While driving back to Palm Springs from Scottsdale, we read rave reviews of this little cafe and decided we needed a quick lunch to re-fuel ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy huge servings of Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, rice and butter naan -- all that and also greeted with a friendly smile as soon as we walked in. My family and I were driving through and looking for something different to eat than the usual. We found this little spot and it was pretty good for being in the middle of nowhere. We started with the samosa, aloo pakora, and chili chicken. The side sauces were delicious with the dark one being sweet and the green one spicy. The chili chicken was just the right heat, especially to my husband's liking where it was spicy but still enjoyable and full of flavor. Overall, this place was worth a try and we were glad we stopped by. Definitely be coming back! read more

I'm in the area for work every month or two and was intrigued when I saw this place open up. I stopped in for some takeout a few trips ago and now look forward to coming here anytime I'm nearby! The restaurant is clean and spacious with good restrooms. The menu isn't huge but seems like enough to please most palates. So far I've had the Paneer Pakora, Chicken Curry, Chicken Saag, and Garlic Naan and so far they've all been fantastic with portions big enough for two meals. The staff have all been great too - quick to help answer any questions, bring the food out hot and fresh, and offer up great conversation. I seriously can't say enough about how much I like this place and I'm already looking forward to stopping by on my next trip! read more

Great Indian food, very friendly and fast service! Ambiance was nice with a clean, open dining area, nice bathrooms and prices are very reasonable for the portion size . I had the Chicken Tika Masala (to-go but ate a little here and packed the rest for a road snacat a #7 out of 10 spicy which was perfect for me! . I've been driving past this restaurant building sitting vacant for years so it is really great to see it open and newly branded! Nice little Indian restaurant in the middle of the desert. The food is very flavorful and delicious. One of the guys that works there is so sweet and kind (I wish I knew his name) My only complaint is that they only have mostly chicken dishes as far as meat. Lots of vegetarian dishes. I wish they could do beef but I was told that their religion doesn't cook or serve beef dishes. It looks like they do a lot of business with truck drivers. It's nice that these drivers can stop and get a hot meal. It would be cool if they could play some Indian music in the background! The restaurant is clean and service is friendly. We have been hearing great things about Kofa Cafe so we had to try it. Simply decorated with plenty of seating. We were greeted and seated after the table was wiped off. We had the Aloo Gobi and Butter Chicken, both at hotness 7. The Aloo Gobi had perfect heat and the Butter Chicken could have been hotter. The taste of both was perfect and the rice was yummy. Oh man! We found this gem on a road trip. Very serendipitous discovery. Authentic Indian food. We loved their mango lassi. Their dishes all tasted home made with the freshest ingredients. The garlic naan was also good to pair with their butter chicken. We will be back. read more

Authentic and very tasty Indian food, this newly opened gem is a great stop in the middle of somewhere during our road trip from Lake Havasu to Scottsdale, Az. We ordered butter chicken, curry goat,samoza with the topping, garlic naan. Aahhhmazing! Friendly service, and although they just opened a week, the authenticity of the Indian flavor made up for the overwhelmed servers who were catering to the few of us who seemed to be travelers too.
