Ordered a Steak Panini and some fries from this cart. Steak Panini was a good size and was loaded up with meat. It was missing the avocado which was a bummer, but it was still fine even without. The sandwich was a little spicy, but nothing too unbearable. We didn't realize that the sandwich already came with chips and had ordered fries, so while the fries weren't totally necessary, they were nice and crispy and well worth it. The portion of them was very large, we shared them amongst 3 of us, and still had some left at the end. My mom got a strawberry lemonade, which was huge and served in what felt like a small bucket. Very good food , first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Yes parking is not so great, it's street parking. Atmosphere is nice and open in the French quarter. We tried the ribeye steak tacos and ribeye steak and fries. Would definitely recommend this place. Service was great. read more

Wanted to order a Ribeye Steak for lunch but they're only available on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Okay, how about a New York Steak. Don't have that either. No Sale. Bummer. Yum!! First of all, steak... from a food truck? Hmm. How good could it possibly be? We got there around 6, I think. And we wanted to try something with the chimichurri. But they were sold out of the steak they combine with it and refused to use a different steak on a sandwich with the chimichurri. Bummer. We ended up ordered a plate of tacos to share since the other dishes were more than we wanted to spend for a shareable snack. We asked for chimichurri on the side, just to try it. The steak tacos were packed with meat. They did not skimp, so it was definitely a good deal for the price. The sauce and spices were excellent. Steak is hot or miss with me, and unfortunately, it's usually a miss. But this place was super juicy and flavorful. The sauce it came with was great too. We didn't need the chimichurri, but it was nice to have taste so we know what to expect for next time. We'll definitely be back. They made steak from a food cart less weird. Super good! read more

We drove by a few times and finally tried it last year. It was surprisingly good. Ribeye steak is delicious. Ribeye tacos are an absolute must order each time. Mushrooms, potatoes, strawberry lemonade are our sides and beverage of choice each time. Pesto chicken sandwich is also good but we always default to the steak options first. It was so good we brought my family there the following week. We come whenever we can. Each time the food truck village seems quite sad. We ordered from the Indian and Thai place as well. Those are pretty good so I'll need to give them a review. Huge plus: we asked them to cook chicken with no sauce or seasoning so our dogs could have some while we ate. They had no issues or confusion about that order at all and only charged us $5.00. read more

This is a great food truck offering fine dining steak dinners and sandwiches at half the price of a traditional steakhouse restaurant. They some times sell out before closing, so it's a good to arrive early. Next time you're in Multnomah Village, give them a try. read more

Stumbled on this place at the French Quarter food cart pod opposite Johns Marketplace on Multnomah Blvd. Instead of the usual gyro, or burger, I splurged and got a NY steak at Del Toro for $19. OMG. I've been to this place in my neighborhood several times, and everything I've ever had here is great -- from amazing steak to the perfectly cooked sides, especially the Brussels sprouts. The cooks are friendly and the service is quick. There are a lot of great carts in this French Quarter food court and around the rest of Multnomah as well, but deltoro definitely stands out as one of the most reliably smile-inspiring craving-satisfiers in the neighborhood, and serves one of the best steaks I've ever had anywhere. I won't lie, brussel sprouts have never been my go to veggie but now they might be. These were amazing. I'll definitely go back and order more. I was craving a steak, so I walked down to the food park to give this place a try after reading all the great reviews. I had decided what I wanted by the time I got to the window and placed my order, the ribeye plate with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. 45 minutes later, my number came up. I took my plate to the table and cut into the steak, right down the middle. Then took it back. On no planet in this solar system was that a medium rare steak. I't surely passed through that state on its way to well done. The guy said that he was very sorry, and would be happy to make me another. I told him that I didn't have another 45 minutes to invest in this meal, and that I would eat it as is unless, of course he wanted to refund the cost of my meal. He declined. So, I sat down to eat the food on my plate. Not only was the steak way overdone, but the brussel sprouts were crispy on the outside and raw on the inside. These were NOT world class sprouts. The mashed potatoes were tolerable. Overdone or not, the steak was tasty, due in large part to the butter and garlic in which it was cooked. The first half was juicy, but soon it dried up and the remaining portion reminded me of shoe leather. OK, then I thought, this was certainly not the best steak I've ever had (as some reviews suggest), so I asked myself was this the best $28 steak I've ever had. I came back with a resounding "No Way! Not even close." I don't know why this place got so many outstanding reviews - unless this was just a bad night. I typically don't write reviews, but someone has to balance the glowing reports that delToro has received until now. I'll wait a month or so and give it one more try - as is my policy - in case it was just a bad night. We'll see. read more

Finally tried this place at Multnomah food carts at the urging of my wife. I was admittedly a little intimidated by the menu. Steak from a food truck? At her suggestion, I got the steak chimichurri panini and I can honestly say it was one of the best sandwiches I can remember eating in years. My wife got the chicken and liked hers a lot as well. I had the grilled NY steak with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and a couple of small slices of bread. The sprouts were excellent, cooked just right with a little char from the grill. The mashed potatoes were quite average, kind of like you'd get almost anywhere. Not particularly creamy or any hint of butter. The bread was a very average sourdough. Nothing special at all. The steak was good, but no better than I could make myself, and quite fatty. I trim off the fatty parts of things like steak and I probably removed about 1/3 of the steak as fat. The outside had no particular char, for a grilled steak, but the inside was done to a tee (medium) and the steak was tender with reasonable flavor. For me, however, it was too fatty to want to try again. read more
