They opened for takeout about a month ago, and soft-opened for indoor dining on 2026-03-24. They haven't printed paper menus yet so you can see it on their online ordering website via a QR code. Some of the dishes allow your choice of protein, which some choices at an additional cost. Many of their dishes allow a choice of spice level; some dishes are naturally very spicy at a minimum since authentic Indo-Hakka cuisine is very spicy and bold, using Indian spices, green chilies, and fiery sauces. I ordered the following: 1. House Special Steamed Momos with Chicken ($11.99+$1.00). Chose mild. Comes with a sweet chili sauce and a hot chili sauce. 2. Crispy Cauliflower Bliss ($13.99). Chose mild. 3. Desi Hakka & Co. Chow Mein with Veg ($15.99+$0.00). This is a house special. Their mild level still has a little bit of spiciness. This is the spiciest level I could handle from this restaurant. The momos were not spicy, but you can dip them into the sweet chili or hot sauces provided. The chicken inside the momos where plentiful and juicy. While shooting a video of wanting to slightly dip a momo (using provided tongs) into the hot sauce, I actually dropped it into the hot sauce, so 30% was covered with sauce! Then I tried a second momo and repeated the drop again! I suffered eating those two momos! I wish dropped them into the sweet chili sauce instead because that was less spicy. The Crispy Cauliflower was a little spicy. The batter around the cauliflower wasn't that crispy. Not sure if I took too long to eat it. The cauliflower itself was good. We started with one of their specials, the Shrimp Donuts. My dining companion assumed they'd be actual donuts with shrimp flavors, but this is definitely not that. It's essentially shrimp pieces shaped into a deep-fried donut. And it's good, real good. It arrived to the table piping hot, and I took a big old bite right away. The flavors are right on point, and the whole thing is enhanced by the accompanying sweet sauce. It's a terrific appetizer (although awfully expensive at $12 for four of them). For our main, we went with the Khao Soi ("Soft and crispy egg noodles, golden curry, coconut milk, spring onion, red onion, crispy shallot, lime, pickled veg") and we got that Spicy. It's a really solid version of this iconic dish. It's maybe not up there with the best adaptations I've had, but it's quite good. This dish did not disappoint, pure umami of different flavours. The beef is tender but not melt in your mouth tender as I would have liked it. We also love their Cabbage Spring Rolls. Such a simple appetizer but so crispy, packed with so much flavour, and completely addicting. Great ambiance, efficient service and excellent authentic Thai food with fair pricing.
