You can pretty much expect all Denny's restaurants to have the same food which is always good. However, at this Denny's you can usually spot the manager Michelle going above and beyond for every customer. She really is personable. Couldn't even get something to drink or an acknowledgement after we were sat. Though the server at the next table was able to catch the ladies sitting there about his life. Glad he's able to live in his parent's guest house. That helps cut costs when people don't tip because of poor service. read more

We were seated quickly, by our waitress, and drinks were brought quickly. Waitress was helpful, friendly and courteous while we ordered our food. Food was hot, tasty and came reasonably quick. Waitress came and checked on us to see if the food tasted good, and often to see if we needed anything else. When we were finished eating, we went up to the register to pay, and it was our waitress who took care of us. I smilingly told her to "tell her manager that we had a good waitress!" She thanked us and said, "I am the manager." We again complimented both she and her staff on the service and food. After acquiring her name, we thanked Queana Grant and left, fully content with our experience! Since Burley is our home, we eat at Denny's fairly often and hey, sometimes they are swamped with people. And, like many establishments in these times we live, help is hard to find and keep--they're not trainable, don't want to work hard, and if don't like it don't show up! So consumer, if you're hungry and the food is reasonably good and the waiter is reasonably working his/her tail off, give them a lift for the day--smile, thank them with an added "yes mam," "no mam!" Today I had such a bad experience at this Denny's . It was a shame because I do enjoy dining here with my family. Our service was really bad, when we received our food i waited for our waitress to come and ask if we needed anything else or simply check on us. Which she never did, my husband got up and asked a waitress in the front who was doing side work and she looked annoyed. He asked for side dishes and instead of getting them to us she went to look for our waitress and said to her that we needed something. So we had to wait foe her to come to our table, mind you, we were the only table at this moment . We got our side dishes and and all of our food except for my food. After 15 mins my husband got up for the 2nd time to ask about my food and she had forgot to put it in . At this point i felt frustrated because the waitress who was in the front was just giving rude looks and starring while we ate. Once my food was ready, again our waitress was no where to be found and the cooks brought me my plate and apologized . The waitress also forgot to bring my drink and my husband got up for the 3rd time, and the cooks had to go look for the waitress . The food was really good, and the cooks were more attentive to us then the waitresses . Denny's you need to hire people who can service great because the food being good is important but also great customer service. read more

Rough.... I couldn't understand what was getting cooked or what was happening in the back bunch of Spanish speaking, bla bla thought we lived in North America, English is what I was taught in school.. also my portion was extremely small versus plate. Left the place still hungry after I ordered the country fried steak it was the size of a baseball with a small amount of gravy barely covering one side of the patty.. handful of hash browns and when a guy says over med on eggs that's what he wants not over easy, or well... med! Wow I did not know such a lousy Denny's existed in this part of the world. We ordered 3 salads. I salad looked good the other 2 were Caesar salad with lots of lettuce and little of any thing else. All 3 were same price. When she brought them, I looked shocked. She asked why. I said look at difference. She wound up bringing more vegetables to put on it, but it wasn't very good dressing. Then we also asked for a side of french fries which came with about half of what I thought we were going to be getting. We got take out at work. Went to go pick it up and they forgot the shakes with the order but i also forgot to ask about them before leaving. When i got back to work i called and they said it was no problem and brought the shakes to me at work. I was ok with going back and getting them myself. I was impressed and they were super friendly Michele Lewis is always on top of things and she got them to us very quickly, she is a great manager. The Denny's which is located in Burley, Idaho is an overall great place to stop by and eat. The atmosphere is very welcoming, wait staff is extremely nice and easy going. They are willing to accommodate for some allergies or tolerances you may have (may cost extra for gluten free menu items) food prices are well priced for an evening out at a sit down restaurant. As well as the restaurant is open 24 hours a day and you are able to come in and eat whenever you need/want! read more

Inexperienced. Opening a new restaurant is challenging, but you should've worried about the service as much as getting the building built. Lets begin with the hostess. we had to wait extremely long to get seated. Why ask for our party name, do you need our driver's license too? The waitress was alright, except for the fact that it took a while to get our drinks and other requests. This place seems like it is very disorganized when it comes to rushes. Very standard Denny's, which means 2 AM drunken breakfast. This was a great choice after The Asylum.

Placed order online. Arrived at restaurant at exact time to pick up order. Order was not ready. Every time a person went back to ask about it the cook yelled that there were 6 more orders in front of mine. A total of 22 people in the restaurant and they were "busy". Not pleased with watching people standing around and cooks in the back standing around. But they were too busy to get orders out. read more

Clean, family friendly environment. Loved my server. Came as a girls night and we weren't rushed to leave. Drinks were always full and the service was top notch. I will definitely be eating here again when I visit Idaho in the future. Best Denny's I've been at in a long time. read more

I am SO disappointed in the manager!! Last night after a local football game my daughter and her friends went to eat and were treated horribly by the "manager". She was rude and told them they were annoying because they, and almost everyone in the restaurant, were teens and were laughing and having fun. They are the late night customers who keep them busy so I was shocked to hear how she insulted them. I have been with this group of teens many times and I'm always proud of them for being kind and responsible. read more

Clean and friendly. Service prompt. Saw the waitress help out an older lady who was having difficulty making herself understood; she brought her something off menu that was asked for. It's clear she knows several of the regulars by name. Still feel like the price point is a bit high but that's on the company. Mediocre food and terrible service make for an un-enjoyable dining experience. We couldn't find a waitress when we needed one, my daughter's spaghetti had hard noodles and was cold. This Denny's was pretty good. We were seated quickly. The place is clean and in good repair. Our order for drinks was taken quickly and brought quickly. I stick to Denny's for breakfast and ordered the southwest skillet. It was served sizzling and was very good, I ate every last bite. The only reason I give it four stars is our server told us she was leaving for a break and we would be covered by another. No one stopped by for about 20 min. We were fine and didn't want or need anything but why tell me that will happen when it won't. read more

After riding the motorcycles beginning at 5am from Hailey, Id on the morning of August 14th, we stopped in Barley for gas and breakfast around 7ish. The waitress was wonderful, friendly, attentive and very good at her job. I was waitress in my day and I appreciate a good one. I highly recommend this Denny's. the food was good.
