Delicious! What a great restaurant to enjoy a meal at! We dropped in unexpectedly last Friday Night and much to our surprise they were able to seat the three of us! My daughter had the wet aged ribeye and loved it! So tasty and tender! Perfectly spiced and cooked! My wife had the seabass that was so delicious! The sauce accompanying the seabass was extremely tasty that highlighted the taste of the fish! I had the pork tenderloin on Joel's recommendation and it was delicious! Tender flavorful pork tenderloin cooked perfectly was so yummy! Our sever Joel was awesome! The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, perfect place to have quiet conversations in! Great restaurant to have a fabulous meal in!!

My experience here was wonderful! I had the lobster roll, bourbon sweet potatoes and chocolate torte. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was clean, quiet, and the food was very quick. My server was Josh. He was very kind and attentive. He recommended the lobster roll after I told him I was craving fish. He also suggested the chocolate dessert. He was spot on! He was courteous and friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Nothing bad to say about this place. I will definitely be back!

The best steak I've ever had! Take it with a grain of salt because I don't usually order steaks but when in the Midwest/Great Plains...how can you not. We ordered the bison wagyju and the house file mignon and they were both excellent, with wagyju being out of this world. For the appetizer we got steak tips (sweet & sour), also excellent, and the drinks (aviation, bourbon & berries) were on point. Would definitely come back.

Poor excuse for fine dining. Absolutely no plating. Came with reservations for a large party on a Weekday night, took 20 mins to get bread to the table. Kyle barely checked on us. Food was brought out at various temperatures some items cold other items fresh and warm. Inconsistent cooks on the meats considering multiple people ordered meats medium.

HIGHLY overrated. Service was slow - slow- slow Brushetta was dry- dry- dry Salmon was overcooked The only thing saving the review from 1 star was that my husband's ribeye was good. Otherwise, there was absolutely no redeeming quality for the dining experience. We should have stayed at the firehouse across the street and had a burger. We would have enjoyed it more and saved $150.00.

My hotel was just 3mins walk to this restaurant so I decided to try it. I booked a reservation online, walked in, and a big smile from the receptionist right in front of the restaurant. She checked me in, asked me to wait in waiting area while they set up a booth ready for me. I waited less than 5mins to get my table. I was worried about the food would be too salty like the other places but the server was nice and explained to me which option is salty and which is not. I ordered medium rare Wet Aged Ribeye with asparagus and baked potatoes. It was delicious. The meat was juicy, tender, and not salty. It came out hot with exact how medium rare that I wanted. I had to wait a bit long for my food came out but it was worth for the wait. The restaurant wasn't too noisy and has a lot tables which good for big group as well. I actually found a fly during my dinner. It was flying around my food. I think the owner should do something with that problem since they seem like an upscale restaurant. They have paid parking in front of the restaurant.

Wonderful service and delicious food! Highly recommend this gem. On the pricier side for Rapid City, but definitely worth it!

We had a great experience at the Delmonico Grill. We intended to go to tally Silverspoon, but they were full so we were directed to their sister restaurant at Delmonico Grill. The service was great, the restaurant is a little quieter, leaning towards fine dining. The food was delicious. We loved the Seabass and brussels sprouts and my kids had fantastic steak bites at a great value.

We started our evening at Sear Steakhouse with some excellent drinks. The thyme mocktail was crisp…read moreand refreshing, and my husband's old-fashioned was fragrant and well-balanced, complete with a perfect bada bing cherry. His only note was a preference for a single large ice cube rather than crushed, but overall the bar clearly knows what it's doing. The appetizers set a great tone. Warm sourdough was fresh and comforting. I enjoyed the bright, crisp house salad, while my husband's pumpkin soup was silky, savory, and perfectly seasonal. We both ordered the 7-ounce filet mignon, and the kitchen truly delivered! His medium-rare was tender and juicy with a beautiful sear, and my medium-well was still succulent--proof of precise cooking. They have an outstanding variety of cool, reasonably priced side dishes. My husband was excited about the Queen's honey carrots which were tender and flavorful (though the honey glaze was very subtle) and the creamy mashed potatoes that are part of the steak dish, were nicely executed. I didn't realize my filet came with mashed potatoes underneath, so I ordered a loaded, baked potato as my side, and ended up with extra potato (which I'm not complaining about whatsoever lol). We also enjoyed the whiskey cream sauce with mushrooms, which added a gentle smoky creamy richness, and the onion soubise, which was pure sweet comfort. Dessert was a highlight, as we celebrated my husband's birthday - we ordered all three featured desserts: The crème brûlée had a perfectly crackled top and smooth vanilla bean custard, the flourless chocolate dessert was deeply rich with espresso notes, and the butter cake was the total star - warm, moist, and decadently buttery. Each dessert was excellent in its own way, but that perfectly sinful butter cake stole the show! The atmosphere was inviting--warm wood tones, comfortable booths, well-balanced lighting, and enough TVs near the bar to keep my sports fan husband happy. Service was friendly and pleasant, though we found ourselves wishing for a bit more attentiveness. With a very quiet dining room, very early in the evening (we had a 4 PM reservation), there were moments when water refills lagged and opportunities for wine suggestions went unoffered (and we were definitely wanting to order some red with our steaks, but gave up because by the time there was an opportunity, we were finished with our steaks). We also briefly looked into the small private dining room on our way through the bar, and while we were greeted politely by one of the employees who was sitting in there, it felt like they missed the perfect opportunity to highlight the space for potential events. That said, nothing detracted significantly from the experience--it was simply a matter of polish. A touch more proactive engagement could elevate an already strong offering into something exceptional. Overall, Sear Steakhouse delivered an enjoyable and memorable evening. The food, drinks, and desserts are clearly strengths, and with just a little added focus on service flow and guest engagement, this restaurant has all the makings of a true standout in Rapid City. We look forward to returning and trying new things!

I'm really torn on this review because I've only been to Sear Steakhouse twice, and the experiences…read morewere completely different. The first visit was for a work event in the back room (not sure if that made a difference), and it was outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection--my steak literally melted in my mouth, and the sides were hot and delicious. I couldn't stop raving about it afterward. The second visit, after talking it up to my family, was a letdown. They were busy, and maybe that played a role, but it just wasn't the same. My steak was mediocre, and my husband was genuinely confused why I had claimed it was one of the best steaks I'd had in a long time. Unfortunately, when it comes to restaurants, the bad tends to outweigh the good. We haven't been back, and I can't justify the price tag when there are other great steak options in town. I know places can have off days, and maybe that's what happened--but I'm not willing to return to find out.

This is hearing damage level, folks! Service was awful. I ordered a margarita rocks, NO SALT. She brought it WITH salt. When I (finally) flagged her down she acted irked and argued that I ordered WITH salt. (Ummm no - but I will give her benefit of doubt because maybe she didn't hear me because it was so loud) They use germ laden self-pay ziosks because hey! Tip minimum of 20% for poor service quality and naturally we were charged for food we didn't order - two people and a $180 bill? No way. I ordered a $15.99 meal and so did my dinner companion and we each had just one drink and no extras. Once again, it took time to get any server to notice and resolve issue - no apology, just annoyance. I think they're annoyed because it's a SCAM and if you pay more without catching the error they get a bigger tip- funny they brought us the right meals then tried to charge us for Dallas ribeye and a large filet dinner and multiple drinks IN ADDITION to my $15.99 sirloin meal and his single pork chop meals. And you charge extra for butter for a sweet potato - talk about nickel and diming dining. Ugh! The FOOD was good and that is the only reason this review gets 2 stars instead of one. My medium rare sirloin steak was perfect - better than you should expect from a chain steakhouse - and my dinner companion liked his chop. Sides and side salads were generous and fresh. Still, I likely won't be back without noise cancelling earbuds and more patience though. I remain incensed with ziosks in general but even more so when I feel intentionally SCAMMED. (In this case, I think the manager should have apologized instead of continuing to chat up the hostess at the hostess stand, but hey! That's me. I'm just the customer after all... Be forewarned - they will probably be rude and overcharge you because I think it's SOP. Check your bill before you do part of their service job and pay by ziosk.
