I understand they are homemade, but they are literally the size of a packaged cookie for $1 each. Most people eat two or 3 cookies when they have the smaller ones, so as a "normal person" it was hard to spend $1 on a two or three bite cookie. Other than the size they were pretty good. I think they should do 3 for $2 IMO.

This was a delivery (six cookies bundle of my choice) and I ordered a specialty cookie...for free delivery purposes (it did not disappoint) as a 1st time customer. The delivery monitoring process shows everything. The cookies were delivered in a really nice box and the cookies were still warm, considering the distance. They were sooo sweet, moist and gooey that it was almost sinful...and I LOVED IT!!! They did not disappoint. I pulled up to the drive thru, checked in on Yelp, and had to do a double take when I saw that all the Shipley's signage had been replaced by "Shimmery Donut" signs. (If you aren't paying attention, you'll miss it as it looks almost identical to the original, stylistically speaking.) Was I tempted to immediately burn rubber and drive away? -- YES! But, I decided to give them the ol' college try AFTER discussing 2 major concerns with the girl working the drive thru window. Me: Ok, my eyes aren't deceiving me and this is no longer a Shipley's location, correct? She: Correct. We switched names about 6 months ago. Me: K! Me: But what about the product, has it been salvaged? She: Yes, it's the same. Me: ok, PERFECT! (Crisis averted!) But, the crisis was NOT averted at all! I ordered my donut-ty breakfast usual: One dozen original glazed donut holes and an ice water. (lol) Of the 12, I could only stomach two. How in the heck are the donuts not fresh, pillowy, and amazing at 7:27 in the morning? -- It's friggin' 7:27AM for Pete's sake!
