It's too…read morebad I was not able to hold onto the vehicle, but it could have become a much worse situation. Thanks to Vlad and the rest of the sales team, the problem was smoothly resolved. BEWARE THIS DEALERSHIP!! They sold me a car they did not own! Called me a month after I signed the contract to tell me they're unable to register the car because they could not get the title. Even though I was upset I worked with them to return the car. They gave me a refund on the down payment, but they're dragging their feet with paying off the financing which I am still being held responsible for! Moreover, the car is now being sold at another dealership, so now I'm financed for a someone else's car!! Stay away!

**** **Sold us a 2025 VW with 600 miles and a $1,000…read morereconditioning fee. Now they refuse to show us what they did.** We purchased a 2025 Volkswagen with approximately 600 miles in March 2026. BM Motor Cars charged us a $1,000 reconditioning fee for prior accident repairs and assured us the vehicle was safe. Within weeks, the front-end started failing: the bumper mount gave way, the radiator support was installed incorrectly, and the motor mount needed alignment. The car spent roughly 21 days in their shop during the first three months. We asked for the repair invoices and parts records multiple times. They refused to provide anything in writing and kept giving verbal assurances that the car was "safe." In June, the vehicle went into reduced-power mode with a check-engine light. They did not respond. We took it to an authorized Volkswagen service center, which diagnosed a failed thermostat housing, water pump, and a torn driver-side CV boot. On July 18, 2026, BM Motor Cars formally refused to assist, claiming the 90-day warranty expired. They made no accounting for the 21 days the vehicle was already out of service for repairs. A 2025 vehicle with 600 miles and a $1,000 reconditioning fee should not require a new water pump, thermostat housing, and repeated front-end repairs. We are documenting every interaction and pursuing all available remedies. This matter is not closed.

The finance guy "Moe" hope he doesn't work there anymore poor people he screwed over, he's a snake! Basically my car has been sitting in a shop for over 3 years because they can't figure out what's wrong with it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, DO NOT BE FOLLED BY THEM, THEY HAVE ONE PRICE ONLINE AND ANOTHER WHEN YOURE THERE! TRUST ME! AS A RETIRED MARINE, STAY AWAY FROM THE HEADACHE.

You would never send your wife to this place alone. Like an urban Fort Apache, it sits in a semi…read moresecluded alleyway surrounded by a crude chain link fence and barbed wire. The sales "office" is a very rusted out old trailer home. Our initial greeting at the place was a employee yelling at us to not park within the barbed-wire. We liked the safety of being inside the barbed-wire and there were plenty of spaces available. The on line reviews all say that they advertise at one price and, then, dramatically mark up the price upon arrival. This was the case with us. The lot advertised a car for $23,000 on line. When we arrived the Salesman said he couldn't sell it to us for that price, because it was "below market," and tried to sell it to us for $29K! We walked. So should you. Please save yourself a drive to this scary hell-hole Jersey City/Linden.

He bought his last car before the internet was invented, but now he could do all his research from the comfort of home. In most ways he had already done the ground work, reading Consumer Reports and other comparative reviews, selecting a make, model and approximate year car that he wanted to buy. Then he searched Car Fax and found his car at Metro Auto Exchange. He made an appointment to test drive it, then drove it, fell in love with the car, bought it, and took out a bumper-to-bumper insurance coverage just to be on the safe side. It was an easy deal, no pressure, plenty of time to drive around, the salesman was great! Financing was done before the purchase, although payment in cash was required. 3 months later, he is still super happy with his car and with the shopping experience.

I strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership…read more I purchased a vehicle here that was listed around $5,000 and was told it was a "good car" with no major issues. That was not accurate at all. After purchasing it, the vehicle became a constant source of problems. Every 2-3 months, new serious issues kept appearing, and it became clear the car had significant underlying mechanical problems that were not properly disclosed or addressed before sale. I am honestly not sure how this vehicle was sold in the condition it was in. In total, I have spent over $5,000 in repairs just to keep the car safe and running. This included engine mounts, major power steering components/valves, and a full brake system replacement (calipers, rotors, pads), along with multiple fluid flushes (brake and power steering). A mechanic later diagnosed a cylinder misfire issue that had not previously shown a check engine light. This raises serious concerns that existing problems may not have been properly identified or visible at the time of purchase. Overall, this has been an extremely expensive and frustrating experience. The vehicle required far more work than was represented, and I feel the condition of the car was significantly misrepresented at the time of sale. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership unless you are prepared for major hidden repair costs after purchase
