    Sunday prime rib special
    John K.

I've been coming to Crossroads Café for about three years now, and one thing that really stands out is how consistent everything is. No matter when I stop in, the food is always just as good as the last time. That's rare to find these days. The staff is always professional, friendly, and on top of things without making it feel forced. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the service and the atmosphere. I especially look forward to the days they serve prime rib. They do it right, and it's something I always try to catch when it's on the menu. Overall, this place has become a go-to for me because I know exactly what I'm going to get every time -- great food, good people, and a reliable experience.

BLT add onion (they damn bear added a whole onion), barely any fries

You walk in and either seat yourself or wait depending on the time of day. It's an old school looking diner. Nothing fancy. We use to love this place. I don't know if they sold or what but the service was the absolute worst! Sat down (we were a table of 3) they gave us one set of silverware the waitress, was slow to take our order and even slower to get drinks. They wait staff looked unorganized and seemed like no one knew where to be or what to do. We got our food. The food use to be really good. This time it was just ok. Never had flimsy toast, but here we are. I had ordered a BLT. Hardly any bacon and it was chewy not crispy. They use to give loads of fries - not anymore. My gripe tho is more so with the service. Our waitress just didn't even bother with our table. We had to constant ask for refills on coffee. She never really bothered with us until we were getting ready to leave thinking she'd get a tip then. Also when she reached across the table her dirty sleeve touched what was left of my sandwich. When I went to pay the lady at the register asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes please. She tossed it at me rather than handed it to me. It's unlikely I'll return which is a shame because this place use to be so good but the lack of service was unbelievable.

Visited again 4/30/2025 This place is always a winner. Perfect Breakfast every time. Pork Chops and Eggs, 1/2 Order Biscuits & Gravy, One Pancake instead of Toast. OJ and a Coke. Breakfast Of Champions

Comfort food at its finest! The clerk at our motel told us the food was good. She was right. When we walked in we were greeted by the host and seated in a booth. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She checked on us frequently and tried to anticipate our needs. The prime rib was tasty. The fresh horseradish had a bite but didn't melt my sinuses. The baked potato was large. The green beans were cooked with bacon and onion. The chicken fried steak was enormous. It was well prepared. Both my husband and I cleaned our plates. The ambience of the restaurant was casual. It was not too noisy and the background music reminded me of my college days. If you're looking for a good meal in Parker, I highly recommend the crossroads Café.

    Biscuits & gravy 2 eggs 2 bacon

I was on a long motorcycle ride and this place came up when we were searching for somewhere to have lunch. For whatever reason, the fact that they serve all day breakfast peaked my interest and I went with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and biscuits and gravy. I'm kind of a stickler for the gravy of my biscuits and gravy and on a 1-10 scale I'd give them a 6.5 to a 7. It had a good sausage taste to it, but not a lot of sausage in it (if that makes sense) Service was good and fast, and the ambiance in here is just what you'd expect from a diner of this type. Don't know if I'll ever be by this way again, but it was a good stop off on a long ride.

Very cute and quaint breakfast joint on the border of California and Arizona. Eggs benedict were very saucy but flavorful and the spicy cajun sausage was delicious. We were sat fairly quickly as a party of 7 and service was kind and quick! Great classic breakfast diner to fuel up for the day.

Usually stop here for bfast on our way to Havasu (CA side) but decided on burgers today...great choice!

Pretty good food and service. We come here every time we visit my grandpa so it's a bit of a tradition for us. The inside is basically just your small town diner vibe. Overall, like this spot especially for breakfast

Coffee was good, besides not getting a spoon to stir my coffee, that's okay. Coffee was great nonetheless. Breakfast was really good too. HashBrowns was cooked to perfection. Eggs were cooked well too and toast was delicious for sourdough, except I would have liked more butter, but that's okay too. This place is located right next door to a Mc Donald's- (Dick move on corporations) I suggest you give this place a try while driving through Quartzsite for breakfast. A local mom and pop shop that deserves support for a tasty meal.

There was only one server, Josh, running the entire front of the house by himself. Apparently this is customary on Wednesdays. Before he could seat us, he had to clear off a table. Several tables were just in disarray and when people came in, this poor man had to scramble to clean something off. I went to the bathroom and one stall had absolutely no toilet paper or covers. And one dispenser had no soap. The bathroom was just yucky. When I came back, we still didn't have menus or drinks. When our food came, we asked for condiments that took too long that we ended up taking them from another table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The cook gave me a stale biscuit that just ruined my meal. I couldn't eat it or ask for it to be remade because Josh was too busy to check in on us or refill our drinks. I told him when he came to pick up the plates. He apologized, but he didn't remove it from the check. I paid $10 for a meal I couldn't eat. We got a piece of pie and the taste was kind of weird...like it had been freezer burned and then defrosted. The whole experience was disappointing.

Everything was tasty but I would make a few recommendations:…read more One is change the fake butter flavored spread or whatever it is that is used on the texas toast/sandwich bread - it cheapens the quality of your "homemade" food. Second, check the salad mix for rusty/brown/wilted bits - it totally killed the excitement I had to find your ranch dressing is yummy (i.e. not that cheap weird tangy crap many restaurants use) and my salad had ham bits but then it had like a 1/3 bad lettuce that I had to remove. Lasty, even though it's the end of the day and I know you are tired - front of the house customer service is equally as important to me as the quality of the food. It's imperative to be pleasant always and not make the customer feel like they are putting you out or burdening you - smile more at the very least - make me feel welcomed and want to back. Okay, sorry... one more - no one wants tomato slices as their only side veggie option - they were mealy, went straight in the trash, and that's just wasteful for your pocket and mine. There is no shortage of mixed veggies (frozen or canned) and I would be more than satisfied to have that as an option with real butter applied. That's just MHO - maybe the town likes tom slices and I'm way off... idk - I just didn't get it and I'm not a fan of that veggie option. Now the goods - prime rib was very flavorful (not quite med-rare as requested but the flavor made up for it), fish n chicken tenders was a good portion (though I don't think I was supposed to get 2 fish/2 chicken filets - it was still yummy along with the tarter sauce, and the salad with ham bits made me very happy... plus the ranch was quality (tasted like the good Ole hidden valley ranch dip packet w/sour cream which far exceeds that other bottled junk including the bottled version of its own, lol). Ambiance was fine for a diner but could benefit from a sprucing up to more match the feel of the outside of the building. A spring cleaning and a fresh slap of white paint to pick everything up inside. I like the little "gift shop" in the middle giving more privacy between tables. Overall, Steaks n Cakes is a much appreciated option in Blythe where a lot of quality dining options are lacking. Thanks y'all!
