Made a rookie mistake and forgot to take a picture but got an awesome Philly Steak sandwich with fries. Sandwich had cheese and mushrooms and everything tasted great! It is four star good, not five star good Family run deli with good sandwiches, great home made chips, and Fair baked goods,in a nice facility with nice staff. But the Sammie's are just good. They serve boars head meats, which are good, except if your going to serve an Italian sub in NY, you really should be serving better than BH Genoa, which really is at best Fair. The food here is always great! I have never had a bad sandwich however their service is not the best sometimes. I hate to not rate them higher because of that but I have not had good service on multiple occasions and therefore I have to give 3 stars. The elderly woman taking my order on more than one occasion has snapped at me multiple times just while I was browsing the menu before I ordered. Never ever have I had a bad ANYTHING from here ... my favorite is the "cheese curd burger" which has a huge patty, cheddar cheese, fried cheese curds onion straws and bbq sauce. So so yummy! In fact, when I call to order I have to tell them what's on the burger since it's been gone for so long and was a special ... but man I love it! Great food, great portions at a great price! I called DeMarios around 4:15 pm on a Friday night for pick up. I ordered 2 Seafood platters with mac & cheese and a quarter pounder with fries well done. Our order was ready in 20 minutes was completely cooked and hot! The hamburger was cooked perfectly to order and the fries were crispy with lots of flavor! In the seafood platter, the were 8 fried shrimp, 6 scallops, a large piece of fried haddock, an ample amount of fried clams, a great cole slaw with a dressing that was not over powered with pepper and a great mac & cheese. Also include was a nice starter sauce, a slice of lemon and cocktail sauce. The seafood platter is 18.99 and very worth the price! My family loves getting food from DeMario's on fridays and can't wait to explore more of their menu! Highly recommen DeMario's! read more

We ended up a Demario's, where options were varied, staff were kind, and the dining room was nearly empty. We worked out our propane frustrations on a perfect Philly cheesesteak with peppers and onions and a mammoth meatball sub. My husband's chicken cheese steak was a generous portion, and "freaking awesome." House made chips were yummy, too! My daughter had a grilled cheese and fries and ate it all! One of the great places for lunch in Chittenango. My favorite pick is the Chicken Salad Sandwich because although it is subtle it is a one of a kind freshly made chicken salad, but I have had every thing on the menu and I have not been disappointed a single time. So happy that Chittenango has a honest to goodness deli. Everything is fresh & delicious. Their sandwiches are very generous. Soups are hot & delicious. They prepare all their baked goods in house. Tonight, one selection was a frosted brownie with peanut butter cups. They also have half moon cookies to die for. Bring your appetite, you won't be disappointed. Can eat in or take out. For eat in, the wait is minimal. The dining area is cozy with TV & local memorabilia. Went there today for dinner to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. I have ordered lunch from here multiple times as I work right around the corner. With that being said, I always call in to order so I can just run in and pick it up. Almost every time I call which is probably around 8 times now (except for once), they pick up and say "can you please hold" and just literally set the phone down and don't mute it or anything. I was sitting there for over 10 minutes one time just listening to them chatting away with customers. It is really frustrating. I feel they are always understaffed. The customer service is always friendly and great but they are really low staffed. The food however is pretty good. I tend to get a wrap or sandwich whenever I order and it is always good. They often forget certain things that I request to leave out though (like tomato or mayo or placing something on the side). I really like how they make homemade potato chips and serve them with all sandwiches! I do feel the menu is a tad overpriced as well. Over all I will come back because the food is good but expect a wait! read more
