This place is right on the water, which is super cool. There's a nice patio. Except it was 110° outside! The inside has a old to crappy diner feel the staff was the owners of his son and another waitress. They were super friendly and gave great service. The food was really good. I am still in awe of how phenomenal the food and customer service is at The Dock Restaurant! They spoil you with extras that aren't included. The homemade croutons are beyond words. We get chicken and vegetables. When we first ordered it, I had never idea of the delicious platter that awaited us. Seriously incredible and huge. You have to finish off the night with the homemade bread pudding. So delicious! The customer service is phenomenal but the views of the river... no words. We have seen the signs advertising the ribeye steak, so my wife and I decided to give it a try. We've been coming to the river for the last 30 years, we have enjoyed the Dock previously, but not with the new owners. We were seated quickly and the server was very nice. Unfortunately when we looked at the menu we couldn't believe the prices......$100.00 for the 30 oz ribeye.....$23 hamburgers.....nothing under $20. We didn't try the food, I would expect to pay these prices at Fleming's, not in Parker. We just left and went to Dumas's. I can't see how they can have these prices and stay in business......best of luck to them, but out of my price range. read more

We went in to experience what we were told to be the best fried fish dinner around. My wife and son ate the ALL YOU CAN EAT fish and shrimp dinners which come with fries, coleslaw, a soft drink, and or a salad. They were both blown away about how much they got and the quality or the food. I had the Bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and a large root beer. Killer good and BIG. We ordered the fried zucchini as an appetizer, seriously the best we've ever had. Mark was amazing and made our experience one for the record books. My wife even said that her dinner salad was the best she ever had and that's something that didn't expect from a quaint, little cafe style restaurant with a great view and a great park for the kids to play. Well let's just say I was truly impressed by this restaurant. We went in as a party of 6 all first timers of The Dock. Five of us had the Rib eye special & one had the fried shrimp, fish & chips. We all started off with a very large fresh garden salad, toasted garlic bread, a fully loaded baked potato & grilled zucchini then came the 10 oz. steak (which looked more like a 16 oz.) perfectly cooked & seasoned. Everything was delicious the owner Larry was attentive & made the whole experience feel like you were at a 5 star steakhouse. We will definitely be back & I highly recommend to others. read more

The good: friendly staff and we got to see and feed the donkeys, coleslaw was tasty, burgers were good, with lots of bacon. The bad: the fish tasted like cinnamon and slipped out of the breading. We were shocked by the prices no item less than $20 but the meals come with a beverage, side and dessert. We split some entrees. Not the cleanest and the roof is falling apart. We heard later from a local that they had recently been shut down by the health department but fortunately none of us got sick! read more

Excellent every time. We have lunch here every time we visit big river. Right on the river no need to go into town. Portions are super generous and the chef is so friendly, he is always going above and beyond, making sure we get exactly what we want and more!. The Dock in Big River is a local restaurant located on the Colorado River. Mark and Eddie provide friendly and great service. Food is American fare and it is substantial and delicious! A must have is the all you can eat fish and shrimp. So much food take out box will be required. A favorite of mine is the BLT. The bacon is so good! And there is A Lot of it! Beer and wine is available and a breakfast menu is in the works. So if you want a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food The Dock is a must visit! read more

I hate it I am not sure what I just ate but I ordered the gourmet mushroom burger! Doesn't smoked Gouda and a variety of mushrooms all on angus beef sound good? Well that's what I thought too. However, it was the most disgusting nonmeal I've eaten in quite some time. UNBELIEVABLE!! I won't even go into the greasy and cold sweet potato fries fried in old oil. What an awesome place for Friday night Fish and chips all you can eat. It's the best tasting fish on the Colorado River. Our waitress Connie was very friendly and attentive. Actually she gave us a choice of crispy or extra crisp fish. All you can eat fish and chips, includes your 1st choice of drink beer, wine or soft drink all for $11.00. Don't forget to leave a nice tip, they earn it. I highly recommend anyone craving for fish to give this place a try. You can count on us to be back soon. I'm a river rat- spent every summer there when my granparents were alive & living in Big River. We had many lunches & dinners at the dock. I've been ordering from that to go window since I was 3. Tuna melts are the best, then in the mid 80s / early 90s they started serving jalapeno poppers... I'm positive this was the first place EVER to serve them. I miss coming here. read more
