There's a reason this total dive is 5 stars. The cook makes excellent food, like shockingly good. The best breakfast by a landslide. Not that there's anywhere else to go, lol, but its really good. So I went with a group of people here and I really had a lot of fun. Me and my friend Kenny we played pool and talked s***, and played more pool and talked more s***. They served food and it was good they had music it was good too. Normally I try to avoid drinking because I've decided that I'm too big and fat to run up and down the street striping off my clothes, but that night I drank delicious Long Island iced teas. I think this place can be wrapped up in one word - mediocre. don't expect anything pleasant, and you may not walk out bummed out. I've had an undercooked pizza here, tasteless wings, cold and tasteless french fries, and so so service. However, I will give them more than one star because the options here are slim and I will take the meh food over no options. read more

I've been a great defender of the Sail Inn. I have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere here. This place is very sentimental to me. My adult kids learned to play pool and darts here and my youngest son ordered his first beer on his 21st Birthday here. So many fond memories through the years but not anymore. No pool table, no darts, no dj jukebox playing. Unfortunately food service is just aweful and I don't blame the servers , they are doing what they can with what they have. We arrived around 7:30pm ordered our food. After 30 minutes of waiting we were told they couldn't defrost the rib eye and we would not be getting our pizza because there was five ahead of us. How do you not know this when we ordered ?? We recieved our cheese curds, Buffalo wings and fish and chips an 1 hr and 10 minutes later .And as for the bar, well, horrible quality rum and coke or was it Pepsi ?? I have no idea but it was no where near what they use to be. This use to be our favorite dive bar and place to eat when at The Landing. So sad it has lost its appeal but I guess when you are the only restuarant besides the Casino you can provide poor service and have the upper hand because food is a necessity. So sad the Sail Inm just isn't what it use to be. read more

There's only so much to do in the havasu landing resort. Most people will play at the casino or drink t the hotel bar. If dive bars are your thing Sail Inn doesn't disappoint. I always get the ribeye it's always good others haven't been as happy. Dad got a Chili size came out with no chili open face burger lots of onions. Better on the off weekends or mid week. The place is split in half between a bar and restaurant area's. The wait staff is usually as friendly as you are with them and how busy it is. In other words be nice and have patience, it's not a fast food place. You have to understand that this is not the big city but a small community so don't expect a 4 or 5 star place. It's where the locals and vacationers come for good home cooked food. The portions are good and they have specials including taco Tuesdays. It's busier in summertime with all the vacationers so it can take a bit longer to get your food. The only competition is the restaurant at the casino, but this place is a bit better for taste and consistency. It's ok for families so don't worry about bringing the kids. read more

Friendly service, good size portions for food, and great prices. We ordered the club sandwich on sourdough and the Philly cheese steak. Both were huge and came with choice of fries or onion rings. It was like the unknown diner you watch on Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives that you want to try! I guarantee that all the locals agree! Also came in for Taco Tuesday one night on a solar appointment and was impressed not only with the prices but the homemade quality of the food! Cool little dive bar/food stop! The bloody Mary's are rockin and the service is like you're at home. My boyfriend ordered the wings saying they were "pretty damn good". It's nice to know that people still put quality to what they do. Had breakfast and dinner both really good. Rib eye flavorful good sized meal fit for a king as good as a fine steak house without the fancy plates and decor. Chicken fried steak ( perfect) for breakfast yum! This is a fun place to go. The food is great, Pizza, Prime rib on sat. nite, which alternates with baby back ribs the next sat. nite. Crab legs are good too. The bar has great prices. well, still 2.50 a drink. If you live in Lake Havasu City, just hop on the Dream Catcher Boat, runs every hour and walk up past the Chemuevi Casino, about 2 city blocks and there you are. You can call up there also and they will find someone to pick you up and take you back to the casino. Sports channels in every corner, the only pool table over there. First off....Where the Hell else you going to go? Sure you could go to Havasu Landing restaraunt but, you won't get as good of a breakfast there. Sail inn is not all about ambiance so you won't be able to Romance your girlfriend there. On the holidays this place is hoping with the people from the landing and they may have a band or Kareokee. The Sail Inn bar and restaurant was my favorite place during my month camping at Lake Havasu. I give it 5 stars for its amazingly friendly owners. In all my travels and all the breakfast burritos I've had (many many) the best was here. They made-to-order their normal breakfast burrito as a vegetarian option and it was amazing. The perfect mixture of crunchiness and juiciness, lots of veggies, good cheese - but not so much as to cheat (too much cheese IS cheating, since cheese makes anything good), and huge for the price size. read more

The foods always good and the crowd is local with the usual weekenders mixed in. Good times . Patty melt and burgers are always good , pizza ain't half bad either .
