's nowhere to be found. read more

Showed up early this morning and was immediately greeted and taken in by the manager (she was by herself) she served me in a timely fashion, made sure the food was good and hot and I did not have to ask for any refills on my coffee.
