Title: **Avoid Deluxe at All Costs!** Buying car is stressful as it is, but if you wanna waste ur time and have your intelligence assaulted numerous times and wanna feel like you can't do simple math, sales man named Tim Mickens is a real experience. They demanded a ridiculous down payment of over $10,000, completely disregarding our credit situation. This, despite their blatant lies about "everyone approved" in their misleading ads. Their advertising is a joke. They promised discounts as prices dropped, but when we showed up, the prices were exactly the same. Pure bait and switch tactics! Showed up for an AMG Mercedes, and they tried to sell us a C300 with 85k miles. The customer service was atrocious. We were treated with utter contempt, as if we were idiots. Their staff is rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. The "finance manager" agreed to a selling price of the car we wanted, then told us we had to pay in cash. Then, he agreed with me that they make more money if customers do financing there!!! So I asked how that makes sense, and he was speechless. Met with Shane Henderson and Michael Lao on a Genesis. I FOUND OBD CODE B2474 FOR A STEERING COLUMN MODULE FAULT (see pics). ENSURE YOU SCAN THE OBD on these vehicles before buying them, as they may not be fully repaired when Deluxe offers them for sale. Asked Shane and Michael to have the car diagnosed at the local Genesis dealer and they AGREED (see attached E-mail). While the vehicle was supposedly in dealer service, per Shane, they mysteriously "took a deposit from an out of state customer" to avoid selling it to me (see attached E-mail). The vehicle was still on the website several days later, until I advised the owner (Danny Sanchez) of the consumer affairs violations per N.J. Admin Code 13:45A and the NJ Consumer Fraud Act 58:1. TO BOOT, vehicle also 1013 MORE miles than it was advertised with. They never advised me. Scammy. Sanchez immediately became frustrated and advised me to "ask Trump" (I don't even know what he's talking about) and stated the salesman needed "to take a shower" after I looked at the vehicle. SOLD A BRANDED TITLE. I came in to see a specific car and was led to a similar car but it had a branded title, which wasn't told to me until we the signed the paper works. the way it was brought up to me was "the car had a minor issue and the dealership had it taken care of and It drove for years and the problem haven't came back up. It was an older lady and you know how they are. they didn't want to continue to drive the car so the dealership bought back the car" they never told me it was a branded title so when I go to sell it, ill get Pennies. my car is a hybrid and it came with a broken charger. after I asked them to replace it, I couldn't get an answer from anyone for months. I came in 4 times to speak to some one about it and after months of going back and forth with them they finally gave it to me. 2 months after I had the car I needed to replace brakes and tires. Stay away from this place, they crooks and do shady practices. It's not worth to even looking at them. I was flying from LA to buy the car from deluxe auto sales. We confirmed the final price over the phone, but when i arrived, they said that price will be $5,000 higher because they added lojack, protective film and something else (over the phone they promised that there will be no extra fees). When the car was delivered to LA, I was waiting to receive the plates and registration from them. I called more than 20 times in 2 months, left 20 messages, same amount of emails. Every time the receptionist to connect me with someone, but she was always telling me that everyone is busy or not in the office. So i found a blue bmw x6 on cargurus and reached out to them, i was trading my 2021 bmw m4 towards the x6! When they called me they told me someone put $1,000 deposit down on the truck and that they had another person interested flying out to see it also. Then they told me since i am trading a car i am first priority! Ok so we went back and forth on the #'s and they were trying to add in "$995 reconditioning fee" (on a 2021 bmw which takes a simple detail $200 tops to clean) then they had additional fees like "perma plate" for $995" "Gap at $1,295" "Documentation fees at $750" So i called them out for all the hidden fees and they took off a couple things but left the documentation and perma plate fees! Then I noticed the crazy monthly payments where i would have been paying $88k for a $66k truck!!! I called them out on that also .. then they disappeared! No response for over 24hrs .. i email them to ask whats going on and they reply it sold!!! Luckily i buy new cars all the time and i know how things work and seen through their scams! They even tried to give me less than what they told me for my trade! Too many red flags i would never buy a car from them! Make sure you do your home work! I got a quote to purchase a BMW. This dealer tries to add on some ridiculous, extra fees'. Such as a recondition fee $995. Perma plate fee of $995. Doc fee $598. DMV fee $250. This is on top of the profit their already making by selling the car. I see why they already have a lot of negative reviews and now I can see exactly why! I've heard of some dealers that charge a dealer fee of $500-$800 and DMV fee's for plates and title work of $250 but not all these extra nonsense! read more

Initially I gave this dealer 5 stars. Then the sketchiness happened so I've changed my review. Well I came in to look at a BMW I saw online. The car was beautiful. This BMW and price just seemed too good to be true. At the time it seemed like I had made a great purchase, but fast forward 3 months and apparently it was not.The car drove well initially. Two days after purchase, the check engine light came on, and the car started sputtering and backfiring. Turns out, it needed a new coil pack which, to the dealers credit, they fixed free of charge. Fast forward 3 months, the car started smoking when I started it up. I took it into the BMW, and the timing chain needed to be replaced along with several other engine components. Even though I asked Deluxe about an engine and transmission warranty at the time of purchase, they didn't have one to sell but they had seemingly every other warranty you could possibly buy. They have proven to be worthless at this point and they will not allow me to cancel them. I can't use the key warranty that was 'given to me' for $995 because they only gave me one key.Thankfully, I purchased an extended warranty thru a third party and they covered the timing chain. I'm still out of pocket for the cost of some of the other engine repairs to the tune of about $2500. I shouldn't have purchased this car. Salesperson Charles was "nice" but after calling in and stopping by to ask questions about the car and warranties, he became somewhat dismissive and didn't follow up like he said he would. I feel somewhat taken because Charles was so nice when I purchased the car. If you plan on buying from here, they have a nice selection. Purchased a 2023 Nissan Altima SR VC-Turbo from Matthew. Car runs great after we had to spend $4,000 in repairs out of pocket due to a bent tie rod and left control arm. This came from an accident from the previous New York owner. Clearly they didn't do a 125 point inspection like Matthew said they did previous to selling the vehicle, or they knowingly sold the vehicle with issues. Which one is it? We may never know. We reached out to Matthew and Deluxe multiple times but we received no consolation on their end. Nissan had to replace the entire power steering rack and left control arms. Nothing about "Deluxe" Auto Sales is deluxe. They'll show you clean CarFAX reports but the accidents are unreported and they'll end up costing you thousands. But don't worry, Matthew and his bosses will be smiling after they sell you a broken car. They still have not reached out to make this right. I came in with my mechanic and he even spotted issues which were not disclosed on both cars I chose. Stick to an authorized dealer that has certified used cars. They buy all their cars from dead beat auctions for bottom dollar. Cars with no real service records and even if they do have records who knows if they are legitimate since they aren't records from an authorized dealer. STAY AWAY!!! I was looking for a convertible MB or Audi, and there are not a lot of convertibles available in the tri-state area. I was looking for two specific models, with specific options. Additionally, since I already own two vehicles, my credit situation was on the margins. I saw a C43 convertible in stock at Deluxe and put in a online request, as well as a credit app for the vehicle. I first, they were very responsive, then radio silence. They also never ran the credit app I provided but I moved on figuring the car was sold, as was many of the convertibles in my price range, with my must have options. Then on a Thursday afternoon, I received a call from a "Tommy" at Deluxe about the car. He said it was still available, I again explained the credit situation and he told me would call me back. He called back and they said can "make it happen". I then drove from Long Island, in the rain on a Saturday to NJ to see the car. The cars look pretty afar, but are far from pretty. Lots of nicks, and dents, and they are packed in a warehouse. Long story short, they run my credit, come back and tells me the bank wants me to trade in a car. EXACTLY the OPPOSITE of what I wanted to do and what I told them about before driving 2 hours to the dealer. Of course, just a pathetic sorry and nothing else! A waste of my time and energy, absolute unprofessional and a complete clown show! But guess what, God must have been on my side because turns out the car was a lemon repurchased by MB AND it was in not one BUT TWO MAJOR accidents with frame damage and a branded title.
