My fiancé purchased a vehicle which had a completely broken glove box which was not disclosed. Could have looked past this but he also paid for new plates and registration two months ago which to this day still aren't here. His temporary tags have already long expired. Initially, he still had contact with the dealer but after the first month he has been completed ghosted. Too bad zero star is not an option. Where do I start? We all know that used car dealers are deceiving crook filled businesses, but these guys take the lead. They charge for a pre-sale inspection and a bunch of other charges (like all dealers due). I have come to the conclusion that two things are possible, they charge for the "pre-sale" inspections and they are horrible at it, or they charge for said inspection and they don't perform any inspections at all. In my case they sold me a car with $1500 worth of damage (picture attached) and had nothing to say when I called them talk about it. SCAM, FRAUDULENT, CON ARTISTS... Through research, I have found out that they have done this to other customers. They don't return phone calls and never connect you with anyone. They have been audited and taken through multiple legal actions from many other prior customers, as well. I am also filing a complaint with The Better Business Bureau and NJ Division of Consumer Affairs to SHUT THEM DOWN. First off, I am not the type to complain or even type a review on a business. I understand the hardships of owning a business these days. However, this business needs to be reported and the public deserves to know about this dirty company. I purchased a Porsche Macan from them in December of 2022. Upon purchasing, I noticed my key fob and rear back window wasn't working. Paul, the manager, promised me the window would get fixed and he would get me a new key. I have emails and multiple texts stating such. For the first 6 months, I was polite, flexible, professional, and even sympathetic to the many excuses I kept receiving from Paul. However, at this point, I feel that my understanding and patience has been taken advantage of. Paul has been negligent in not even answering my calls or texts now. Even if I call the Autogallery number and request to speak to someone else, such as another manager or owner, the rude 'girl' on the phone tells me no one is available and she will leave a message for someone else to call me back, in which I never obviously get a call back. How many times can my message get lost and I don't ever receive a call back? All I expected was what was agreed upon at the time of my purchase. False advertising + Rude. I called in inquiring about purchasing a 2016 Ford Fusion that was advertised online for $11,895. I asked whether or not there are any 'dealership fees' or any other fees associated with purchasing the vehicle and the person on the phone responded 'we do not give numbers over the phone, come in person and we can talk about it'. I told him that I was 1 hour away from the dealership and would like to know if there would be any surprise fees before I go in and take a look at the car and he responded 'do not waste my time' and 'you seem more interested in commissions fees instead of the car'. After that I responded that I would like to just know about all fees associated before committing to a 1 hour drive without any knowledge of the price and he responded with 'people drive 4 hours to see the car'. This is completely unprofessional customer service and I would stay far away from this dealership. I was willing to purchase the vehicle outright for advertised price + tax + registration + small fees if necessary, however this experience left me with the impression that they do not respect customers whatsoever. I drove from MD to test drive and purchase a BMW 650i sports car. Upon arrival the salesmen kept offering reasons why I couldn't test drive the vehicle. Instead steering me to a sedan. At some point to get out of the test drive he even advised that I'd be required to put 50% down. Finally when I acquiesced and said I'd consider that, because I still wanted to try the car out- he then advised that the dealership would only allow one test drive. That I could not see any others if I chose that one. The whole exchange felt like that we're hiding something and steering me in the direction of a car that they were having trouble selling. I left, and purchased another BMW from Route 46 Motors across the street instead. This place is sketchy and has a lot of fees. read more

Believe the other reviews that you see of them being called scammers. Called them to ask for the OTD price and they told me "they cannot disclose this information over the phone" and to go in. That was the first red flag because now there's a big possibility that they're going to waste my time, and that's what they did. They added regular fees and what stood out was a $2,900 fee. When we asked about what the fee was for, the salesman said "it's just a fee"..... okay but for what? Does it include documentation fees, taxes, etc? Nope. None of that is included, it's a fee "JUST BECAUSE". So they not only rip you off, they can't even come up with a reason to. As if adding a $3k fee is just for fun. How ridiculous and shady do you have to be. A 23k car's otd price was $31k... Their excuse was "that's just the market".. the market has nothing to do with a $3k bs fee. You could've included the $3k into the cars online price and stop wasting peoples time. Other LEGITIMATE dealers have no problem going over the otd price and breakdown with you on the phone. You want people to come in so you can try to pressure them into paying a ridiculous price on a car and give into your shady fees. You can't even negotiate even $100 off the pointless fee, don't bother. The salesmen are incompetent and aren't even enjoyable to work with. It was attitude and unprofessionalism as soon as we stepped foot into that door. That itself made us not even want to give them our money. Once you get there a sales man called Mike tells you that the car was sold very late the night before. Then he directs you to look at other cars. It's a scam! They did it to me twice within a span of a year . I set up an appointment with that Mike 3 days before. The appointment was at 1pm. He let me drive for 30 mns before flippantly telling me that the car was sold late the night before. Why didn't he call me in the morning to inform me so I don't have to drive from exit 142 to 157 then onto route 46 and finally onto rte 17. This place is a scam. I have been looking for a certain car for months. I stumbled across the perfect one online at this dealership. I checked around and this particular car was listed on a couple of different sites, all at this dealer's location. When I called to inquire and offered to drive the couple hours to the dealership, I was told the car had 'just sold'. The dealer on the phone then tried to direct me to a lesser model. After doing some research, I found out the car had actually sold 16 days prior to my calling! Two weeks later, the dealership still has yet to remove this car's listing from their websites, and a number of others, still requesting customers inquire about the vehicle. SAFETY NET EXTENDED WARRANTY RIP OFF This is an additional comment on Auto Gallery for the horrible warranty that I was sold. Shame On them for treating their customers like this. The car I purchased 6 months ago has had a thermostat replacement, now a rack and pinion leak needs replacing plus a leaking radiator. Now with that being said, they sold me a warranty from SAFETY NET which is less then adequate. Warranty company wants me to use a certified mechanic which is understandable but they won't pay certified mechanic fees. Warranty pays $75, mechanics $100 and up. They also will not pay for a dealer part because they search the internet for wholesale companies to buy the part from and it could be up to half off the cost of dealer. You then have to purchase online and wait for part to ARRIVE. If it's damaged or the wrong part your mechanic has to wait to return it and get a new part. UNLESS YOU PAY THE BALANCE out of pocket for part. So my rack and pinion cost almost $500 from dealer they want to only expense $225 for a part online. I could get the part myself from online and have a non certified mechanic install it, are you kidding me. It would cost me less. What is the part made out of. I have a 2013 jeep grand Cherokee and they want to replace the parts with some West Coast part wholesaler which my mechanic has to create an account for to purchase the part. SAFETY NET WARRANTY IS A RIP OFF DO NOT SELL THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS IF YOU WANT THEM TO RETURN. I HAVE FILED A BBB COMPLAINT TO RECTIFY THE MATTER. read more

i went to look at a car for $9,895 asking price dealer fee $1,995 totaling $11,890 for unit price. on my paper work they have $12,800, $910 is unaccounted for. they adding extra money to yr contracts that's not including all the other fees. all the other fees totaling to $14,477.42 for a $9000 car i will never go there for a car again. Buyers beware - Worst dealer experience. Staff is incredibly shady, dishonest, rude and disrespectful. Drove an hour and a half to this dealer on 3 separate dates for an absolute waste of time. John in particular was an incredibly miserable and unpleasant salesman. Was rude from the moment I arrived to the lot until the moment I left. Had little interest in showing the car or taking it for a test drive. I called him to follow up on a price change of the vehicle that I was interested in and he proceeded to blow me off, not tell me the price and hung up on me! The dealer would not allow for a pre-purchase inspection of the vehicle, which is unheard of! We spoke to the salesman about taking the car for a PPI on a previous visit - no problem. We were unable to take the car that day so we made yet another trip - 3 hours total, to take the car for a PPI before purchasing, just to find out that they would NOT let us. Clearly trying to cover up hidden issues with the vehicle and do whatever they can to sell a broken car. On top of it all there is a $2,000 dealer fee tacked on to the listed price and they force you to buy an $800 lo jack. Absolute waste of time, wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Customer service is just about as awful as it can get. I was a very interested buyer who was very turned off by shady business practices. Would leave ZERO stars if I could.
