The ratios were perfect. All the ingredients worked in harmony and no one item took over. The cheese was melty, the egg was fluffy, and the bacon was crispy. Absolutely delicious! When I received my to-go order, I got a plain bagel with butter, a plain bagel with chili oil cream cheese on it, AND a side of chili oil cream cheese lol. Even though my order was not necessarily correct, I was not too upset because of the quality service that I received while in the shop. It's simply part of the decor. We purchased some bagels from the previous day, some breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The coffee was bold, rich and fresh. The bagels delicious, all of the sandwich parts cooked to perfection. There's a friendly, warm vibe inside that extends from the staff and is entrenched in the food and coffee. Just a fantastic place for bagels and, I have to admit, NY bagels are next level. If you're in Syracuse, I highly recommend you make sure you make Water Street Bagel one of your stops.

The line to order moved quickly, employees were friendly, and our food was made relatively quickly, and we enjoyed our food - my only complaint was my bagel was a bit too toasted and crispy for my liking, but that's all preference and there was nothing wrong with the sandwich itself.
