Me - the Rebel Chef - of course needed to taste-test this new found, exotic, out-of-state and 'midwest' bag of bean grinds.. and I found the coffee ultimately very delicious and succulent. Brewing filtered water, to a very hot degree and then pouring the water over 'Westrock Coffee Co.' grounds brought out very, very delightful nutty, caramel-hued brew with almondy, grassy, banana-ish notes of coffee beans.. The next morning I asked around, and found out that the Westrock brand was a local one, familiar to many in North Little Rock! Some shops and grocers actually sold the brand from their shelves and I ended up buying some of it, to take home - and it was even better upon brewing it in my own kitchen.. Westrock Coffee Co. makes very tasteful, thinly-ground and very potent coffee grounds, that I highly recommend to folks; if you are tired of the same old mundane Dunkin' Donuts, gas station brew or otherwise. Not only do they serve several of their unique blends, they also have information that coffee lovers and experts would love to see. This is not just a coffee shop tho, it's also the Roastery and where they make the amazingly delicious coffees. Service was friendly and we saw the CEO on sight caring for the building. The coffees are DELICIOUS and beyond anything you'll find at a local coffee shop. If you're in the area, it's well worth your time to stop and visit.
