Tried out this small Indian spot not really knowing what to expect since I'm not too familiar with the area--but I ended up being pleasantly surprised! It's a tiny place, mostly set up for takeout with just a few seats inside, but that didn't bother me. The person at the counter was super friendly and took the time to explain a few of the dishes, which was really helpful. I ordered the Chicken Tandoori, Tikka Masala, and Biryani--all of them were really tasty and the portions were solid. Honestly, this place turned out to be a great find. I'd definitely come back when I'm craving some good Indian takeout! read more

You definitely have to search for this place, drive to the back of the truck stop and it's next to an oil change/truck wash spot. Ordered the chicken tikka masala and special lamb biryani with a naan. ~$40 & so worth it. Enough to take home. It's a no frills, truck stop, pick up place, but the food is yummy. Spice on point! We ordered at a 7/10, spicy but still enjoyable. They'll ask you how hot you want it, 0-10. Naan is fresh, lamb was slow cooked and tender, spices well balanced. Like a party in your mouth. Sweet, savory, herby, cooled by the yogurt sauce, spicy, buttery and everything in between. We aren't in the area too often, but it's a great find if you are on your way to CA, on your way back, or are in the Buckeye area for any reason. Everything on the menu sounded delish. read more

I think I was too quick to judge this place as it's on the outskirts and everything. I think this is the best Indian food I've had. Got some for pick up and the chicken tandoori and tikka Malasa were tender and so delicious. I was sad to forget some pickle at the table but for sure next time I won't ! It took a while to make but it is a small spot so I don't blame them. read more

5 star!!! Do not sleep on this place!!! Food is incredible. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and this place ranks very high on my list. I always want my Indian nuclear levels of spicy. And at most places it's mild at best. The biryani actually had a good kick to it. The best part was the staff. The guy who took my order was a gem! Chicken tikka masala 4.5/5. It was a *little*sweet, but not in a bad way. I've had tikka masala where it tasted like pure sugar. This was not that. The flavors were complex and delicious. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Chicken biryani 5/5. The chicken was moist, tender and packed with flavor. And it was SPICY. It's not like the more mainstream biryani; however, it is now one of my favorites. Basmati rice 5/5. So random. We went here purely because of yelp reviews and we are thrilled we did! Honestly, you'll think you are walking into a car wash... or drug front? Zero ambiance. But the smells when you walk in - yummm. We ordered chicken tikka, rice, and naan. All absolutely delicious. And the service was great. We were driving through and needed a good place for dinner. Although it is near the highway, it is a bit tucked away. As long as you know it is by the truck wash you'll feel confident to find it. The interior is casual dining and it seems they do good take away business as well. The menu had lots of options including vegetarian and gluten free dishes. The food we ordered was delicious. I had the dal makhani, and the family ordered chicken biryani, goat curry and naan. We mostly ordered 5-6 on their spicy scale and that wasn't crazy hot. The non-rice based mains came with a serving of rice and the goat curry came with raita. Their single serving of naan was generous. The food came packaged on a tray like we were talking it to go which worked out because we had leftovers we wanted to take with us. read more

I have been planning to try Punjabi Dhabi in Buckeye just off Miller Road every-time I see it is ranked #1 in Yelp for the area. The restaurant is located through the reception sign of the truck car wash behinds Loves. There was a constant flow of customers stopping by. I waited and took my order to go even though they have clean booths and tables to sit at. I opted for the classic chicken tikka masala which comes with a small side of rice. It was very very good. They asked for my heat level and I opted for medium-which I now feel slightly on my lips. I will definitely go back and try others items. I ordered two garlic naan which was cut in half so four large halves but I really only needed one. Maybe since I drove home with my take away the Naan was a little chewy but still decent. This place is a huge NO for me. If you want to get an idea of how clean the kitchen is, simply look around the lobby. It's freaking disgustingly dirty! The food was stale like it had been prepared days before and reheated like leftovers. The naan is tough. Just gross. read more

Speedy Punjabi Dhaba is a hole in a truck wash wall, packed with surprising flavor - even by the tub if you wish! As a Punjabi truck driver, there is nothing I crave more during a 6 hour drive than some dhaba. Despite the chana masala gravy being tomato-less, the chicken Tikka masala was outstanding! Now I know people aren't driving alllllll the way out here to Miller Rd in Buckeye to grab Indian cuisine, but if you happen to be in the area, give this spot a try. I first heard about it in local FB groups and was a little concerned about the location, and that it's here in Buckeye, competing against tacos and burgers, but I am so thankful to have this place a mile from home. We will absolutely be going back again and again. They don't have online ordering, and when trying to order by phone, there was no answer. Not an issue though, less than 20 mins to drive there, order, and get back home. The service was great, and my husband even said "the guy was very pleased with the amount of food I ordered" haha! I didn't take pictures of everything, but what we got: Butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, tandoori chicken, palak paneer, garlic naan, rice pudding, and mango lassi. I make butter chicken and chicken Tikka masala and this was every bit as amazing as what I make. The tandoori chicken was fan-freaking-phenomenal! I could have eaten just that and been completely satisfied. Incredible, get it! I wasn't a fan of the mango lassi, I don't know if it was because it was warm, or maybe just too much turmeric for my taste, but I wanted to like it. Anyways, give this place a shot! Tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Tandoori Chicken. Woah! Delicious! Never had Indian Food before but the hubs wanted to try it. VERY good flavors! And nice portions. Driving through Phoenix area, we looked for any well reviewed restaurant as it was lunch time and we were hungry. I saw the reviews for this place and began directing my husband to get there.....when we pulled into a truck stop/truck wash, I thought I followed the wrong directions. Luckily my uncle pushed us to investigate further and we finally noticed a sign. We wondered what we were in for but we were trusting the reviews of those that went before us! I was glad we stayed the course! Absolutely delicious! i had the chicken curry, level 7 spice. Nice and spicy, thoroughly enjoyable. Service was friendly and helpful. I got the Tikka misala, and it was very good. The sauce was amazing. I wish it had come with more chicken. Service was very friendly The building was in an odd location in a truck wash building. But that's usually a good sign that the food is going to be very good My only complaint was there wasn't enough chicken in my opinion. But maybe I just have a huge appetite. read more

Though the location was a bit difficult to find, the food was fresh and had a homemade appeal. The staff was super friendly, and the seating was comfortable. We had the butter chicken, chicken curry, and garlic naan. Everything was delivered in a bag with plates, forks, and napkins ready to eat. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to them not having any beverages to purchase other than hot Chai and a yogurt drink. Had a fantastic lunch here on Saturday. In a newish truck stop, so nothing fancy, just delicious. From the chai tea to the mango lassa, the meal was well prepared. If spice is too much, I suggest mild plus. Our meal took about 20 minutes to prepare, so if in a rush, call ahead. You will enjoy! read more

Stop by this place on our way to California from Phoenix. Location is next to an automatic truck wash. It was quiet when we got there, with one other family eating together. Amazing butter chicken with rice, creamy and delicious! Garlic naan was so good too. I haven't had Indian food in a while and it hit the spot. Excellent service, super helpful. We loved the plates and the serving dishes because of the charm we thought they had. Now they use these more American looking serving dishes that are just a huge bummer and look stale. But the reason why we came was because of the flavor, the seasoning was delicious. Now it tastes watered down. Like there is less cumin and a few other spices? Perhaps. Our favorite dish was the gobi Manchurian, we used to come because of how good it used to be. Now even that has lost its flavor. Even the cauliflower that was used today looked sad and watered down. With the prices that have gone up dramatically, the food losing its flavor, and the charm gone from the serving dishes I'm sad to say we won't come back. We were okay paying even double if it was just the same as before. Now you could NOT even pay me to eat here. I want to add that I think their customer service is great, the staff is always friendly, so it has nothing to do with that. Just the changes someone chose to make. My family and I are really sad because we feel like we've lost our favorite restaurant and now we have to find a new place. I hope everyone else enjoys the changes because we do not.

I am glad that this is the case because it was a little more than what I was expecting to spend. However, I do think that the price was okay for dinner. Another note that I will offer about the food is that they do allow you to customize the spice levels, which is nice. The service was more than I had ever expected, especially for just having placed a to go order. They allowed me to sit inside the restaurant while I waited for my food, noted that I was waiting on my order so that it would come out in a reasonable time, and also offered me a to go water while I was waiting. The containers that my food came in are honestly ones that I could reuse. The ambience of the restaurant is also nice. There is a nice patio with different types of seating to accommodate all needs. The inside has a nice bar and they have music playing at a volume that allows you to listen, but it's not too loud. There is also a separate parking lot across the street that is reserved for customers of the restaurant, which is really nice since it is located in downtown. I will definitely be coming back to dine in.
