Food is fine, what you would expect for a Denny's. Slow food delivery though. Most importantly, however, the women's restroom smelled like backed up sewage. We had been through two days before and the problem was still there when we came back. It is the middle of the week so there's no excuse of "it's the weekend and nobody is available" to fix it. So my mom ordered a cali taco skillet which states you can add chorizo for 99 cents the skillet still came out with chorizo( my mom does not like chorizo) I also ordered two eggs asa side did not receive those when we went to check out and told the waitress about the chorizo she said "oh it comes with it" and I told her that it was an optional on the menu and the description did not have any meat in the skillet as well I was just upset this her attitude now I did still tip good but just wanted to get it out here that they will try to charge you for items you didn't want / get read more

They do not care about the food they serve. I originaly ordered the Eggs Benny, but the Hollandaise sauce was awful. It was inedible in my opinion. The hashbrowns were a beautiful crisp brown color, though. I did get the attention of the waiter and requested a different order because I could not stand the sauce. He was nice enough to change my plate. Since the hashbrowns looked great and untouched, I thought I would ask just to add 2 eggs, toast, and sausage to do the "Create your own Grand Slam". He told me he would have the cooks remake the hashbrowns, too. When my plate was delivered, I was immediately disappointed again. I got undercooked hashbrowns. My eggs over-medium were barely over-easy, the whites were runny and gooey instead of just the yolk being runny. The sausage was not even warm, it was so undercooked. I have never been more disappointed in an experience. I ate toast and a little of the cooked egg for $9. AVOID this place!! ROTTEN EGGS! A friend and I stopped in on Friday night (7/28/23) for a quick breakfast after a night out. I had a grand slam breakfast that smelled a bit "off." When I broke the yolk on the second egg, the STINK hit us both. The egg was ROTTEN! Unfortunately, I had a piece of the egg white in my mouth and it tasted horrible. I spit it out and then went to the ladies room to rinse my mouth out. We called the waiter over and told him about the rotten eggs, and no, I don't want another breakfast. He brought the bill and left the breakfast with the rotten eggs on the bill!! We asked him to remove the charge since it was inedible. He REFUSED and said the best he could do was refund 10%. When the manager came in, he removed the charge and the waiter said the egg wasn't rotten only "over-easy." We both told the manager that the egg was rotten. The manager said, "Well, I don't see any reason for my employee to lie to me." Unbelievable! HORRIBLE restaurant, rotten eggs, and nasty waiter. read more

Restaurant setting is clean and quaint. Has some throwback diner decor which I like. Food was what you would expect from a Dennys. They have kids eat free promo going on Tues and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm. They also have some cool Star Wars cups and promo items right now. Good place to stop between Albuquerque and Utah for a quick sit down meal. Edit: used restroom before we left. There was an old blood stain dripping down front of toilet bowl. Makes me feel sick thinking of the conditions of other areas unseen at this place! read more

Simple review: This is Denny's! It's like... a Denny's. Basic food. We were staying at the Days Inn less than a mile away and breakfast sounded good. I got something off there 2-4-6 menu (or whatever it's called) which means I got bacon, eggs n pancakes for $4. I added Hatch chilies (because I was in New Mexico of course) and all was right that night. Teresa, our waitress, was a cheerful late nite experience. Food service is very slow, even a slow night. When my family and I got here, it was only one group of people eating. It took about 20 mins for our food to come out when our waiter told us it would 5 mins. 20 min wait on a very slow night is unacceptable. There's enough staff to be moving around and cleaning up other tables but they weren't doin anything and the tables were still dirty by the time we left. Even getting 2 cups of coffee to go took another 20 mins to get to our table. All in all, if you're not in a hurry you can eat here. It's a very slow service. read more

Took a long time to get seated, although it wasn't busy. Food was good - typical Denny's fare. Waited forever again to pay, and informed the cashier that we were overcharged for one plate. The cashier had no decision- making authority, she would have had to call her manager. Based on the time it took just to get seated, we paid the full price. Dude, my road-trip made me a huge fan of Denny's. Hell yeah for their special $2,$4,$6, menu. That ish was amazing on a budget. I got a good size quesadilla for only $2 amongst other things!!! We had awesome waitresses at all our Denny's stops. Also, when my debit card swipey strip thing stopped working I didn't have to ask the cashier to type it in manually, she took it upon herself. I have a long history with Denny's. My father was a breakfast cook and my mother waited tables many, many years ago (I won't age myself). There was a time when Denny's, as a whole, was really good - that's when the staff cared about what they were doing and the food & service was really good. Over the past 10 years or so, I've tried to relive those great moments at several Denny's restaurants around the country with absolute complete disappointment. Let me be honest, I never thought I'd set foot in a Denny's after having dined at the Santa Fe location a couple of years ago. This morning I found myself in a hotel in Bernalillo for an important court date (don't ask, don't tell) and my companion and I ended up at this Denny's only because of the weak attempt at a continental breakfast across the street. Wow!! What a pleasant surprise! Can I just say that everything here was spot on. Our server was attentive, asked us how we were doing, several times, and kept our coffee and water filled. In addition to that, she actually anticipated our needs - yes, this actually happened. As a chef, I can tell you that breakfast is one of the more difficult meals to execute but whoever was in the kitchen here knew exactly what they were doing. My food could not have been any better - it was served quickly and accurately. My toast was even cooked dark just like I asked. And to top things off, the manager actually came around and asked how everything was - I don't see that very often anymore. I couldn't recommend this location any more based on the service and food today. I only wished I had to go to court more often now. sigh. read more
