Not only is the food awesome but the staff is even better. From the cash register person to the cooks to the wait staff (who are the best I've seen in any restaurant) to the manager. They were all amazing. Never a wait for drinks, especially coffee, always checking at the right time but not too much, and so friendly it made me like I was in a movie out of the 50's. The food was unbelievable. I ordered a burger and fries and have celiac. When the manager notice, she said, "Hold on a minute. I have some gluten free bread in back. Let me toast you some". As much as I've eaten out, I've only seen a couple of places have any type of gluten specific foods. The burger was well done but juicy with unbelievable tasting ground beef, and my friend had a great meal as well. He had to try the chocolate gravy and even ate it on a Cheryl's omelet. He rarely eats sweets but if they had given him a quart of that he would have made sure to eat it. Of all the restaurants I've been in , I would highly recommend this one. If you're looking for a true, real small town cafe than this place is for you. Most of the staff was nice with a few exceptions that must not like eye contact. All and all the omelets that we had were done right and the coffee was very hot and real good too. I love breakfast and I really looked little individually owned local eateries. I visited Cheryl's diner with friends this morning. I had not been back to the diner in 4 years. I now live in FL . My Dad really enjoyed the food there. Today I had a wonderful omelet. Spinach and feta cheese. Crisp bacon and biscuit . The food is always hot and tasty. Our waitstaff refilled our cups and came by often to check on us. I missed the hometown feel at this little delightful diner. Happy to see they are still in business after the pandemic. read more

A local spot in Cabot across from the post office. Decided to check it out for breakfast since it's one of the few places in the area with the most reviews. Mom and pop/hole in the wall feel that serves huge southern portions. You get your money's worth, but it's nothing special or spectacular. Our waitress was nice and attentive and our food was decent. You can definitely tell this place has lots of regulars that come in by the way the staff talks to them. It was like everyone who came in to eat knew each other (except us of course). We got a lot of looks probably because it was obvious we aren't from here and we most likely stood out, so a bit uncomfortable for me. I don't think we'll come back because I don't like feeling uncomfortable or like I'm being watched, but it's a staple here in Cabot that you should at least check out once if you're new to the area. read more

I got the bologna sandwich which I was excited for. It has probably been 50 years since I had one. A bit disappointing since only the bologna was fried and the bread was just toast. We stopped in cabot on our way home to Searcy for breakfast and oh my goodness, good food and great service! I've never been to a restaurant where you felt like you were eating with friends and family. I have to say, as a pancake fanatic, Cheryl's pancakes are the best in Arkansas of all the ones I've eaten. I suspect there is some vanilla added to the batter? We have visited Cheryl's Diner twice and really enjoy the food here. We are always on the look out for down home breakfast joints and this place fits the bill. It is a small hole in the wall off the beaten path that is decorated with corky wall hangings and cute sayings. The staff is friendly and quick even when they are slammed.
