I was out camping with the hubby and dogs, this place kept coming up on insta. Took a chance and hit the dirt road of adventure to this bar. No disappointment at all. Dog friendly, even for my large 3 dogs, live music, good drinks, friendly atmosphere, food was delicious. Stayed for an hour or so because of the ambience and vibe, drinks didn't hurt either! We actually ate at La Miniera at the Ghost Mine. It's a new location Italian restaurant here. We have family that have a home in Havasu Palms so we're here a couple times year. We had the pizza, gluten-free pizza, the fettuccine, calamari and shrimp and a salad. Everything was delicious! The food here was amazing! So nice sitting in the air conditioned restaurant when it was 115° outside! Great service! Jake was amazing. We will be back again and again!! read more

We went here for lunch and it didn't disappoint! The food was delicious and the view was even better. Definitely a cool, fun, and enjoyable experience. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and got the burger, shared some fries. Everything is made to order. You pay for the food and pick it up at the pickup window. Food tasted good, everything was piping hot. Good flavors and fries were crunchy! This place is pretty much self serve. Find a table and sit down. Came by boat on a Tuesday afternoon in October. The vibes were amazing, docks were gorgeous, and ample seating with shade! You have to do a walk up to order and pick up your own food from the window. There's also a large bar and tons of drink choices. We ordered pulled pork sandwich, Mac n cheese, gyro, and ceviche, all of which was DELICIOUS! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE :( CLOSES EARLY WITHOUT NOTICE We visited here once and thought the food and atmosphere was pretty good (at that time we ordered a wrap, fries and burger), however this past weekend the experience was completely different.. we made sure to check hours online and saw that the place was open until 5:30pm. We arrived at 4:45pm and were greeted in the store by someone who quickly advised us the bar was closed as it has been slow all day. We didn't plan on ordering alcohol drinks so we went to order food and were promptly told that only fryers were operating so choices were limited to fries or fried food... we asked if we could order from the Italian restaurant menu and the staffer then told us we could (she didn't initially offer that as an option), so we ordered a pizza, Italian sausage sandwich (no cheese) and fries. The food came out and my husbands sandwich had cheese on it, he told this to the person who dropped off the food who brought the food back to the kitchen, he came back to us and made it seem like it was our fault - he said "that was actually provolone on the sandwich, since you just said no mozzarella they still sent the provolone. It's the last order of the day they are going to do". I guess at 5:15 that kitchen was closed now too... My husband and I just looked at each other - he's lactose intolerant and I clearly heard him say "no cheese" as I do with every meal he orders. Looking at the receipt, the girl who took our order put no mozzarella, instead of no cheese. Simple mistake but it shouldn't be made to be our fault. My husband's food was refired and so we all ate (we had our 1 year old and 4 year old with us). I noticed that staff were actively cleaning up around us, closing down the bar and putting away condiments and napkins. Not even halfway through eating, the music was turned off (shortly before that our little girl had been happily dancing to the music) and the misters keeping us cool were turned off. In 110 degree heat with small children I was then irritated and asked the bartender about this (why would they turn everything off when there were patrons still sitting and eating their food?) she offered an insincere "sorry" and told us we could go inside. I asked if she had a takeout container and she did not (that was inside as well). We quickly packed up, without finishing our meal as it was growing hotter outside. We couldn't even find any napkins to clean up our hands or the kiddos as they had all been put away on . I could see the indoor area was closed as well as we walked by. No one thanked us for coming, most staff had already left at that point.. seeing how we were treated, after spending $60+, i can understand why they were slow that day. Overall the food is decent, view by the water is nice but be careful about planning your trip, if it's anywhere close to 4:30-5 you may not be able to get any drinks or food... def didn't seem kid or family friendly to me at all. It's a shame we really wanted to like this place but I'm not sure if we will be back after being treated this way. read more

I give this place five stars because the staff was extremely friendly, food was good, and drinks were good. Came here for the first time after seeing it on Instagram. FOOD: The food was not only good, but the process of ordering and picking up the order was extremely well organized PARKING: Many people complain about Parking and yes, it is a little bit of a pain, but they are adding more docs. Also, it's a new place that everybody is trying so of course it's gonna be crowded but they do plan on adding more docs according to a couple of the workers. NOTE: according to the workers they are going to be adding a no wake zone as well, which is nice because inconsiderate drivers cause a ton of wake that moves the boat a lot. But that's no fault of the restaurant. DRINKS: Although I wish the buckets were a little bit bigger, they are reasonably priced and really good. Maybe in their future they can add small and large bucket options. ENVIRONMENT: Gift shop was super cool, and so is the bar with the misters. The perfect amount of mist that's not overwhelming. Only thing I think they could do better is not have metal chairs because of how hot it's gonna get, and have a foot rest at the bar. Overall, I think this place is super awesome and has the potential to be super cool. I'm taking in consideration that is not 100% done since you can tell there's still construction going on, but it's not in the way of boating. It's nice to have another bar and place to hang out. This time we drove our jeep to the Ghost Mine Saloon which wasn't a bad drive. The dirt road was better than the Desert Bar road. The food was very good and priced fair for what they have to do to get supplies and workers there. The only draw back was the music was way to loud to have a conversation and they bar tenders had a hard time hearing the orders. read more

We stopped get here Memorial Weekend. More docks would def help as we are one of the bigger boats that can only fit on the 2 outter docks...but really only the one on the right side because the dock on the left side is way too close to the rocks and restaurant. We waited at the bar for at least 10 minutes before being acknowledged by one of the 8 bartenders. Finally one walked by and said someone would be with us. I let the gentlemen next to us order first as he had been waiting a while before us. I ordered a Pina Colada and was not offered a rum floater. Easy upsell. Ceviche has no flavor. Needs some sort of flavored salt. Burger was eh. Fries were doused in salt. You have to order food from a food window separate from the bar. That's a bit of a hassle. The band was nice but the volume was too loud. If it was turned down a bit that would've helped. You're not allowed to leave with too it drinks like at The Naked Turtle or The Nautical. Overall service was meh. Walk ups can order from one side of the bar and it seems they get more precedence with service over people actually sitting at the bar seats. read more

Didn't want to make the drive to Pirate Cove so we stopped here for lunch. Understand it's a new location and with time would probably run smoother however. You order your own food, go and get your own food for the table, throw your own trash away and the payment portal asked for a tip!!Burgers and sandwiches don't come with a side. My $20 burger was cold. No free refills on soda. The piña colada was watery. No ranch for children's nuggets. Although the Caesar salad was delicious! Tables were dirty and had spiders. Not much shade. Would maybe invest in sun sail/canopy shades? To kind of make the heat bearable. Appreciated the misters! read more

They provide pagers but ours didn't work and they tried to give us our food that had been sitting for who knows how long saying they tried several times to call us. They did remake all our food and gave us free drinks, just disappointed in the customer service to attempt to give us the food tha had been sitting after spending over $100. Really wanted to like this place. Excited for a new spot on the water. First time we tried to go they closed early. Second time we made it in. No indoor seating exists, although they do have good misters. No table service for food or drinks. 4 burgers (plus 2 orders fries to share because burgers are a la carte) plus a kids Mac n cheese was $124! That didn't include any drinks. We said no thank you and went and had a wonderful meal at Havasu Springs with air conditioning, full service, and beverages for $85. Really sad Ghost Mine Saloon is overcharging to the point we had to vote with our dollars. They're even worse than Pirate's Cove up the river, and at least up there you get served and can choose indoors or outdoors. Giving 2 stars because the facilities are nice and the slips were nice and easy to use. read more

I am giving 5 stars because this is a new establishment and you can tell there has been a lot of love behind this place. With that being said, the servers here are NOT friendly. We have been 4x now since they've opened and every experience we have encountered bartenders and kitchen waitresses? (They take the orders at the window) that have been SOOOO unfriendly. Not just rude to us but honestly rude to our kids. I hope the owner has a chat with staff because in havasu "there are no bad days" and you got to just have a good attitude regardless of how busy or new you are. Hope this changes! read more

We went here on a normal, non holiday weekend, and it was terrible. You order your food at the window and drinks at the bar. Fine, no problem! Unfortunately, trying to get a drink was one of the most tasking jobs! Watch each bartender look at us sit down at the bar, and it took yes literally shouting excuse me for the one girl to even give us a drink menu. That took about 30 mins, after finishing our drink it took another 30 mins to close out our tab. Great views and great food! This is a much needed new destination on the water. We love the Philly and you can't go wrong with a burger and fries. Felicia, the store manager, is the best! They have great gear and souvenirs and they support local and small businesses and even carry other small business gear like Havasu Crew hats! It's such a good vibe! First off it doesn't matter how many umbrellas or misting units they have it's just not enough to keep the intense heat bearable. There should be some sail shades or something to help with the "3 o'clock" Sun that has absolutely NO MERCY.The chairs are black metal and as I'm sure you can guess they are HOT! You can't even touch them without getting burnt. The food is OVER PRICED, soda's are FLAT and refills are not free. We waited over 50 minutes for our food; it wasn't over crowded either. We learned after our 3rd inquiry as to what happened to our order that a single flyer went down. We should have been given a refund for OUR LONG WAIT. Only thing this business has going for it is that it's on the river and there isn't anything closer to "steam boat ". We tried, very bad experience, DONT RECOMMEND! read more

Pros: Property itself is really cool. Bartenders were fast and cocktails were tasty. Cons: Food was mediocre at best and the lady at the walk up counter was rude. There was also an older security guard that was extremely creepy. They are probably still working out the kinks of a new and fairly large bar/restaurant. Do yourself a favor don't go on a holiday weekend. Went yesterday, day after Thanksgiving. We were warned at the door by people leaving as they said good luck. Bartender only wait on people sitting at the bar. Lines on all sides 30 people deep. After one hour and ten minutes we gave up as so did so many other people. Maybe have a beer stand other than bar to purchase beer. Bathrooms are too small for all the people and toilets not flushing. Need to get more organized for more people. read more

Stopped in for the "soft opening' of Ghost Mine Saloon and was very impressed with the gold mine/ghost town vibe. There is no better destination or view on the water from Davis Dame to Parker Dam! You can literally watch people rip by at 100 mph from our seat while eating delicious food and sipping on the beverage of your choice. Walking through their store you'll see their brand of apparel as well as Havasu Crew, and a couple other local boating related small business gear. Once through the store you'll will notice that Niko's restaurant provides hot freshly cooked food at the food window. I'm always in a search for the best Philly cheesesteak in Havasu and I found it here at Ghost Mine Saloon! Tons of meat loaded with cheese dripping with flavor. I was so impressed I ordered it the next time we visited and was equally impressed! My wife got a burger and fries and she loved it. I like the fires flavor, crispnesses and the amount of fries offered. Beer and cocktails were cold and delicious. We spoke to Felicia, the store manager who seemed to be working everywhere as needed and learned so much about the history and future plans for the bar, adding several new docks, the store and the property itself. Felicia is awesome! Thank you for taking the time to make us feel welcome! We will stop in frequently but are looking forward to the official grand opening once everything is ready! read more
