She said she needed to see if she had any beans...I'm at a coffee shop...in fact there are bags of beans on the shelves for sale. She said sorry we don't have any beans. I was a bit confused because it is a menu option and I'd never been told that before. We went back and forth a bit and I just decided to ask for an americano and call it a loss for getting a pour over. I bought two drinks and one bag of coffee (17.59?) which felt a touch high for in store and small town... total order was about $38, I hope there beans are good. Last thing the restroom was marked "we are out of toilet paper" hmm... The owners have done an excellent job, putting a lot of work into this little place in the middle of nowhere lol. They had beckoning indoor seating and outdoor seating. They also had a busy drive-through. I had a latte with praline syrup, and it was very good. I also tried their cinnamon sugar bagel, and it was good of course. It was just a made on a plain store-bought bagel so the only thing that would've been nicer is if it were a more bakery style bagel. They have lots of little knickknacks in their little store, and some of it is unique and not just overdone typical coffee shop store merchandise. For example, they have packets of flavored "tea to go" and I'm tempted to go back inside after I finish my bagel and get one to try at home. The two ladies that waited on me were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They welcomed me to sit on the back porch when I mentioned that I like to sit outside. They came outside and wiped off a little fire pit when they recognized that I sat by it. They brought me my coffee and my bagel as they got them ready. Their menu is huge (coffee, pastries, sandwiches, etc.) and they also often have fun seasonal or specialty drinks that I love to try. I recently had the cookie butter draft latte, which was absolutely delicious. I'd never had a draft latte, but I was so glad I gave it a try (shoutout to the employee who explained it to me too).
