What a spot! Even if you are not staying here, you may want to eat here! First morning I had a meat lovers omelet that was huge. Our server told us the omelets were 4 eggs, that explains a lot. Wifey had the yogurt berry parfait. That was yummy too. Now the second morning, they had a 4 oz steak breakfast for $4.99. Of course we ordered that one and once again it was fabulous. We are first-timers at the Blue water resort. Not sure why this place was rated three stars. I ordered the truckers special breakfast which is available 24/7 featuring a one pound ham steak two eggs hash browns and toast. I think the ham steak weighed more than a pound and it was probably the best I've ever had. The eggs were good and the hash browns were excellent. I'm a big eater and I had to take half of a ham steak home in a doggy bag. Service was a little bit on the slow side but very friendly. The atmosphere was excellent. The Blue water Grille is a good choice to Dine in Parker's limited selection. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the hosts at the Grille. My wife and I went to the podium where the host was. I was told It would take about 25 Minutes in order to get a table, I was given a pager, I sat down on the bench My wife and sat in her scooter. The Host Name was Ardena Ramirez and Date 4-29-2026 at 3:08 Pm. She was Extremely rude. I asked her why she seat the people that that got their pager after use were seated before us she tried telling me the we there before us she preceded to Call Me a liar when I told her they came in after us and was Told we had 2 more ahead of us, My wife does not walk and in a mobility scooter the couple were seated at a table where my wife and I normally are seated. Fortunately she and the friendly staff were able to accommodate us as it was a Monday night! Great burgers and hot onion rings, which I recommend over the fries! We showed up with a group of 11. We had a short wait and were buzzed when the table was ready. Our server didn't flinch about separate checks. The food took a bit but it all came out at the same time and was hot and fresh. This is one place that still has 2020 prices. My huge chicken fried steak with all the goodies was only $12. I love coming here to blue water but, it's super stupid that they don't have service or WiFi in the hotel rooms. They also LOVE to put up a sign for no hot food here at the deli so it forces you to spend more (not that much) money at the grille. Chorizo burrito (breakfast burrito) 3 dollars at the deli, but ten at the grille so they want you buying from there instead. Today, they put up the sign for no hot food, and right when it turned 11 o'clock which is when breakfast ends, magically they have hot food again. We actually got locked out of our room because the key reader batteries went dead. We were locked out for over 3 hours with a baby. Asked for some kind of compensation but recieved nothing. The lady working the check in desk was very rude. Their daily specials are cheap if you're a club member, everything else on the menu was about average priced. We tried the all-you-can-eat spaghetti for $7.99 and basically it was worth about $7.99. Nothing special, but not terrible either. The utensils were all plastic, making it feel a little cheaper. They are really strict about covid precautions, so that's probably why they're using plastic. We both ordered a beer and sat down inside. We finished our beer before we received our food. A long wait. The pork in my tacos was way overcooked. It was crunchy and inedible. We went for the Friday night prime rib and crab buffet and were not disappointed. To be fair, I am not generally a fan of buffets, but my husband can't say no to seafood. We were seated after a a short 10-15 minute wait, which was very impressive as the Parker Enduro was going on that weekend and the resort was filled with participants. The tables were clean and Staff very welcoming. Our drinks were prompt and plates cleared quickly, despite it being packed. The buffet was clean and well stocked with a good variety. I was very impressed with the Prime Rib; it was not your typical buffet prime. It was juicy, not over cooked, and clearly recently prepared. My husband said the crab was good. It wasn't king crab, of course, but not over cooked and easy to crack. The other entrees and sides were of high quality and ranged from the normal, such as mashed potatoes, to sea food inspired items like shrimp and oysters Rockefeller. My only complaint is that the salad bar was small and slightly lacking. The salad items that they had were all fresh and the toppings and dressings well stocked, but it it was a small salad bar. My husband reminded me that people were there for the seafood and prime; not the salad. Which is a fair assessment, as it was sparsely visited during our time there. This probably won't become our Friday night ritual, but being a short drive from Havasu and a nice clean place, we'll definitely go every couple of weeks. Eggs your way. Basic and decent. Eggs cooked nicely over easy. The chicken fried steaks, not great but good.. The French dip. It's another story. Fries fresh and bread soft, but the meat inside the ciabatta style roll was like jerky. Hard, dark and crispy. Terrible. The table next to ours had prime rib and it smelled great buy they sent it back 3 time. Apparently the cook doesn't know the difference between medium well (which they ordered) and medium rare (which they received). Service lacking. Not sure if they were under staffed or they just don't give 2 sh*t$. After finally receiving our bill we had to wait another 10 minutes at the front for someone to come ring us up and check us out. Was staying at the hotel (see separate review when we check out) and decided to go ahead and eat here. After all, there is not much choice in Parker, so we decided not to drive around. We were greeted at the front by Jonathan, who was in charge of both seating people and ringing people up as they left. As you can imagine, he was going back and forth between the two tasks. When we walked up he asked if he could ring up and elderly couple on the other side. Of course, that was no problem and we said yes. It took a few minutes but he then escorted us to a booth and apologized for the wait. He had a great attitude. The waiter was Michael. He asked if we wanted buffet or from the menu. We decided to order the "Veggie Sampler Platter" off of the menu. It says that it comes with fried mushrooms, zucchini, green beans, fried pickles, and ranch dressing. My sister who was dining with us is a vegetarian so she liked this option. Unfortunately, there were no fried pickles in the sampler as promised. But the rest was really, really good. I could eat a whole basked of the friend green beans! We all decided to get the buffet. It was advertised as $8.95 but be wary of that. We even asked about the pricing and got the answer of "it starts at 8.95" and I should have asked for more clarification but just wasn't thinking. It is $8.95 if you just stay over on the salad bar. The moment you walk over and take something from the "warm" buffet that has the mac n cheese, pasta, etc., you enter the $16.95 adult buffet. That should have been made a bit more clear because the only price I ever saw was $8.95 -- but again, I guess he did say "it starts at" and I didn't catch on. The salad bar is so-so. Some salad (they just cut open a bag and pour it in, we watched them) and a few topping options. Salad dressings. Some soup. Some pretty good desserts. The fresh fruit selection was really impressive, actually, and included fresh strawberries. I probably ate about $5 worth of strawberries so I can't complain about the $16.95 I paid. In the "warm" buffet area the pasta was kind of bland, nothing to write home about. I liked the mac n cheese others did not. The chicken was a bit dry, but I improvised and put brown gravy on it and ate a few pieces. Here is why this place gets 4 stars: (1) It is a simple buffet that doesn't claim to be anything but a money making venture. The food is just kind of average but you can tell that if you glance at it before deciding to eat it. A few things are better than others (Italian sausage was amazing!). The salad bar is just average but they don't claim to be Sweet Tomatoes either. (2) Our server, Michael, was really great. A polite young man that cleared our dishes, filled our glasses, brought us a box for the veggie sampler we didn't finish. Overall, just made us feel welcome. (3-4) Let's get back to Jonathan. As we were checking out, he was still going back and forth between both sides (coming and paying/going) AND was answering the phone. This place should really invest in getting Jonathan some help. He's super sweet. Very apologetic about having us wait again but this isn't his fault (the guy in front of us gave him a hard time -- but it isn't Jonathan's fault he is the only one heading the front lines). I'd give this place two stars just for Jonathan. One star each way! Maybe could use a few tweaks to the menu, clarifying prices, etc., but overall we were satisfied. We did get to eat a lot of food. This review is for Alexis Garcia. We were staying at the BlueWater for a few days and we always order room service and pick it up at the restaurant. Alexis told me they can't do that because people don't pick up there food. I told her to run it for room service and charge it to my room but she refused to do that. Ok no big deal. I went down and she knew I was the one that called down. She said "to go order?" Then disappeared and helped other people that came after me. After she was standing around at the hostess desk for 5 minutes, she called a server to help me. She knew I was in a hurry so I'm sure she was stalling time. She pulled the biggest attitude and I have never received dirty looks from anyone before. She obviously should not be working in the food/ beverage industry and should seriously be fired. I want to leave a 10star review for Michael. He is hands down THE BEST server I have ever come across. He is the sweetest, most efficient person ever. It's crazy how different peoples attitudes can be. The food here is really good. We always order off the menu and I always just order the burger with a side salad. Price is great. Been coming here for years. Our family owns a house on the water since 91'. We try to come often and every single buffet trip it's the same outcome from the past with everyone saying how the food sucks we're never coming back" Yet next month we're back because everyone wants to play the slots for an hour and my dad constantly keeps thinking the buffet will be better.....he never learns. Last time the sea food buffet had sushi, you really can't mess up a simple California roll....wrong...The rice was so rock hard it crumbled like toast, I'm assuming they left the sushi in a fridge for a week + opened and it dried out. It was un-edible yet they kept serving it while people grabbed it and looked confused and disgusted after they sat down. Usually the deserts are so bad those can't be eaten either. Food overall is like a very low quality cafeteria, nothing to brag out you pick at 2 plates and are ready to leave. Often they make you wait 20+ mins before being seated even though 50% of the place is empty tables (maybe that's a tactic to get people to be tempted to play the slots while they wait) But for the price I would expect better, especially from a casino which a buffet is known for. I'm sure they pull in decent money as they sure charge a lot it should be a bit more edible. Where do I start? We went last week for Meatloaf Monday, was craving mashed potatoes so why not? We got there pretty early, maybe 6 o'clock. We were told 30-45 minutes for a table. No problem, gambled a bit then the buzzer went off 30 minutes later. We get in there and not even half the tables are seated, and we waited for what??? So........ she asks us if we've heard about the special, YES!! that's why we're here! Well, this is where it begins. They have meatloaf, no gravy for it though????? We can have turkey gravy. OK, doesn't sound like a big deal but two out of three of us said we'll order something else. She came back a few minutes later and said we would like to split an app and get the salad bar........Nope! They're closing it down because they found ants. I finally looked at my friend and said what kind of place did you bring me to? After this poor girl had to come back 3 times we finally decided on something to eat that they could make.
