Made a rookie mistake and forgot to take a picture but got an awesome Philly Steak sandwich with fries. Sandwich had cheese and mushrooms and everything tasted great! Did try getting a chicken parm sandwich at first but they had an oven issue and couldnt make it. Also drinks were bottled only. Would definetly go back to try other things! read more

It is four star good, not five star good Family run deli with good sandwiches, great home made chips, and Fair baked goods,in a nice facility with nice staff. But the Sammie's are just good. They serve boars head meats, which are good, except if your going to serve an Italian sub in NY, you really should be serving better than BH Genoa, which really is at best Fair. The food here is always great! I have never had a bad sandwich however their service is not the best sometimes. I hate to not rate them higher because of that but I have not had good service on multiple occasions and therefore I have to give 3 stars. The elderly woman taking my order on more than one occasion has snapped at me multiple times just while I was browsing the menu before I ordered. Besides her, the other ladies there have been very lovely and welcoming. The food is ALWAYS fantastic just not the best service at times. read more

Never ever have I had a bad ANYTHING from here ... my favorite is the "cheese curd burger" which has a huge patty, cheddar cheese, fried cheese curds onion straws and bbq sauce. So so yummy! In fact, when I call to order I have to tell them what's on the burger since it's been gone for so long and was a special ... but man I love it! My daughter LOVES their Buffalo chicken sandwich and my son loves their Turkey sandwiches (all with boars head meats, so yummy!) their homemade chips are to die for as well, awesome salads which are ENORMOUS in size, and their desserts are perfect! My husband and I were ready to grill while visiting his dad in Kirkville, only to learn that all 3 (3!?) of his propane tanks were empty. With blood sugar running low and tempers running high, we abandoned our plans and sought food elsewhere. We ended up a Demario's, where options were varied, staff were kind, and the dining room was nearly empty. We worked out our propane frustrations on a perfect Philly cheesesteak with peppers and onions and a mammoth meatball sub. We decided to check this place out based on the amazing reviews and we weren't disappointed. I had the grilled chicken salad which was quite large and delicious. My husband's chicken cheese steak was a generous portion, and "freaking awesome." House made chips were yummy, too! My daughter had a grilled cheese and fries and ate it all! One of the great places for lunch in Chittenango. My favorite pick is the Chicken Salad Sandwich because although it is subtle it is a one of a kind freshly made chicken salad, but I have had every thing on the menu and I have not been disappointed a single time. So happy that Chittenango has a honest to goodness deli. Everything is fresh & delicious. Their sandwiches are very generous. Soups are hot & delicious. They prepare all their baked goods in house. Tonight, one selection was a frosted brownie with peanut butter cups. They also have half moon cookies to die for. Bring your appetite, you won't be disappointed. Can eat in or take out. For eat in, the wait is minimal. The dining area is cozy with TV & local memorabilia. Went there today for dinner to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. If I could give the DeMario family 10 stars I would. Writing this is making me hungry. read more

I have ordered lunch from here multiple times as I work right around the corner. With that being said, I always call in to order so I can just run in and pick it up. Almost every time I call which is probably around 8 times now (except for once), they pick up and say "can you please hold" and just literally set the phone down and don't mute it or anything. I was sitting there for over 10 minutes one time just listening to them chatting away with customers. It is really frustrating. I feel they are always understaffed. The customer service is always friendly and great but they are really low staffed. The food however is pretty good. I tend to get a wrap or sandwich whenever I order and it is always good. They often forget certain things that I request to leave out though (like tomato or mayo or placing something on the side). I really like how they make homemade potato chips and serve them with all sandwiches! I do feel the menu is a tad overpriced as well. Over all I will come back because the food is good but expect a wait! read more

The prices are very reasonable considering how big the sandwiches are and that they use Boar's Head meat, homemade bread, homemade desserts, soups and salads. Doesn't get much better than that.
