My wife and I got stuck for the weekend at a hotel in Parker, next door to the cafe. We went there three times in two days and every time it was a great experience. The grill cook doesn't understand the difference between rare, medium-rare, medium, medium-well. and well, but the food was always enjoyable. The soups were outstanding. I was a saucier and I understand soup. I rarely find a soup that needs no seasoning to my taste, but CC nailed it. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient, even when buried in customers. I give the place as many stars as I can. The ambience is exactly what one wants in an American roadside cafe. Happy customers, friendly employees and they even sell ice. That's important when the temps are in the 120's. read more

I've been coming to Crossroads Café for about three years now, and one thing that really stands out is how consistent everything is. No matter when I stop in, the food is always just as good as the last time. That's rare to find these days. The staff is always professional, friendly, and on top of things without making it feel forced. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the service and the atmosphere. This is our stop as soon as we get to Parker. Service is always excellent! Food is good but we've been here twice and had to ask them to reheat the food both times. You walk in and either seat yourself or wait depending on the time of day. It's an old school looking diner. Nothing fancy. We use to love this place. I don't know if they sold or what but the service was the absolute worst! Sat down (we were a table of 3) they gave us one set of silverware the waitress, was slow to take our order and even slower to get drinks. They wait staff looked unorganized and seemed like no one knew where to be or what to do. We got our food. The food use to be really good. This time it was just ok. Never had flimsy toast, but here we are. I had ordered a BLT. Hardly any bacon and it was chewy not crispy. They use to give loads of fries - not anymore. My gripe tho is more so with the service. Our waitress just didn't even bother with our table. We had to constant ask for refills on coffee. She never really bothered with us until we were getting ready to leave thinking she'd get a tip then. Also when she reached across the table her dirty sleeve touched what was left of my sandwich. When I went to pay the lady at the register asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes please. She tossed it at me rather than handed it to me. It's unlikely I'll return which is a shame because this place use to be so good but the lack of service was unbelievable. read more

Comfort food at its finest! The clerk at our motel told us the food was good. She was right. When we walked in we were greeted by the host and seated in a booth. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She checked on us frequently and tried to anticipate our needs. The prime rib was tasty. The fresh horseradish had a bite but didn't melt my sinuses. The baked potato was large. The green beans were cooked with bacon and onion. The chicken fried steak was enormous. It was well prepared. Both my husband and I cleaned our plates. The ambience of the restaurant was casual. It was not too noisy and the background music reminded me of my college days. I was on a long motorcycle ride and this place came up when we were searching for somewhere to have lunch. For whatever reason, the fact that they serve all day breakfast peaked my interest and I went with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and biscuits and gravy. I'm kind of a stickler for the gravy of my biscuits and gravy and on a 1-10 scale I'd give them a 6.5 to a 7. It had a good sausage taste to it, but not a lot of sausage in it (if that makes sense) Service was good and fast, and the ambiance in here is just what you'd expect from a diner of this type. Don't know if I'll ever be by this way again, but it was a good stop off on a long ride. read more

Stopped through here passing through Parker. We're a big fan of locally owned establishments, and this one did not disappoint. There's plenty on the menu for everyone. I started with their chili, which was excellent. I am a big fan of homemade chili and this was excellent. Not too spicy, but just enough kick to keep it interesting. I had a reuben with tater tots. Excellent. The server was very nice and pleasant to chat with. The space wasn't overly busy, but there were enough people in there to keep it lively. I look forward to stopping by again when passing through town. read more

Went last night for their Monday special which is spaghetti/lasagna dinner. It was unfortunate because they tend to run out of lasagna right away which is very disappointing so my husband and I went settled for the spaghetti. The staff there is extremely very welcoming, and they make you feel welcomed which is very important to me. The place itself is old and the diner is huge, and is very well kept up and very clean. It has a great vibe from the moment you walk in. The food portions in this place are huge. I have no complaints except for the fact that I wish that they would stay open a little bit longer especially on the weekends. Whenever someone asks where is a good diner to eat breakfast I always say CROSSROADS. read more

This is a town staple. Best breakfast in town, but on the weekend it is insane! If I'm craving a sit down breakfast this is place to go to which is why the wait can be up to 45 mins on the weekends. Lunch and dinner options are always solid, but if you are lucky enough try to grab a slice of pie. They usually sell out fast so if you want some pie come early. read more

I have been coming here for years just walked in and sat down with my wife. Girl with glasses you get dropped me us off and said she would be right back. Large group of APS guys came in behind us she went got their drinks and order and still ignored us. Second server arrived only to have a BS session with the other girl and they both neglected to take our order or even get us drinks. After 12 minutes of being ignored we got up and left.
