Before posting, here's a draft you can edit if you'd like: I hate leaving bad reviews, but this experience deserves one. First, let me say that I'm not a high-maintenance traveler. I stay at budget motels like Motel 6 all the time, so I'm not expecting luxury. We stayed at Fox RV Resort last year, so we knew exactly what we were booking--a dated RV with 1990s decor and basic amenities. Last year, our only issue was that the grill had no propane. This year was a completely different story. We arrived on an extremely hot day only to find that the RV had no power. It was unbearably hot inside, and after checking the breakers ourselves, nothing worked. We called the main number, and someone came down to turn the power on. He even acknowledged that it should have been turned on before we arrived. Once we started unpacking, we noticed the back window was covered with a piece of cardboard to block out light. Then we discovered the bathroom smelled like raw sewer. After reading older Yelp reviews, I realized this has apparently been an ongoing issue with this same trailer for years. Next, we found out there was no grill, even though the website advertises one. We had brought a cooler full of food specifically to grill during our stay. We called and were told someone would bring one over. Forty minutes later, still no grill, so my husband called again. The owner answered sounding irritated and basically snapped that it would get there. Later that night, around 9 p.m., the Wi-Fi wasn't working. We weren't upset--we just wanted to make sure there wasn't a switch or something inside the RV that needed to be turned on. Instead of helping us, the owner answered the phone by saying, "Do you know what time it is?" He then went on a rant about how we'd already called twice that day with complaints before telling us to "pack your shit and go." My husband stayed remarkably calm. I honestly would have hung up. The owner also told us, "This isn't the Ritz." No kidding. We weren't expecting the Ritz. We were expecting the amenities that were advertised and basic customer service. The issues with the RV were frustrating, but things happen. What made this experience completely unacceptable was the owner's attitude. I've never been spoken to by a business owner that way in my life. If you value even basic customer service, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Visited on Father's Day 2026 for breakfast. Very limited boat parking, but we got a spot. This floating bar is a popular spot for race boats to show off and large wakes will push you towards the dock, so gotta be careful. Once docked and waves calmed easy to get on and off with kids. Shortly after we ordered, they stopped breakfast because they ran out of food, this was around 10-10:30am. They had 1 bartender at the outside bar, only bar open till 11am when the upper bar opens. Line was wrapped around the bar. Took 20 minutes to get 3 cocktails and 2 kids juices and they were out of water bottles!?! Super understaffed for a holiday weekend. Took approx 30 min for 4 adult and 2 kids breakfasts to come out. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and sourdough toast. Eggs were not fresh eggs, they were powdered or just like hotel eggs. Very disappointing. Hash-browns were kinda cooked with a half of a whole potato on my plate. Weird. Bacon and toast were good. Kids pancakes were kinda hard. Fake syrup and fancy brand ketchup are not appreciated. Please serve real syrup and actual ketchup. Very basic breakfast. My husband's breakfast sandwich he said was good and had a real egg! I'll order that next time! Loved that they had swings for the kids, next to a large store to purchase swag. On the other side of the restaurant is a small beach! Rocky shore so water shoes are a must! Older kids were doing laps running off the dock into the river, so fun! Fun bar and restaurant and we will return despite the few negatives. I'd probably prefer lunch or dinner here! Go to Pirates Den for breakfast! read more

It wasn't a busy day at Foxs at all - I count 2 individuals sitting at the bar. Upon just docking our boat, one of our friends had a Monster Energy drink in her hand just finishing it off on the dock and getting ready to throw it away when a female bartender comes running up to her and yells, "You CAN'T HAVE THIS HERE! I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IN IT!!" Again, we just stepped off our boat to be greeted like this. She could have kindly asked and/or informed that no outside drinks are allowed if we intended to bring it into the bar. We would have kindly informed that it was about empty and we were throwing it away anyhow. This was our first time at Foxs and the first impression left a marred experience from the get-go. Since we already docked, we walked past the bar and into the food ordering building to get some apps to share - Chicken Tenders, Mac 'n Cheese bites and fries. If you plan on renting a park model at Foxes, this is your forewarning. We have rented for the last 5 years and last weekend was our final straw. They charge $195 a night for a place that should only be $50 a night. Our friends showed up to a dirty park model-dirty dishes in the sink, dirty bath towels piled next to the shower & a dirty pair of women's underwear in the dirty sheets that had not been changed out. Ours was the same and upon our arrival, a staff member was cleaning our park model and was in and out within 10 minutes. Barely any of the lights work, everything is broken and old. Visited 11/17/2022 Wow. I've haven't been here in at least 20 years and now I'm kicking myself for not stopping back in. My girlfriend and I come out to Parker quite often and was stoping for cocktails at The Roadrunner Floating Bar Or The Pirates Inn farther down the Parker strip. This place is so much friendlier and has very tasty food and friendly Prices For a River Bar. The Double Cheese Burgers are fantastic if you ask for three slices of cheese and the Fries are very tasty. The big surprise for us was the Amazing Tempura Beer Battered Onion Rings. Amazing batter with great flavor. They are a must. The staff are friendly and treat everyone like they are regulars and locals. The Beer selection is good and cocktails are not skimpy on liquor. They have some signature cocktails worth a try and prices are actually very fair for a resort bar. They have Smoked BBQ Ribs on the dinner menu that I can't wait to come back and try. For the Parker Strip This Is my kind of place. Give it a try. read more

This review is for the campsite use with personal trailer. There was a water leak coming from an underground sprinkler pipe that was creating mud all over the campsite. There was nobody in the office to address it the whole time during our stay. The location is great, as long as you don't mind leaf blowers at 6AM every day waking you up. read more

We stayed here a week ago in park model 8. At first glance it looked ok. But then we entered the bathroom and noticed a horrendous sewer smell that we smelled our entire stay. Really gross. The fixtures in the bathroom had lots of rust on them, and touch-up paint was desperately needed throughout the model. Also, the lock on the inside of the sliding patio door was completely missing and we were only able to lock the door from the outside. So, we had to sleep with the door unlocked for the entire weekend which wasn't cool. There was nobody in the office the entire time so we couldn't do anything about it. I could've definitely overlooked the touch-up paint but the sewer smell and the missing door lock were unacceptable. The restaurant on site was also filthy and very run down. The ceiling where we were seated was about to cave in and the tables were filthy, it appears that they rarely get cleaned. Just had an overall grimey feel to it. The floating dock bar was awesome though and we did have a great time on the Colorado River. I will definitely come back but I don't ever see staying in one of the park models again. read more

This review is based on bar and food. I had the double cheeseburger and fries. Wife had two tacos. Both were decent but nothing to get too excited about. The restaurant and bar seemed to be clean but as far as staying there forget about it. Rooms really old and run down. I was disappointed no onion rings today or many other things on the menu. If you are handicapped I suggest you keep rolling. No ADA parking restrooms or walkways. Wife was in knee brace. Not good. Would I go back maybe for a drink if my wife gets better and can walk normal again. Definitely old school . read more

Today I walked into Foxes with my service dog (not emotional support, a trained service dog with credentials) and I was asked to leave. I explained that that's not legal and I'd be happy to show all of my credentials and paperwork (which they are not allowed to ask for under ADA). They forced me to leave. I'm so upset because my husband and friends are in there and they won't let me in to even let them know. I can't believe that I was treated this way! I'm now at Roadrunner and the manager has been extremely nice apologizing for the way I was treated at Fox's. read more

Fox's is floating chaos, but in the best way possible. This floating bar and small restaurant is a staple in both Parker and Havasu. Its bar seats and picnic tables view the water, creating some of the best river vibes out there. Fox's also has a full service diner to soak up your drunken activities. I ordered the Club Sandwich which came with multiple skewers of a turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, and tomato on sourdough. Each entree includes a choice of side: fruit cup, fries, coleslaw, cottage cheese, or potato salad. I went with the fries, which were perfectly crispy and delicious dipped in ranch. I'd also note that they serve breakfast until 11AM on Saturday's and Sunday's and the burritos are the size of my forearm! While the food was fantastic, this river paradise is all about the drinks. My favorite so far is the Big Stick, which tastes exactly like a slushy version of its namesake. Next to the bar you'll find a small cove to dock your toys, as well as a beach for some intoxicated swimming. Plus, if you're lucky you might even catch some live music! read more

It's sad this place has gone down hill so much, Like many other reviews my family has been going here for years and it's not the same. Donny the owner is aggressive and defensive. The maintance manager David is the same. They shouldn't be in the hospitality business. We stayed in the park model #12 with our dogs and I didn't expect much since it's a party pad and they allow dogs but I was shocked when we walked in there were Cockroaches, holes in walls, broken blinds, broken curtain rods, dust, cobwebs, blood splatters on the walls, towel racks ripped off the walls, nasty stained carpet, dirty floors, minimal bedding, bugs in the lights, ceiling lights ripped out , SMOKE ALARMS RIPPED OUT, lights not working, and BULLET HOLES IN THE WALLS !! , the list goes on. I called the "desk" which is not on the property, they said they'd send maintance, David the maintance guy poked his head over the fence said "did you want something?" All rude. I said yeah I wanna talk to someone about a reservation change or discount. He said he'd call his boss. No one ever showed up or called. I had to find the number, I called and as soon as I said I'm staying in 12 and the issues going on with the place he jumped down my throat saying " I know everything going on with that place I don't have time to fix it cause it's booked 95% of the time. And I'm not giving you shit for free you can forget about it. Or you can pack up all your shit right now and get out! " insane especially because I was calm and being polite. It's a bummer because the beach is so cute , the bar was fun, and the food was decent. If they just cleaned the rooms and did MINOR maintance and didn't act like fucking assholes they would get a-lot more business and happy customers. read more

Classic floating dive bar! With some of the same patrons that i remember seeing back in 1981! My the years have not been kind to them...... too much sun, drink and blow! But this place has many good memories..... but the way it creaks and sways makes me wonder if the next wake boarder boat that blasts by, may sink her forever! read more

DON'T STAY AT THIS HORRIBLE DUMP!!! If I could rate them zero I would. I am extremely disappointed. My family and I stayed there about four years ago and we had a good time. This time was a DISASTER. We booked with two other families so you would think this owner would be happy and address any issues. My sister in law checked into their unit and it was filthy, so they went to the office to see if they could get it addressed. The owner Donny started to get upset and starting yelling using profanity. It looks like they never clean the unit. Someone punched a hole in the bathroom door, cobwebs on the ceiling, ceiling fan looks like it was never cleaned, carpet was stained, containers on top of cabinets never cleaned, and refrigerator was dirty. When you are spending over $500 for a three day weekend you expect the place to be clean and especially when COVID is going on. I don't understand why a business owner would get so upset and blame the customer for the crappy service. All he had to do was have someone come back and clean. The owner got PISSED and told them to find some where else to stay and he'd refund them the money. They weren't even there for 30 mins when this maniac went off on them. The owner stated he was going to refund the money on my sister in law's card, so we will see. Once we went back to my unit we noticed how dirty our mobile home was. I have attached several pictures. The window frame has never been cleaned and there were tons of dead bugs. The kitchen cabinets had dust on all of them along with the window blinds. The chair in the living room needs to be replaced because it was very dirty. The bathroom toilet had an issue and it wouldn't flush unless we messed with it. I didn't want to talk to the owner because we knew we would have MAJOR problems knowing his anger issues, so I cleaned and sanitized the place as much as possible. Thank goodness I brought Lysol and Lysol wipes. We payed almost $480 for a one bedroom unit, you'd think they'd at least clean the unit. We are a Mexican American family and we were disappointed the next day when we went to the beach area. While we were there the owner of Fox's (who lives in the mobile home by the beach area) hung up this huge Trump flag which read TRUMP 2020 F**K YOUR FEELINGS. We came on vacation to get away from all of crazy stuff going on this year. I didn't want to think about politics while on vacation. Everyone can have different views on who they want to support. However, the owner put up his Trump flag when a latin song came on. We were listening a variety of music from Sublime, Rap, Foo fighters, Pitbull, Creedence Clearwater etc.. You name it we were listening to it. We feel he was trying to send us a message by displaying his flag. We came to Fox's four years ago with over 30 family members only to return back to be treated like crap. We thought were going to have a good time; however, it was an AWFUL experience. The second day we went to a different place to enjoy the river which we shouldn't have had to do since we paid to stay at this resort. If you are not white, DO NOT stay at this place. I just want to let everyone know that they definitely do NOT allow dogs. I couldn't find that info anywhere here or on their website. I tried calling a couple of times but no one answered. My friend got through on the phone and was told dogs were allowed. So we show up with my golden retriever. We were barely through the gate and were told emphatically by an approaching employee that dogs were NOT allowed. There is a "no dogs" sign posted on the gate but a guy in the parking lot told us people always bring their dogs in there. Otherwise it was a neat place to hang out with friends. The only seats available when we got there at 3:00 yesterday were in the way back bar on land. We had great service from the bartender (sorry I forgot to get her name) and a beautiful view of the river. read more

Foxes has been one of our favorite places since we moved to Parker. But wow tonight the older big guy with white hair might be owner. Very rude nasty man. Yes I know they are now NOT DOG friendly but rude you don't need to be. Was dropped off with my dog and he started scolding me. I had such a bad experience me and my boyfriend got food here, the burritos were alright but the French toast literally came with uncooked egg still on it. We decided to go eat by the water and get a drink my boyfriend ordered a margarita and a pina colada with vodka. We get our drinks and omg they are awful the pina colada tasted terrible and the margarita barely had any flavor at all when we told the bartender who made it she goes "that's what u get when u make a daiquiri with vodka". Obviously the vodka will change the flavor but this was absolutely disgusting. After spending $20 on two drinks they did not remake us anything or give us any other options so we threw the drinks out $20 down the drain. The bartender was a blonde lady with a horrible attitude. If you're on the river you might as well just go to any other bar on the water. read more

When you hang a flag that says fuck Biden how welcoming is that. ??They have American flags everywhere and then they post a very clearly partisan banner. Kind of a turn off. We used to like some of the food items with fair prices. Not anymore. In fact, the menu items today don't even list prices on anything. Our favorite item was the club sandwich. It was $12 dollars a couple years ago. Last year it was $16 dollars. Today, I ordered one and it was $19 dollars and change. I didn't know this until it was rung up, due to no prices listed on anything. Oh well. I'm done getting food there. When a place dosen't even list prices, its not worth bothering with. Little did we know we would be waiting 2+ hours, only to be told that they "ran out of food". Look I know it's the river and nothing fancy, but being told by staff that it's not their fault because 3 people didn't show up to work is not an excuse to run out of food. If you were cutting it short you should have 1- stopped taking orders and 2 - told the people waiting with numbers ahead of time instead of 2.5 hours later. We are very understanding people but when the staff is openly fighting/yelling at each other in front of paying customers it is very unwelcoming and creates a hostile environment. The main cashier ended up refunding all our breakfasts thank goodness, but then offered to give us lunch on the house...unfortunately that didn't happen either. Sigh. I really hope they can get their business together and restore their restaurant to the glory days. I remember food was always good but the service we received yesterday, or lack there of, was very disappointing to say the least. This is for the restaurant not resort, but they don't have their own Yelp page set up. I have never been yelled at by waitresses...and I don't care to ever again! These people that work here must think that they can talk to customers like they don't matter. I went in to check on our friends food at over an hour, and got yelled at by the girls behind the register and in the kitchen. I was just checking on it, but left pissed off because their attitude was uncalled for. Sunday's are ALWAYS BUSY....I get it! Don't worry we won't be back, which doesn't bother me one bit. 2 stars for service. 5 stars for cold beer 5 stars for location. Husband and I are on our way back to Needles from a very long weekend in Phoenix. Bartender was extremely rude. After driving several hours across the hot desert in August I needed ice water. I brought my hydroflask in with the lid off so they could see I wasn't trying to bring anything in. I get the rules about that. She refused to look at my husband and I hate to play this card but he was the only Mexican there and I was in jeans so I'm sure she thought we were tourists. So unfortunate! Older woman so she was probably tired from the weekend. I hope that's all it was. However she was very attentive to the other patrons. Found a much friendlier spot also on the water.
