DO NOT COME HERE especially if you're a SERIOUS BUYER with CASH…read more Service was the WORST I've ever experienced with a dealership. I read the terrible reviews around them gouging you with their finance fees prior to calling which I didn't take too seriously as I was paying cash. I call them a week ago to see a vehicle virtually, as I'm out of state. They ask how I'm paying and I tell them cash. They tell me they'll have someone call me that day. No call.. A couple days go by and I get an automated message around "earning" my business. I reply saying they could show me the vehicle..... they call me and tell me they'll have someone call me that day. no call... Days go by and I call to try one last time. I speak with the manager who assured me I'd be reached out to that day. No call... I call them one last time and they can finally "squeeze me in" to see the car, stating nobody had bought it yet. They finally show me the vehicle, and I tell them I'd like to purchase and put a deposit down. They AGAIN ask how I'm paying and I say cash. They tell me I'll get a call back shortly to solidify the sale. Hours go by and I get a message saying they sold the vehicle... This entire experience was outrageous. I speculate some of the other reviews I read are true, and this dealership capitalizes on fee gouging those who finance.

I lease a vehicle from this dealership less than three weeks ago and when an issue with the…read moreelectronic components in the vehicle started to occur several days into a road trip, I called the dealer as soon as I get back in town and attempted to make an appointment. When I went down to the dealership, I spoke with the sales manager who directed me to a woman who took an appointment for me and never once mentioned to me that if I brought my lease vehicle into them, I was going to have to pay an excess of $200 for an issue with the vehicle that was leased from the dealership Originally, when I called the dealership, I spent 20 minutes being bounced around from person to person put on hold four times and a woman that I'm not even sure if she knew her name but told me she would get me in touch with someone that could assist me with a problem. Is it astounding how you have to jump to hoops with this dealership who claims that the new ownership wants it to be a better place for people to take their car. I guess the BS that new ownership is gonna bring better results is just that BS it's an hour and a half and I've never received a call back from Tim. Whoever he is the manager or whatever or anyone else in Chrysler. I guess I'm gonna have to go down there and raise hell. Well to update this review, I have to say the new ownership has responded in a favorable way when I arrived at the showroom. Tim explained that there would be a $225.00 fee for no warranty vehicles but not to "new" leases like mine and he assured me that he wanted my issues to be corrected. Sometimes there are hiccups with new vehicles. I'll have to reserve my full evaluation until I see how things go tomorrow. Today when I arrived at the dealership, everything went relatively smooth. Any issues that I pointed out were common changes that were made to the electronic system in this year's model vehicle. Now I have a new problem that I I was drying my dodge 1500 truck down and I noticed that in the front of the bumper guard it appears that the paint is having clearcoat issues that are looking like cracking or failures in the paint. I'll have to respond back to the dealership and show it to the dealership manager and get his reaction to the issue because it certainly isn't my issue.

I'm genuinely not sure how this dealership has five-star reviews. I waited nearly three weeks just…read moreto receive a call back with pricing. The first time I inquired, I never heard back. The second time, I went in person and was told I would receive a call first thing the next morning--yet I didn't hear back until the following day. When I finally did receive pricing, the number was completely unreasonable--roughly the same price as my current luxury vehicle and about $20,000 more than the vehicle I originally inquired about. The entire process was unnecessarily difficult and unprofessional. I will be taking my business to another Jeep dealership.

I purchased my car from Hackensack Toyota a little under five years ago after doing extensive price…read moreshopping, and they gave me the best deal by far. The buying process was straightforward, low-pressure, and very easy from start to finish. Since then, I've continued to bring my car here for service--even though it isn't the closest Toyota dealer to me--and I've been consistently happy with every visit. Now that the car is a bit older and requires paid maintenance, I've had various services done here and have even purchased my tires through them. Every service has been handled professionally, honestly, and at very reasonable prices. What really stands out is their fairness and transparency. I've always felt treated honestly, never upsold, and confident that the work being done was necessary and done right. Because of that, I wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else for service. If I were to buy another car, I would absolutely buy it from Hackensack Toyota again. Very happy with this dealership and highly recommend them.
