Wouldn't trust this spot, most of the cars look nice but the inside hence the engine/machine are a complete waste. Picked up a 2011 RAM Pickup 1500 ST, only to drive it half a block and the "check engine" instantly turned on. They most likely used a code scanner eraser. On top of that, they recommend their own mechanic only for the mechanic to disassemble the car and overcharge. THEY SOLD ME A LEMON CAR! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Updating my review down from 5 to 3 stars. (1) We realized after the fact that we were being suckered into purchasing a used car warranty that is a really bad deal. We fortunately declined but still, it's one of those point-of-sale tricks that almost got us. Not saying used car warranties are a scam in the full sense of the word, but I couldn't work out any situation in which the math made sense. If it were my dealership, I wouldn't be selling those. (2) There were a few loose ends after the transaction that they were slow and unresponsive about handling. The first was getting our registration handled. While the timeline is not in their hands, they kept saying they'd let us know and we never heard a peep; we always had to call. The second was getting the second key mailed to us. Not sure in the first place why they couldn't give this to us right away, but regardless, it's now 2 months after car purchase and we still don't have the second key. We called for a 3rd time and because our salesperson wasn't in the office they couldn't resolve it and asked me to call back tomorrow. read more

I called this dealership to request the condition of a Jeep they had for sale there and I could not get any confirmation on the condition of the vehicle other then the salesmen saying the car was in good condition and only needed new tires and brake pads. I told the salesmen that I would be sending my mechanic out there for a pre-purchase inspection and he would be doing the test drive, the mechanic also called them to make an appointment for the test drive and inspection. When the mechanic got there they would not put dealer plates on the car nor let him test drive the vehicle (I guess they don't like it when mechanics actually show up to check over their cars. I called back to see if they would bring out the plates and the keys so he could test drive it and they told me not to waste "THEIR" time and wait for the mechanic to finish taking the pictures and doing the external inspection. I told them that by not sending the plates and keys out there now they were wasting my and my mechanics times he went on to swear at me and say F'you I'm not selling you S**T and hangs up on me. It was the infamous Robert that is mentioned in a few other 1star reviews. The mechanic sent me as much of a report as he could without being able to even start the vehicle (pictures from every angle) and the frame and entire drivetrain was almost rusted through, had rot on the floor boards and the battery was corroded so badly he couldn't test the charge. At least the salesmen was honest about one thing the Jeep did need new tires and brakes too. These people are far from polite or professional and I would advice you not waste your time and effort with this dealership. read more

I will try to get this review simple and straightforward. I hate to write reviews, I'm a very busy person. I was shopping for a Range Rover to buy. On March 20th, 2019, I stumbled on a Range Rover listings on the Facebook marketplace. I contacted few dealers but this guy named Robert from Route46Auto responded faster with his cell phone number. I called him the following day, March, 21st, 2019. He was a very fast talker, he called pretty every second, he texted, he responded to inquiries faster than normal, I was very impressed. After two days of contemplating of buying the car because I live out of state, i decided to go for it. Also, I had in mind to buy a Mercedes Benz to gift my husband but I wanted to conclude the Range Rover deal first before that. Robert, truly sound very convincing, trust me! To make the story short, I paid for the Range Rover (cash) and to be on a safe side, I bought an extra 6 months warranty through a company he recommended. I wired the money from my bank to the account details he provided and sent him a screenshot of the wire transfer. Immediately, this guy changed his personality. Honestly, I was shocked! He wasn't picking my calls anymore. Okay, confirm you've received the money transfer from my bank, he wasn't confirming that either. My calls number was forwarded to an unattended mailbox. I got my husband involved and called through his number, guess what? he picked. After two to three days, Rob confirmed they received the money (of course, I know you received the money even before the 24 hours). Fast forward... I got a toll truck that shipped the car to me. Okay, where is the title or 30 days temp tag? Rob said he will FedEx them overnight because is not safe to give the driver all that information. Okay, great! After two days, we called, Rob claimed I opted out on the temporary tag. Really? I opted out on a temp tag but I paid for an extra 6 months warranty? unbelievable! Remember, he only picks my calls if I call through an unknown number. Really, the moment you received the wire transfer I have to call you on a random number before you pick my calls? Sorry dear, I don't have time for that. Fast forward...My husband got him on the phone on April 3rd, the biggest shock was, he told my husband the Range Rover has an existing lean/loan thus the bank can't issue the title. This was never disclosed to me initially. Okay, Robert, what is the way forward? He doesn't pick our calls anymore. The office personnel claims he's either out of the office, busy with another customer or he will call back which he never does. As of the time of this review (4/9/2019 1:30 pm), I do not have the title to the Range Rover, no updates, he doesn't even pick our calls. This is the same Rob that was a click to the phone before I wired the money. seriously, I don't have time to chase a grown man around for something I paid for. He knows how to make things right. If I go on Facebook live because of him or suspend my programs and book the next flight to NJ because of him, he will run out of business within a week. I HATE deceit! I will update this review and rating as soon as I hear from Robert or get my car title, key or any information from him. read more

If I can give them a dark cloud instead of one star I would. I bought a used car 5/2021 by July 2021 the engine was already shot. A week after purchasing the car it over heated. Ac and heat stopped working as well. I called and mentioned the overheating problem and they did absolutely nothing about it to help me. The said the man who sold me would contact me once her returned back from vacation. Never did. Took the car to get fixed and to my surprise deeper issues. The people at this dealer probably already knew and took me and my family for a fool. What an awful first used car buying experience! I found a 2010 Mercury Mountaineer that I really liked because I test drove a different one, and I thought it would be a good car to use as a full-time Uber driver. I found the car through Edmunds.com, and I was excited to see the car qualified for free perks, such as free one-year road side assistance, a thirty-day warranty and a $100 gas card. Perhaps I rushed the whole thing, but I thought this car was going to be the best I could find, so I put a $500 deposit down on the car so the next buyer would not purchase the car. The red flag I should have seen about this place was the nonrefundable five hundred dollar deposit. By law a car dealer should not be able to keep money from you if a sale was never made. Now I have to drive forty-five minutes to return there and negotiate to get my down payment back. The second red flag was the condition of the car. Before I finalized the purchase of the vehicle, I brought it to a local AAA recommended mechanic to look over the car. Before the car left the dealer's lot I noticed something wrong with the wheels. The CarFax report stated there was a side collision that had no effect on the structure of the body, and I found what it was. (I wish I could post pictures of the damage.) The previous owner must have driven the vehicle into a curb or the metal structures in a car wash because the hub caps were shredded and digging into the front and back driver side tires. What kind of mechanic (the dealer's mechanic) would put something in this condition out to show? The mechanic (of the AAA recommended mechanic) said he would not take the car for a test drive around his neighborhood because the wheels were in such a dangerous condition. He guaranteed this car was not fit to drive because the wheels "will fail." The car did pass criteria for inspection. After the whole ordeal I abandoned the car. Aside from poor quality of inventory the driver who accompanied me to the inspection called me 'honey' when he spoke about his Harley Davidsons (I was trying to make small talk). When the driver accompanying the car discovered the faulty wheels he just recommended (in his southern drawl) going to a junk yard and picking up new wheels. After this discovery he slouched during the whole inspection in the waiting room. What kind of service is this?!?! I now have to drive back to the dealer to get my down payment back. If not, I am going to report this business to the better business bureau or the State Commission. If they still refuse to cooperate I am going to bring this to small claims court. This place proves every stereotype about the used car dealership industry. I highly do NOT recommend this place for purchasing your car. read more

On Saturday, we visited this used car dealer and my son found a car that he loved. There were two, one an automatic and one a manual of the same car. He wasn't positive which one he wanted. The battery was dead on the manual, so he could not drive it that day. We placed a $500 deposit down, and were told that they'd allow him to take either one when we returned on Tuesday. My son had a change of heart about the series of BMW he loves, and so we went back on Monday, as they're closed on Sundays, and Robert was extremely kind and allowed us the get our deposit back. I have read some awful posts about this car company, and I'm telling you, I believe, based on my experiences with them, that those bad reviews are bs. You can't please all the people all the time, but I don't believe this car company is in the in the business of hurting people. They were way too kind to us, for me to believe that is true. So anyone looking for honest, hard working dealers, you can depend on them for it. read more

I recall he mocked the two male owners as we test drove. I bought a car last week from Rob, a cheap car he assured me would last. As it turns out the frame was completely rotted through and I can't find a place that will pass it for inspection. I have little money, and they totally took advantage of me. I asked if they even looked at them before they sold them to which he exclaimed "of course we do!" So they knowingly sold me a car that the Nissan dealership referred to as "unrepairable", "unfit to drive" and further more "has the potential to split in half at any moment". Additionally as I had informed rob I was driving this on a long way up north, the headlights didn't work, which I found out in the dark. These people are despicable, and probably laughing while reading this and will reply with some nonsense about how they strive to keep the customer happy. Additionally, they don't mention they Doc Fee which Rob said to me, as I have record of our deal we had made in addition to the phone call we just had where he hung up on me and blocked my number, rob claimed the doc fee went to the state, which is a lie, it's regulated by the state so dealerships don't over charge and naturally they charge the maximum, at $399 for their 5 person operation, which is in addition to the listed price. I asked rob several times "if I show up with $600 I can leave with this car correct?" "Yes he said" cost me $1000. DO NOT BUY A CAR FORM THESE PEOPLE!!! I bought A 2007 Mercury Mountaineer (57,979) for Route 46 Auto under the "assumption" (Thirty day warranty was advertised on the car) that the car had a thirty day warranty. Within the first three weeks of having the car the check engine light goes on and other problems. I contact Route 46 Auto to tell them about the problem and they state to me that the car is not under warranty. I need to purchase a warranty. I stated to him that the car came with a thirty day warranty as advertised. No, all we can do is send you to a mechanic, you have to pay. I inquired about the Used car Lemon Laws in New Jersey and the gentlemen on the phone named John said New Jersey has no Used Car Lemon Laws or that they did not apply to me. I state to John this in not correct (I had already researched the Used Car Lemon Laws (http://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/) he then told me he was not a lawyer and did not know all the laws but you just stated there were no Used Car Lemon Laws and you sell used cars for a living. I then got the, I am just a worker not the owner and I am not try to get you upset. I then hung the phone up and looked at the paper work I had signed and what did a find a "Waiver of New Jersey Used Motor Vehicle Limited Warranty" waving my rights to enact the New Jersey Used Car Lemon Law. They never explained that to me just had me sign it (my bad). Check and have these people explain everything to you. I called John back and told him about the Waiver and if there are no Lemons laws in New Jersey why did he have me sign this document? John first said, this did not apply to you; New Jersey has no Used Car Lemon Laws. He told me this several times (lies). Then he asked did I negotiate the price of the car (this falls under the Used Car Lemon Law Waiver). I then pressed him about this saying, "the reason you made me sign this was to get me to waive my Lemon Law rights". John's answer "if that is what you wanted me to say". This has to be the worst car dealership that I have ever experienced in my life, & that includes other states across the U.S. not just in New Jersey. They sell LEMONS...they sell cars that need major work & repair. They pretend that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle but DO NOT believe them, please get a mechanic to look thoroughly at the engine. I have been charged $2500 so far for engine work, and the repair costs are still piling up. Also, I requested to get a warranty because the sales persons informed me that a customer can get a warranty but only thru their dealership. I still have yet to see the warranty paperwork. I have had a difficult time in speaking to anyone at their Lodi location, they were always responsive when selling the car to me but now they are never available and never return calls. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and to Motor Vehicle Department as well. Anyone else that has had a similar experience I suggest you do the same.
