I hadn't been to a Denny's in years but we were traveling and starving so we stopped here for breakfast, the place was clean, our server was polite but I was totally disappointed that they didn't have oatmeal on their menu because that's what I wanted, ok so I ordered the veggie omelette and it was extremely cheesy with not a lot of flavor, I tried to order sourdough toast and they were out, what? I tried to order a waffle but they were out... What?? Just an all around weird experience. read more

THE BEST PLACE TO STOP!! We stopped here on our way from CA to AZ and were truly blown away with how delicious the food here was. We have Denny's at home but the flavors do not compare to this one! They are open 24/7 (which was great because we ended up around there at 10pm). Despite it being late, the waitress that was there was SUPER energetic and helpful and had lots of great food recommendations for us. The food came out really quickly and we were genuinely impressed with how delicious the food came out that we stopped by again on the way back home. The vibes inside were also really cozy and comfortable which was perfect after the drive. I hope everyone has a chance to try this place out!! read more

Food was ok , Kylie our server made us feel as if everything we ask for was making her go wayyyy out her way and a major inconvenience. it's so disappointing that a franchise like this is hiring such incompetent workers and when I mentioned it at the register the lady just laughed as if she knew how shitty the service at this location was , zero accountability . And the this location needs major repairs and renovations along with a really really good deep clean . Don't waste time coming here I'm sure McDonald's will give you way better service read more

Visited 12/6/2021 In a town such as Blythe with very few choices in sit down restaurants this Denny's is in the lead. For breakfast only the two that I know of Denny's and the old Greasy spoon Steaks & Shakes Denny's is the Top Choice. I Love The Santa Fe sizzling skillet. Breakfast potatoes with chorizo and onions and bell peppers topped with two eggs any way you like them. It's definitely a winner. The chicken fried steak and eggs are OK but nothing special. Very good fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee is not bad either. For lunch or dinner I would stick with the bourbon bacon cheeseburger and an extra patty or meat. Another one of my favorites. The fries are pretty darn good to. Just thought it was time for an update on my original rating. The staff is very very friendly and service is quick and efficient. We were disappointed with this Denny's in Blythe California.We were seated and were given the menu but nobody came to ask our order . We waited for almost 15 minutes and they didn't even bother to offer water. The waitresses just ignored us and stood around talking to their friends .So we just walked away. Sakea T was our server and did a phenomenal job. Right after she took our orders, a large group of Asians were seated next to us (about 20 people). Only a few of them spoke English and Sakea handled their orders remarkably well. She also made sure her other tables were taken care of. She made sure our food was brought to us hot and made sure coffee was refilled as needed. She is an amazing server and this Dennys is lucky to have her on their team. read more

By far the best Dennys I've been to yet. Looks can be deceiving but don't judge this book by its cover! There is a hidden gem inside, the staff! Never have I seen such a diverse group of people working together, getting along, happy & having fun serving others. Food was great & didn't have to wait long & Customer service was exceptional. Driving by this place I try to place an order over the phone nobody answer after a several attempts, I decided to walk in to order my food, I try a couple of dishes on the menu and she keeps telling me we don't have it "it my be in the menu but we don't have" not even a simple green salad then some came from the kitchen with two huge bags green salad I just didn't say anything. I know for fact that Denny's is not the best place to eat but it's very practical for travelers, this place need a serious customer service improvement. read more

We always stopped by this restaurant as soon as we crossed Arizona state line. Very friendly and welcoming service. Our server Clara is a gem. She is very attentive, frequently checked on us to refill our coffee or asked if we liked our food... Food was delicious, by the way. My husband got his favorite Philly cheese steak omelette and I got an Ultimate omelette, both were prepared perfectly. They were so yummy. Thanks to the chef. Good food, good service. Ok Denny's is Denny's, you can't expect gourmet. But I have to say that we were seated quickly on a busy day, and the food was fresh, fast, and well cooked. We had the ultimate omelette and crepes. Lisa was our wait staff and she was exceptional. We like our coffee darker than Denny's normal, and she doubled up the grounds for a richer cup! Who does that? She was also very attentive.... I loved this dennys it still has that old style feeling to it, the customer service is great m, I was constantly checked on and asked if I was doing ok.the food was perfect hash browns made just right. Drink was served with a straw which is hard to get nowadays,clean tables the line was moderately long but they were fast enough to keep it moving moderately. Got to Denny's. Used to be our stop years ago when heading to California from Arizona. We were never overly impressed, but it was "our stop". Stopped this time and after we were seated and looked at the menu, the waitress informed us we could get no chicken or salmon dishes because they were out of chicken and salmon. HOW CAN YOU RUN A RESTAURANT AND BE OUT OF CHICKEN AND SALMON?? We ordered half a Nacho appetizer which was canned chili and canned nacho cheese. No more stopping here. read more

Okay, sorry... one more - no one wants tomato slices as their only side veggie option - they were mealy, went straight in the trash, and that's just wasteful for your pocket and mine. There is no shortage of mixed veggies (frozen or canned) and I would be more than satisfied to have that as an option with real butter applied. That's just MHO - maybe the town likes tom slices and I'm way off... idk - I just didn't get it and I'm not a fan of that veggie option. Now the goods - prime rib was very flavorful (not quite med-rare as requested but the flavor made up for it), fish n chicken tenders was a good portion (though I don't think I was supposed to get 2 fish/2 chicken filets - it was still yummy along with the tarter sauce, and the salad with ham bits made me very happy... plus the ranch was quality (tasted like the good Ole hidden valley ranch dip packet w/sour cream which far exceeds that other bottled junk including the bottled version of its own, lol). Ambiance was fine for a diner but could benefit from a sprucing up to more match the feel of the outside of the building. A spring cleaning and a fresh slap of white paint to pick everything up inside. I like the little "gift shop" in the middle giving more privacy between tables. Overall, Steaks n Cakes is a much appreciated option in Blythe where a lot of quality dining options are lacking. Thanks y'all!

Man I was so disappointed today with fish basket. I thought for sure it was gonna be great after…read moreour last experience here. Honestly, it looked really good but there was just no flavor, the fish was dry and the breading was hard to chew. Maybe just an off day for the cook because my French fries were also a bit undercooked. My husband ordered a turkey club sandwich and said it was really good. We had good friendly service! Hopefully next time on our drive through, I'll have a better experience. Not counting you out yet ;)
