Not too bad but it was closer to 15!! Great surprise!!! Then after we were seated the waitress came over. I cannot remember her name but we were near the bar and it started with an L - beat server ever!! Not only was she always checking on us in a packed house, she always made sure we had drinks and asked if we needed anything else. Okay the food! We started with calamari and mozzarella sticks and the biscuits. We found the mozzarella sticks were just mid. Same with the biscuits. We felt they were dry and not as buttery as in past visits. Do you all remember when red lobster tried mixing broccoli with the calamari so you looked like you had a lot but it was really all broccoli?? Well the plate and serving looked the same - piled high and a lot of food but get this - it was all calamari!!! Very good!! I love they had the calories on the menu so I could make an I formed decision! I had shrimp my way with two servings of Walt's shrimp and asparagus = 260 x 2 +90= 610 calories! About 120 grams of protein! Asparagus was cooked perfectly!! With my iced tea unsweetened it was a great meal and I did not finish the shrimp so I have a good lunch today!! Shortly after, I received a call from a Missouri number (637-928-1161). It was another Red Lobster location asking why we had not picked up our order. They confirmed the order existed and apologized, explaining that issues with their call center are common. For transparency and accuracy, both phone conversations referenced above were recorded. These recordings confirm that the order was placed and highlight the breakdown in communication between the call center and the local restaurant. This confirmed that the mistake was not ours, but rather a breakdown in your company's systems and communication. The lack of professionalism and accountability from the on-site manager turned what could have been a simple recovery opportunity into a deeply negative experience. I am sharing this not just out of frustration, but as honest feedback. I'll start by saying I'm typically not a seafood person, but I was super impressed by our visit to RL in Albuquerque on Coors bypass today! We received a gift card for Christmas that we've been needing to use so we stopped by to check it out for lunch. We were greeted kindly upon entering and promptly seated at a booth in the bar area. The staff all acknowledged our arrival and everyone was super kind and professional. I was most impressed by our lunch fair and the offerings. The restaurant was clean and well maintained and the food was excellent! They have a weekday shrimp trio for only $15.99 and the plate is huge! I would've paid 30 bucks for it! August 5, 2023. Saturday. Dinner. Wife and I visited here at 8 PM to use a gift card. Coming so late, we definitely arrived after the hordes had feasted. There were very few tables occupied. After looking over the menu, we decided to share the Ultimate Feast for $40.99. This included two premium entree selections, two classic entree selections, and two sides. For premium entrees we picked: Snow crab legs and grilled sea scallops. Our classic selections: garlic shrimp scampi and Walt's favorite shrimp. Originally my wife picked the Parrot Isle jumbo coconut shrimp, but the waitress returned to tell us this had been sold out. The joys of dining late. We ordered mashed potatoes and orzo rice for our sides. The cheesy herb biscuits were delivered to our table piping hot. These haven't changed and are 5-star biscuits! The crab legs were delivered warm and the crab meat inside tasted a bit dry. Scallops came out a bit chewy, but both shrimp dishes were great. Orzo rice very dry until I added the scampi butter to it. The premium dishes were just average, but the classic shrimp dishes were much better. Wish they hadn't run out of the jumbo coconut shrimp. We caught wind that that endless shrimp was now an everyday thing, so we stopped in. The hostess told us we just missed the dinner rush, so we were thinking this is good since it's not going to be crazy. Our experience at this location was very average. Our waitress who was new was doing the multiple jobs, so I don't blame them for not being able to keep up with keeping tabs on us, but it took way too long to get our first set of dishes. I caught someone eyeing our table to see if our food came out and it didn't. After getting our first set of dishes, we put in a few more orders and the service was just slow and this again was after the dinner rush. I had to wait way too long in-between dishes. The endless shrimp ended when I gave up trying to enjoy it. The shrimps tasted great, when we got them, but to wait soooo long to get your next severing just kills the joy of endless shrimp. Our waitress was nice, but they had her doing way too many things to keep up with everything. This affected our experience. Let's start with the service..... It's horrible! I will say at least the customer areas are generally clean. Got the drink order wrong. Ordered tea and water no lemon. Frankly I do this because I know from my own restaurant experience that many employees forget to wash them prior to cutting. Then they end up in your drink unwashed. Server volunteered to get new drinks. And then on the way to the restroom I saw him reach into my glass and pull the lemon out. So not only maybe an unwashed lemon. Now we know fingers into the drink. Downhill from here..... Over 30 minutes for food to arrive and it arrived in waves. Some of us didn't get our main courses at the same time (10 minutes apart), and some of us got our sides even later. The 3 year old in our group got his food last. One of us kept getting promised our side was "coming right up, 1.5 minutes away". It was after they had eaten their entire meal when the manager (maybe) came out to say "the side would still be a while, it would be taken off the bill and still provided when cooked, to take home". The side was declined. Since it was included I. The price of the meal, not really sure how it was removed from the bill. The serf and turf is a disappointment in both quality and quantity. We visited the restaurant last evening. We dined on the ultra-delicious Ultimate Feast and wonderful crab. Our server, Logan, was outstanding! Logan took the time to explain exactly what our meals would consist of, and pointed out extras that we might be interested in. He served our meals flawlessly. He stopped by our table the perfect amount of times to check on how we were doing, and whether we needed more water. Logan had mistakenly been told by the kitchen staff that there were no more baked potatoes, but he took the time to verify that, and indeed, brought us baked potatoes, much to our delight. No matter how busy he was or how often we stopped him to request extras, he always listened patiently and never forgot to bring us exactly what we had asked for. That sandwich was very large, very tasty, and the coleslaw on top was the chefs kiss. It's Lent! I can't eat meat on Friday so my daughter & I decided to go eat at Red Lobster. We hadn't eaten there since before COVID. They have a Fish & Chip special for $13.99 on Fridays. Wow! Large Portions & Delicious! We had outstanding customer service everyone was so nice ! I can't wait until next Friday to go again! Very kid friendly place!! As a parent, one of my main concerns when going out to a new restaurant is whether or not the restaurant is child friendly. This restaurant is a great place to bring your children. They have coloring book menus, cheaper priced kids meal options and even little cups for the kids, which I appreciated. The food was delicious. I ordered the three course meal (which is quite the deal) with the house salad, coconut shrimp, and the blackened salmon. It's Mother's Day and decided this would be our destination. Pull into the parking lot and it becomes obvious that a lot of other people had the same idea. Have no fear - "Join the Waitlist" saved the day. Walked in and was seated right away. Our server shows up for drink orders and returns shortly with drinks & biscuits and ready to take our order. Endless Shrimp - coconut & shrimp skewer and the Cajun Shrimp Trio. Prepared for a wait our food came out faster than expected. The skewer was nicely charred, fried shrimps nice & brown and the scampi, still bubbling garlic butter bath. Everything was delicious and our server returned frequently to make sure we didn't need anything. The service alone made the meal. The last time we had Red Lobster my wife and I decided to stay in and order delivery. 55 minutes later on a Friday night (which was not a big deal, I understand Friday's are often busy) we received our order. Well...some of it. Missing a whole Lobster tail and a salad. How can you literally leave out a lobster tail? When I called I was told they were too busy to help me, I said "I'll wait". I was hesitant to order as I wanted to sample a lot of the food, and our waitress Eaby was especially helpful in getting me a diverse plate of flavors and I neither felt impatience or urgency from the waiting staff. The experience was designed so I had a happy dining experience, not an express one. That isn't to say it wasn't fast, however! From time of order of starters and drinks, drinks arrived ~2 minutes from order and our starter another ~2 minutes after. From time of main dish ordering to arrival was near ~10 minutes. What we couldn't finish we were sent home with a well-fitted microwave safe bowls and whatnot, as well as takeout cups of the soft drink we had been sipping throughout the meal. Went to Red Lobster for a New Years Eve meal and encountered a few problems. The wait was about 30 minutes which is usual. Once we were seated, our hostess sneezed on our silverware and proceeded to give them to us anyway and walk away. We notified our server and she took them away and set them aside. Immediately after, the same hostess came back and gave us the same sneezed on silverware that the server just took away. So we got the contaminated silverware twice. We found this unacceptable, especially considering one member of our party is immunocompromised and the type of behavior that the hostess portrayed could have been devastating for our family. I wanted to have Red Lobster biscuits and didn't feel like making them myself so we decided to give Red Lobster another try. We ordered a flounder sandwich, the sailors platter but then was made aware there is no popcorn shrimp so I ordered fried fish and fried clams, and my daughter ordered mac and cheese, We asked if we could have biscuits while we wait. We had 3 refills of drinks and waited 45 minutes to receive our order (we were going to get up and leave just as the order showed up) and 3 minutes after our order showed up the biscuits came. We had to send the flounder sandwich back because the coleslaw was very sweet so one of us didn't get to eat. I do not recommend dining in at this restaurant. Maybe doing a To-Go order would be better but I am not taking my chances at this restaurant anymore. I'm surprised at the 3 star average because I've been going here my entire life and I can't say I ever had a single issue. We are a local family so I can say this is our "fancy" option, being working class and all. We have had countless milestone birthdays, graduation meals, special occasions, post funeral meals, celebrating bonuses, cleansing pallettes after the holidays. And I can't say that my shrimp has ever been undercooked or that I ever got my order wrong nor that staff was ever rude or negligent. I've been alive for 30 years, I've lived in Albuquerque for most of that 30 years. I gotta tell you, if there's negative reviews about this place, it's probably the people making them that are to blame. I went for lunch yesterday and man, this place really feeds you. If I want to spend a little more and want something different than the usual red chile enchiladas or posole then this is the go to. Appetizers, dessert, lunch specials, they're all the bomb. 3 generations of my family have had nothing but positive experiences here. So if you like Red Lobster I always tell non locals and tourists "this is the 'good' one". I mean it's a corporate restaurant/franchise so it's the same menu as everywhere else. So reviews like this need to focus on the specific location rather than the brand. This location is NICE. I give it 5 stars across the board. The food is fresh. Well cooked. Staff is nice and well trained. The ambience and atmosphere are lovely unless you are some spoiled bourgeoise a hole. If ur working class like me, I recommend coming here for your celebrations and such. Definitely not the weekly haunt, because it's Red Lobster. It's not a 5 Michelin star restaurant but that's not the point. Its a good place to eat and this is one of those locations that make you love the Red Lobster brand. As for the brand I do have some criticisms like I think their rewards system is not only broken but half baked. I think they miss the mark on marketing to younger, more working class crowds which at this point make up the most of their revenue stream. But again, the individual franchise and location have no control over that, or things like prices and such. I do think the menu can use a little more diversity too, but I will say the RL brand has done a LOT better with conserving their "favorites" than places like Chili's and Applebee's.
