Stopped here on way to Crystal Cove, was expecting typical Denny's experience. Well, let me tell you I am 70 y/o and downed a lot of omelettes in my time, but the Veggie omelette I ordered was without question the best omelette I have tasted ANYWHERE! I even had to stop & meet the cook, Cameron was his name & he obviously takes great pride in what he prepares. From the start we were greeted by a very friendly lady that seated us and our waitress CLARA was pure old school & delightful. Lastly, the cashier was so engaging & very friendly as well. I regret not remembering their names to mention here. If you're looking something really good to eat, at least if this crew is on, I highly suggest you stop at this Denny's. We came in here on our drive back from Phoenix to Los Angeles and were pleasantly surprised. Our server, Esmeralda V was delightful and full of sunshine! Our food was prompt and very good. They have really good gluten free English muffins, so that was also an added bonus for anyone with an allergy. This Denny's is so lucky to have Sakea! We were traveling on the road and wanted a meal, not fast food so we decided to stop in. Sakea was our waitress, she has tons of personality and pays attention to detail. She sang through the restaurant as the tunes played over the speakers overhead! I'm very leery of Denny's in general because we don't typically have good luck with them, but for our time and circumstances this was the best fit for us today. I am so glad we did! Our waitress (Janet) was awesome! Our family is tons of fun and we can often be a handful with our jokes and comments and she dished them right back! Literally, the only waitress to have a come back, let alone a funny one, when we told her we didn't order the ticket. Great service makes everything better. Two people ordered the Super Bird, one ordered the Build Your Own Grand Slam, one had the CocoNana Pancakes and one had the Grand Slam Slugger. We were headed for Phoenix for Christmas and needed a pit stop. The interior seemed to be newly remodeled and was very nice. It was around 7:30pm and wasn't busy at all. We were sat in a regular booth by a really nice server. Most Denny's waitresses are really sweet. Ours was one of the funniest and the best. My husband and I had the new Chicken Melt Sandwich with a side salad. Our food was basic greasy diner food and was good. My sister got the mix and match breakfast of various breakfast items. After a very long car ride it was nice to sit down and have a lovely dinner before we got to our destination. read more

As vegans who travel, Denny's is usually a dependable stop to get AT LEAST a couple of vegan options. I usually get the fit fare veggie skillet - HOLD the eggs and add avocado instead, dry rye toast (I then make my own avocado toast). I ask that they LIGHTLY sauté the veggies or steam them if possible. 15% senior discount, too. This location was a little odd, but the service was friendly and the food was dependable - nice selection of veggies! We would stop here again. What goes on in Blythe, anyway? Located across the street from our hotel, we stopped in after a long drive while passing thru on our way to Arizona. Standard Denny's food, service was ok, cleanliness of our table could have been better. Dennys? Why write a review of Denny's? Everybody knows what they do. Well, maybe not. They do change things once in awhile. Even their slogan. Maybe you remember when it was "A Good Place to Sit and Eat." Did they expect us to eat standing up? Then they changed it to "Now We're Cooking!" Which leads us to ask: what were they doing before? Now they're "America's Diner," which I guess works for them. Anyway, the place is kind of hidden behind a couple of gas stations but the sign is easy to see and they are right off the Lovekin exit in downtown Blythe. We hadn't had much of any vegetables on our trip, so we were looking for more than just burgers or tacos. That's why we stopped in here on the way home. My wife and I both had their Chicken-Fried Steak, which was pretty good and filling enough. Broccoli for the vegetable. We skipped sodas and just had water, both to save money and calories. So we got out the door for $20.02, minus the tip. Good food, good service, reasonable price. What more do you want? read more

Absolutely the worst Denny's I have ever visited. As soon as you walk in, you second guess your decision. It's dark and just doesn't look clean. I was seated right away and given a menu. But took quite awhile for anyone to take my drink order. I only ordered coffee to drink, but that took an unusual amount of time to arrive. I was seated for 15 minutes before anyone took my order. My server was flustered, it seemed, so I didn't complain....gave her my order and waited....and waited.....after I spent 30 minutes in this place she came to me and said someone took her order and threw the ticket away. She was apologetic, but after how she interacted with other customers and staff, it was clear she was in over her head. She never offered to discount my meal....a free cup of coffee....nothing. I have been at Denny's everywhere that we go and I never had too bad experience with customer service This waitress name Clara, with Glasses she has hear problems, my husband order the slam slugger or something like that from menu and she told him we don't have anything with that name. The staff were very helpful and from the moment I stepped in I felt welcomed. Lisa P was my server and she was very helpful and pleasant. My drink order was in front of me in under 2 minutes and my food in under 5! As an international traveller who frequently stays at various restaurants, I have to say this was one of best experiences.
