The dryers weren't great from my experience and why the 4 stars. I picked a 5 load machine over the 3 load because it was only .75c more. I put it on the high heat and let it dry for the I think 30 min it was. But the towels weren't dry. I had to load them up damn to take him and dry again. I didn't have time to run it again and also didn't want to pay another $3. They had lots of people working, folding, keeping things organized and clean which I liked.

My comforter was 90" x 92" when I dropped it off, and now it measures 77" x 81" which no longer covers my queen sized bed. The new duvet cover I purchased to protect my freshly cleaned item no longer fits, obviously. No one bothered to notify me. I'm not sure how they thought I wouldn't notice? I called the store when I discovered the damage. They said my comforter was cleaned at a different location and that someone from that facility would contact me. No one has called back and it's been over 2 weeks. I waited patiently over the holidays. This is absurd. I lost a $620 wool comforter, the $61 Tide cleaning fee, and the duvet cover I can no longer return. I'm not even sure what to do at this point. What an awful and unprofessional business. I need to give this social media attention and file with small claims court. Photos show the mass of excess fabric of the inner lining, which was originally taut, new staining all along the edges from improper cleaning, and newly uneven and misshapen border.

It is a bit expensive to do leather jacket cleaning, but for the experience and process, I would say it was totally worth it. They texted me to let me know when they would arrive to pick up and to drop off. They gave me a clear time approximation and even beat it (they estimated 6-8 weeks but I believe it only took about 2-3?). My jackets came back wrapped really nicely, and the delivery driver took proper care to deliver at my door. In fact, I wasn't home and she asked how I would like my jackets to be dropped off. The thoughtfulness and consideration Ian's provides can't be beat. I also appreciate that they have an app so you can easily plan your pick-ups and drop-offs. If I have any articles of clothing that will need dry cleaning in the future, Ian's will be top of mind.

I occasionally travel for work and used Alex Cleaners on several occasions over the last few years as my local neighborhood shop to get a quick service before meeting with Clients. Normally no issues... but... Last month I was preparing for both an interview and a wedding. I dropped off a suit and shirt for cleaning like usual. I was given a ticket slip and told to come back in a few days. When I came back, the employee couldn't find my suit or their copy of the claim ticket. I assumed maybe just a clerical error and spent 30 minutes with the employee going through the racks to see if it had been misplaced. Nothing. I gave them my information and was told the owner would call me back and I hoped they'd have an update. Meanwhile I'm going home trying to figure out backup plans if I don't get my suit in time. This is where it gets crazy. The owner calls me within the hour and tells me someone came in several days earlier without the ticket receipt. The person claimed to be me and Alex Cleaners gave them my suit when they paid in cash. I was confused. Why would they give my suit to someone without the claim ticket? They had my contact information on the business copy of the ticket, so why wouldn't they try calling my phone number or email to verify my identity? But they didn't. Any time I tried to ask a question, the owner cut me off and talked over me. I got more confused because rather than admitting making a mistake as a business, the owner THREATENED me by claiming I was trying to scam them and that he was going to call the police on me! At this point I ended the conversation terrified this guy was going to have police or attorneys coming after me for their mistake. I filed my own police report, but I'm not planning on taking this to court. The suit was nice but not worth legal drama. The most I can do is warn others not to use Alex Cleaners. I don't know what their situation is... if they messed up and were lying to cover themselves when they realized they lost my clothes? That or their employees are sharing customer info to commit fraud and steal suits because they don't have security systems or processes to protect customer belongings. Either way, save yourself the drama and get your stuff cleaned somewhere else. TL;DR Alex Cleaners gave my suit to a stranger then threatened me.
