Fast food gets really boring really fast, especially on road trips. Thank goodness Main Street Eatery isn't located too far from the freeway. This cute mom and pop shop serves a variety of good eats ranging from different types of burgers to sandwiches to salads to breakfast items (only available between opening to 11am). I stopped here yesterday (Tuesday of Thanksgiving) at around 1pm. You're suppose to seat yourself, but the staff came by quickly. Michelle was very patient and courteous, turns out she's the owner and shared her story of how Main Street Eatery opened! I'm surprised that this use to be a hot dog stand! I ordered the 1/2 veggie quesadilla with a side salad. The portion was huge, I ate 2 out of the 4 slices and boxed up the rest. I liked how real mushrooms and bell peppers were used and the entree tasted similar to home-cooking. Many places use canned ingredients, but at Main Street Eatery, you get the real deal. Restrooms are inside the laundromat next door, but they also share a door so you don't have to go outside. Ample parking, I'll be back again if I'm passing through. Thanks Michelle for the cool history lesson of the camels!

The place is the best stop in Quartzite for solid home cookin'! It's our favorite stop when traveling between AZ and CA. The food is great the service is ALWAYS friendly and you may wait to get seated, but your food will be served in a timely fashion and always good and hot! (Or cold if that's what you've ordered...:-) Unfortunately, if you want to try this place, (and you do) you'll need to hurry. Due to illness and a divorce, the Quartzite staple will be closing on Mar27, 2022.

We tried this Restaurant today. The staff is very friendly and on the ball. Checked on us several time to make sure we had anything we wanted. Today we both had the Spinach Salad, mine with blue cheese dress my wife with raspberry vinaigrette. Really good salad, we both decided we'll get it again. So many breakfast and lunch options, prices are great. If I recall the salad was $8.95.

Picked the highest rated restaurant in Quartzsite by fellow yelp reviewer. Food is very basic. Nothing fancy. Service was great. Friendly servers and fast service. Had split pea soup and grilled chicken salad. Split pea soup tastes homemade and was good. Wish they had more chicken on my salad.

Stopped by on the way back to California. Greeted by 2 super friendly servers with smiles and homey atmosphere. Ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and fries. Food was served quick and hot, sandwich was delicious:) Will come again

Passing through Quartzsite, my expectations of finding a decent restaurant was about nil. And entering the parking lot shared with the town laundromat didn't exactly help matters. The decor of the restaurant is nothing to write home about but it's very clean and the service we recieved was very good and friendly. And the food wasn't bad either. Well priced too. It's a bit weird being told to get to the restrooms you enter the laundromat and head toward the showers. Showers? Hm....interesting, but it was better than a truck stop at least.

For Quartzsite this place is 5 stars!! Plop it down in any normal big city and it would probably be 2 or 3 star... but since we are talking about Quartzsite it is probably the best in town!! This is a funky little mom 'n pop diner type place attached to a laundromat. The place is clean!! Our server was really friendly. We ordered 2 different types of grilled cheese. They were decent but a little too greasy. I think they use a lot of budder at this place! The French fries were good. We tried a bread pudding for dessert which they say is homemade. It was tasty and only $3.50! This is a good place to stop on your road trip to/from Arizona. It is a great place to 'people watch'... definitely a different world out in Quartzsite!!

Nice clean place with a great breakfast. We used to stop off at Tonopah, but decided to drive a little further. The staff was hospitable and the breakfast was very filling. What they need to work on is their coffee, which could be less watered down. If you have to use the restroom. it's in the other side of the building past the laundromat.

There was only one server, Josh, running the entire front of the house by himself. Apparently this is customary on Wednesdays. Before he could seat us, he had to clear off a table. Several tables were just in disarray and when people came in, this poor man had to scramble to clean something off. I went to the bathroom and one stall had absolutely no toilet paper or covers. And one dispenser had no soap. The bathroom was just yucky. When I came back, we still didn't have menus or drinks. When our food came, we asked for condiments that took too long that we ended up taking them from another table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The cook gave me a stale biscuit that just ruined my meal. I couldn't eat it or ask for it to be remade because Josh was too busy to check in on us or refill our drinks. I told him when he came to pick up the plates. He apologized, but he didn't remove it from the check. I paid $10 for a meal I couldn't eat. We got a piece of pie and the taste was kind of weird...like it had been freezer burned and then defrosted. The whole experience was disappointing.

Well here's the good and bad about our visit. The Good. We tried two of their burgers and they both were fantastic in flavor. We will be visiting again to try more of the menu. The Fries were crispy and fluffy inside. The Onion Rings were Excellent. Couldn't stop eating them. The staff were very friendly and the prices were very fair. There is seating inside and out. Now the Bad. The Burgers could be presented much nicer. Needs some improvement for sure. The Buns were not the nice Fluffy Buns shown in the adds. A bit smashed. Thats my only complaint The finale Burger Photo is from their Adds. A bit different than what we got. All in all the burgers were well worth going for. After she brought the Coke and water, we waited until 1:20. I asked another server about our pizza, and she said she would let our server know. After another 8 minutes, our server came over, expressionless, placed the pizza on the stand, and walked away without saying a word. At that point, I thought maybe she was just busy, so I didn't think much of it. But when we finished eating, my husband went to the restroom, and I got up to pay. I was looking around for our server when I saw her walking straight toward me with the bill and a plastic takeout box. Without saying a word, she placed them on the table and left. It felt incredibly rude. Now I feel like she was inexplicably rude to us the entire time, and I suspect it might be racial discrimination. Either way, I will never go back to this place!

Everything was tasty but I would make a few recommendations:…read more One is change the fake butter flavored spread or whatever it is that is used on the texas toast/sandwich bread - it cheapens the quality of your "homemade" food. Second, check the salad mix for rusty/brown/wilted bits - it totally killed the excitement I had to find your ranch dressing is yummy (i.e. not that cheap weird tangy crap many restaurants use) and my salad had ham bits but then it had like a 1/3 bad lettuce that I had to remove. Lasty, even though it's the end of the day and I know you are tired - front of the house customer service is equally as important to me as the quality of the food. It's imperative to be pleasant always and not make the customer feel like they are putting you out or burdening you - smile more at the very least - make me feel welcomed and want to back. Okay, sorry... one more - no one wants tomato slices as their only side veggie option - they were mealy, went straight in the trash, and that's just wasteful for your pocket and mine. There is no shortage of mixed veggies (frozen or canned) and I would be more than satisfied to have that as an option with real butter applied. That's just MHO - maybe the town likes tom slices and I'm way off... idk - I just didn't get it and I'm not a fan of that veggie option. Now the goods - prime rib was very flavorful (not quite med-rare as requested but the flavor made up for it), fish n chicken tenders was a good portion (though I don't think I was supposed to get 2 fish/2 chicken filets - it was still yummy along with the tarter sauce, and the salad with ham bits made me very happy... plus the ranch was quality (tasted like the good Ole hidden valley ranch dip packet w/sour cream which far exceeds that other bottled junk including the bottled version of its own, lol). Ambiance was fine for a diner but could benefit from a sprucing up to more match the feel of the outside of the building. A spring cleaning and a fresh slap of white paint to pick everything up inside. I like the little "gift shop" in the middle giving more privacy between tables. Overall, Steaks n Cakes is a much appreciated option in Blythe where a lot of quality dining options are lacking. Thanks y'all!

An older songtress was at the mic, crooning a sorrowful "Send in the Clowns" as we shuffled to our seats, some of us with a little extra boogie behind each step. I scanned the place and noticed there weren't any karaoke song/title books strewn about... we found out through our friendly waitress that you just tell the Karaoke Master the name of your song and you're good to go. 'Modern,' I thought to myself. I racked my brain for the perfect song for such a perfect place. Piano Man? The crowd did look pretty good for a Saturday. Sweet Caroline? Jesse's Girl? I didn't know. Brian suggested "Friends in Low Places" and we were off to the races. I put both my name and Brian's in for the song. 'It was going to be a duet,' I thought. Good. While we were waiting to entertain the crowd with our vocal talents, we ordered dinner and drinks. Everything was amazing, by the way. Finally, the time had come. The Karaoke Master announced our names, "Chris and Brian, you're up!" I gulped and tugged at my collar. I said to Brian, "Well, here goes nothing." He looked at me and said, "let's rock this place." His fist bumped mine. We both got out of our chairs and headed to the stage. I grabbed the mic, pulled it in close. The microphone smelled like beer. 'Damn,' I thought. 'We should've gone with Piano Man.' No matter, the show must go on. The screen said "Friends in Low Places" is sung in the key of A major, but I ignored it because I did not know what that meant. "Blame it on my roots," we sang. "I showed up in boots," we continued. By the time we got to the chorus, the crowd was up on its feet, the excitement palpable. The locals had started a line dance during the second verse and people were fighting to get to the dance floor. I can't remember if there was disco ball going at some point, but it *felt* like there was, you know? Our collective vocal modulations continued throughout the song, each verse getting somehow better, as if each of us was singing back-up to each other's lead vocals, hearts beating in unison, too. We won over the Big River crowd at Dumas Walkers that night. As Brian and I finished to what felt like thunderous applause, we headed back to our seats, hands clapping our backs, when I heard one patron whisper, "I'd hate to follow that." High praise, it felt good. "Chris, you're up!" the Karaoke Master announced. 'An encore,' I thought. 'Nice.' We stayed for dessert.
