    Thomas C.

Salt City Bread founder Greg Reynolds had a background in culinary arts, which deeply influenced his approach to baking. His passion for bread making led him to start experimenting with recipes and techniques. Initially, the bakery operated with a focus on crafting high-quality, artisanal bread using traditional methods. Wife and I are very rarely in the Manlius area, but we were recently and thought we'd stop for a lunch and some breads. My wife was really looking forward to getting a muffaletta, but that was unavailable due to the recent listeria outbreak, so she ordered the turkey sandwich while I went with pastrami. We also ordered a rosemary focaccia and 2 butter rolls to take home. Our sandwiches were made quickly, and they were fine. There was nothing wrong with them, but they also didn't blow us away either. Very simple sandwiches, didn't have a ton of toppings on them, and honestly, with the amount of grocery stores/delis in the area that now carry Boar's Head, that's simply not a selling point for us anymore. We felt they were pretty expensive, but at the same time, they were piled high with meat and did feed us for 2 meals. We had the rosemary focaccia with some spaghetti and meatballs the next day and used the butter rolls for some chicken sandwiches the day after and we enjoyed both. Overall, the offerings we had were fine, but we didn't feel anything was good enough to need to return. Perhaps if we lived closer where there weren't as many bakeries, but there are many other options in the CNY area.

I've gone in and asked politely and have let them know that the receipt dispenser is empty. I've tried to be nice, but now I'm beyond annoyed. I was assured that they fill the receipt paper all the time - this is what I'm told - but it can't be true, or else it would happen intermittently. This is the last time I'm going into this location... I like it because the location is convenient and they have 93 octane gas, which many places don't. But because there is literally never, ever any receipt paper, or else the dispenser is clogged, I'll get my gas someplace else.

I grabbed two Nutrageous bars (which is made by Hershey) and when he rang me up, they came up full price $6.24. I mentioned one of them should have been a dollar. He snatched them away from me saying, "Jesus Christ, where is the sign?!". I walked over and showed him. He proceeds to tell me it's for the Hershey bars not Reese's, that Reese's is made by Mars. Um, no they aren't! Seems Ken needs to be educated on candy bar brands and stop over charging customers. Anywho, I felt very uneasy and didn't want to go back at him, so I gave him a $5 bill and two singles. He gave me my change and as I'm walking out the door, he starts banging on the glass accusing me of only giving him $2. Won't be back here, which is sad because I was so excited to find a 7-11 locally. Hey Ken, why are you so angry?

I go so that I can get a Agave Green iced tea as I have got away from coffee. I have the about to be $12 a month sip club subscription that I got when I was drinking coffee and I really enjoy it. Just walk in punch in you code and get you drink. It is well worth it if you go more than 4 times a month. Also you can use it multiple times a day. I think every two hours. Anyway back to this Panera. I frequent this location as I get gas close by and it is convenient for me. The service is fast when ever I decide to order food. The food has always been good but can be inconsistent. I like the chipotle, chicken, egg and avocado on ciabatta. I have got it here a few times. The last time I got it it was perfect. This time it was a bit of a mess but still tasted great it was just not well constructed. I have also had lunch here a few times and again service was fast and the food was good. Just what you except from Panera. Ambiance is fine nothing special. There are other Paneras I like better on that front. My biggest issue with this location is that it's a little messy at times

I've eaten here several times with a friend who uses a wheelchair. Annette, who works behind the counter, is one of the nicest and most accommodating servers I've ever met. Thanks Annette, you're the best!

Food-It didn't taste authentic…read more Service was nice Ambiance was ok The only issue I had was that where I was sitting o was able to watch the cook prepare the food.Whole the cook was waiting for the next order,The cook had on gloves and she put them in a bucket of water to grab a rag to wipe down the counter. When my order was ready to be told to the cook ,The cook then use the same gloves to grab parts of my meal out the freezer to throw on grill and that's when I called my server to tell them to tell the cook I seen what she did with the gloves and I need her to change them. She instantly changed them but she already touched my food.So from there I didn't feel comfortable to eat from the restaurant. I still paid for my food and I still tipped the waiter because it wasn't her fault. I'm very disappointed that I saw what the cook did.Hopefully that cook could learn proper cooking etiquette. I wouldn't revisit!

We tried The All Night Egg Plant a week or so ago & had a lovely time. The spot is a little hard to find depending on which direction you're coming into the plaza from. They're tucked away a little towards the back of the plaza but once you see it- you can't miss it. The staff were really nice & we were able to get seated quickly. They had a variety of tables & a counter space. We've sat in both areas & had good service both times. I really liked the omelette I had the first time we went but I really loved the last plate that we got which was a fantastic mix of everything you could think of to eat for breakfast. I'm looking forward to our next visit because I'd like to try something on the sweeter side.
