The food came out hot and fresh. The cod was a nice size and covered in a crunchy batter that stayed crispy all the way to the last bite. I especially liked that the cod was one giant piece rather than several small pieces. The crowd is largely made up of older customers, I'd say mostly 55+. The place isn't fancy, so you can come as casual as you want. The soda was flat but it is not a deal breaker, it happens Overall, it has a very homey, classic American feel, with friendly service and a proud, local-business atmosphere.

I ordered the WTF Burger, and he made sure to double-check how I wanted my burger cooked and what I wanted on the side. I really appreciated the attention to detail. The burger was pretty solid, and the fries on the side were crispy and delicious. Overall, it was a laid-back spot with good service, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and did not live up to what I had hoped for. The service was mediocre at best. Our waitress was not very attentive, and we constantly had to ask for things that should have been brought to our table without having to remind her. We asked for condiments, and she forgot. We asked for napkins, and she forgot those as well. The restaurant was not even that busy, so there really wasn't a good reason for us to feel overlooked. Oh she still thinks she deserved a big tip and charged it to our bill. After pur food was in correct 3 plates. When it comes to the food, it was just okay. Nothing about the experience really stood out or made me feel like this was a place worth the anticipation, especially for a birthday celebration. As a customer, I believe the overall experience should be about more than just serving food. It should be about making guests feel welcomed, valued, and taken care of, especially when they choose your restaurant for a special occasion. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had. I hope the owners take this review seriously and invest more time in training their staff to be attentive, proactive, and genuinely focused on customer service. A little more attention to detail and better hospitality could make a huge difference. It's disappointing when you look forward to trying a place for so long, only to leave feeling underwhelmed. I truly hope management takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve, because good food is important, but good service is what makes customers want to come back. Also they they said they do not do anything special for birthdays

Although people post pictures of the food-- the menu is constantly rotating and changing on a day-to-day basis and a seasonal basis so the food you see might not always be the same menu. I really like that because it makes it a consistent date spot because the food is constantly changing and it's a new experience every time.
